I love this store. I usually do not like second hand stores because they smell unclean. This store is clean and so is their clothes. I highly recommend it. Nothing is over $20. I have found some great pleated skirts for $5! A wool camel jacket for $8.99. Seriously quality merchandise in all sizes. This is a self help place. There is no service to speak of and there are no dressing rooms. So what you buy you keep. But is well worth the investment. read more

I really am in love with this thrift store and I've been trying to find a good one for years now to fall back in love with drifting I swear the most I've paid for a piece of clothing. Here was probably eight bucks. You really get a lot of value for what you spend. Everything is clear the employees and people who volunteer there are super friendly and helpful and don't harass you or follow you around like other thrift stores tend to do. They have a really big selection of kids items as well upstairs and men's and women's clothing I keep finding myself going back every time I have extra money lol really humble workers as well. me and my mom love it here. So happy to have stumbled upon this thrift store. They open early. The employees are pleasant and helpful. They have a good selection of goods. I found some great business work outfits. I was debating which items to get and one of the employees helped me narrow down my choices. Unlike other thrift stores, I did not see any "Color of the day" deals but the prices were so good I didn't mind. Most of my items were under $8. I would say to go here before going to Sal Army or Goodwill especially on a Tuesday because it's an additional 25% off. I have been coming here for years and I can tell the prices went up. It's like the prices in a regular store. They put theft alarm prevention on some items too. Gee That says something. Parking is tight and limited located at the back of the store. Metered street parking is available if you don't mind paying. Donation drop off is at the back as well. 25% off on Tuesdays until 12nn. Which is a good deal if you're purchasing a lot. You can find good stuff if you have the patience going through them. Tuesdays and Saturdays are the most busy days. I love this thrift! Not understanding the bas reviews. As a plus size gal it can be hard finding cute clothing at a thrift store but I leave with a cart full always! I will say their prices on purses is insane. Whoever is doing prices needs to reevaluate that. 14$ for used non brand purses is kind of crazy. But shirts being 2$ is awesome. Anyway I still recommend it. I also dont like the Christian radio playing the entire time so I usually bring my headphones lol read more

I move in a crowd that, when the location and time is right, would like to visit a thrift store. Therefore, in between errands, and with one in the vicinity, I found myself at the Reseda Super Thrift Store on Sherman Way, in Reseda. You will be in awe the moment you walk in. The sheer size of the place and the abundant stock of clothing (predominantly), is something to see. There is a bias in selections, because you see much more clothing choices for women than men :) and that is okay. The fact that the place is crowded, tells you that it is a popular destination for bargain hunters. I am one who donates to thrift and goodwill stores on a regular basis.......and I hope you are too. read more

This place is overwhelmingly huge. There are a lot of clothes to go through, which is fun, but I came in looking for home decorations and some furniture, and sadly, they didn't have much of those. However, I did have some luck finding cute clothes. Just be prepared to spend more time looking through everything. read more

This place is insane, I can find something every single time I come. I know I only left here once without something cause it was a notable visit. The prices are completely fair, I find them to be cheaper priced than most other thrift shops. The items I get here feel like they're tailored to be sold. I don't usually see actual junk being sold. They do cycle things out and mark stuff down because I've seen them do it and also I notice items become reduced or sold/removed after some point. I've been coming here for the last 8-9 years now. What's been good to me here are the housewares side. I've collected a spectacular amount of things. I've also gotten many shirts in here. I rarely come in contact with an employee besides at the register and they're always friendly to me. Yeah it's just a great store I think if you're into thrift stores you're totally missing out if you don't come here. Parking is in the rear off Darby. This is one of my favorite thrift store in town for kids clothing and toys. There are lots of namebrand items at decent prices. Games of puzzles are sometimes brand new and unopened. The store is huge. The employees have always been respectful towards me even though I don't speak Spanish. The only negatives for me are that they staple prices on everything and there's no changing room. The kids area can get messy at times, and as of recently, I have seen damaged clothing for sale. Kids toys may not work or missing parts, but they're usually priced to account for that. So you have to inspect everything closely, especially if the price seems very low for what you would expect. There also is a homeless encampment in back by the parking but on the other side of the fence. They keep to themselves and I have never seen them in the store parking lot. Also, there is no restroom. But if you take it for what it is, you can find some really great deals. read more

I asked if the marker is washable and it is NOT. Super Thrift (despite the name) is a solid "eeeehhhhhh" on the thrift store scale (the scale going from "eww stay away" to "I want to live here"). Nothing exactly "Super" about it. As a thrift store addict, I could easily walk past here and not really care if I went in or not. That says A LOT. I usually stop in to browse if I'm not too tired after spending two solid hours at the Goodwill up the street. Now, not to get down on Super Thrift, they have a large selection of stuff. However, over the course of 3 months and scouring the racks, I typically see the same stuff. So, I'm guessing there isn't a big stock rotation. Most of the clothes are either crummy, 80s or weird foreign mall brands I've never heard of. Rarely ever find vintage here. Either the prices are awesome at $1.99 for a dress...or completely overpriced, charging $30 for a 1970s muu muu. Still trying to figure out that logic. But I will give them a slice of credit for actually having a whole rack dedicated entirely to muu muu's. Way to go, guys. Housewares are hit or miss. Most of them are pretty icky. I did get some cool 1960s large wooden bowls for $3 that I use to hold my lucite bangles. But, that's about the extent of my finds here. There are no fitting rooms, and this is a place where people let their children run loose...so it's not always the most pleasant environment. I do like the neon Jesus sign, adds the perfect element of kitsch. If you like outdated early 2000's mall clothes that may or may not fit you...then this place is for you. Very mediocre. I enjoy thrifting so the size and amount of racks was a dream come true. All the clothes were very meh. Customer service was pretty wack as well. Language barrier and long lines. I misheard a customer speaking of a sale, but when I asked the cashier she looked at me blankly and a customer simply responded. the way they have sales goin is that it is already reflected on the price of the item? Some of the stuff was expensive for a thrift store and it seems they raise their prices based on the brand, I saw the ugliest bcbg vest for $33... and they write the price on the actual item with a sharpie that doesn't come out in the wash. Decent thrift store (comparing to Goodwill and Salvation Army). You can find designer items along with no name brands. Pricing is all over the place (just like all the other thrifts), so no surprise there. Good to go when they're having the color tag sales. People let their kids run rampant here, which is not only super annoying, but unsafe. Store employees try to tell the parents to check their kids, but it doesn't work. The store should be more aggressive and kick them out or something if they're not going to listen. That's just my opinion. The parking is pay for parking and the location is not the cleanest location there's a lot of homeless population in this area. However the thrift store itself is very big there are two stories and they have a ton of women's shoes on every aisle downstairs. Their men's selection is not as large. They had a few Halloween outfits but not a big selection of this either. You cannot beat these prices and I love the rescue mission it is always going to a good cause. I was looking for Hawaiian shirts and they had a pretty good selection mostly an extra large or larger. read more

Came here after work yesterday since it was only a few miles away. Free parking is behind the store (metered parking out on front on Sherman Way). This place is located right across from the Wells Fargo Bank. This store has a TON of clothes... although there are some knic knacs of drink glasses, vases and such, the main thing they have there are the clothes. Pricing here seemed very reasonably priced (maybe even cheaper for some clothing items that I saw that is cheaper than other thrift stores I've been too). I didn't buy anything here this trip, but will have to come back and see if there is anything that really catches my eye (but the thing is that I usually come to thrift shops looking for particular things and then occasionally come home with some things that I wasn't intended to buy). I have been coming to Super Thrift for years. They have an enormous selection of women's clothing but less so for men. With that said, I have found some awesome finds at this place at great prices. Last time I shopped at this location was at least 5 months ago and I decided to go there the other day to pick some summer dresses for my girls. By the entrance, behind the glass there is a sign with deals of the day. Deal of the day was "Blue". Blue paper PINNED down right underneath the word "Deal of the day". On the very bottom of the sign mentioning on Tuesday deals and a green paper on the floor. I spent at least an hour choosing clothes with blue tags just to find out at the register that the blue tag is full priced and discount applied only to greens! I had the cashier look at the sign herself and she mumbled something in Spanish from which I understood only "imbecile". She "short haired one" went on then conversing in Spanish with another employee "with pony tail" and told me that the deal is on greens and not blue and the green tag just fell off. Sure! And what? the blue tag got pinned there by itself? When I pointed out that to her she said "Everyone knows it's the green tag on sale this week" and went ahead talking to another customer in Spanish who agreed with her. At this point I was just aggravated by the whole moronic situation. Two employees yupping in Spanish along with another customer and I am just standing there. Seriously? You want to say something say it in English!!! English is not my native language, in fact it's my third. It's unprofessional, disrespectful and disgusting to be talking in different language Infront of the customer who doesn't understand it. I have never done that at my workplace. Never! I don't shop there everyday to know that it's green like that customer who'd been there obviously that week. i mainly go to thrift stores for one kind of item only and Super Thrift almost always have it and at a price I'm willing to pay. A thrift store near me sells the item used at the same price as if it were new. The only time I've ever seen this item at any goodwill was one in Lancaster and I live in Van Nuys so I'm not going to travel 60 miles in hopes that same store has more of what I want. I've been to several Goodwills in the San Fernando valley and not one has ever had that item in the 11 years I've lived in Van Nuys. Because Goodwill and Salvation Army are national chains, they have always been overpriced to be thrift stores. I often think about poor people. They can't afford the prices these chains charge. Not every store is for everybody but Super Thrift is the store for me. read more
