One of my favorite thrift stores in the Valley. I promise you will leave with something. I am a picky ass female and I always find something. My best finds are; * A pair of Hudson jeans. WHAAAAAAAAAT Jessica is a fly girl with Hudson jeans? I swear they were my size length , EVERYTHING was perfect its like they were made for me and get this for $6 bucks, super score. * A Chanel purse. OKAY I'm pretty sure it was not real BUT it sure looked it AND I flaunt it like it was real. * Lastly a pair of black cowboys boots, So damn cute and for $8 bucks. I had an emergency- I went from working in a vet clinic in scrubs, and boarding dogs at home in PAJAMAS sometimes; suddenly, I found myself working for a financial group! I needed decent business attire ASAP. I literally arrived with only 17 minutes left before closing- I walked out with 3 skirts (one even had the tag from Ross, it was new!), 1 dress pants, 2 suede/soft leather jacket and blazer, and 6 work blazers. How much? $40. I could make a better song than Macklemore. ONLY con? No fitting room! The skirts ended up not fitting, the material in those pencil skirts did not like my curves. Otherwise- clean and fantastically cheap. With 100% of profits aiding the homeless and children in the community. On a scale of one to Mike Shinoda, this store is a gorgeous Mike Shinoda. read more

I love this thrift store! Price: Last I checked this is one of the few places still charging actual thrift store prices. Nothing annoys me more than going into an ugly thrift shop and seeing a used "forever twenty-one" shirt for more than it would cost to get it new at the actual store. And just because it looks vintage doesn't mean you can charge vintage prices. Of all of the valley thrift stores this one is the least expensive (for what you can find). Selection: Large selection of mostly women clothes and shoes. They also have other items such as purses, men's, books, etc. Like any thrift store, there are plenty of junk But there are treasures here for very very low prices. I always find one or two items. The best part is that items are almost always in decent (some almost new) condition. Space: The store is pretty big. Don't bother with the upstairs unless you're actually looking for children's clothes and very used books. Look through the jeans for some great brands for very low prices. Sometimes you can find a fairly new and good quality pair of shoes for less than $10. Not the most clean or organized of stores but it's not chaotic or disgusting. In fact they have color coordinated most items and have prices on almost everything so it makes looking around easier. Misc.: There are NO fitting rooms so know your size before you come in. They have some mirrors so you can always put the dress/shirt/blazer etc over your clothes. They do not accept returns so be sure before you take it home. They are closed on Sundays because this is a christian charity. At least you know your money is going to help other people. On Saturdays the lines can get pretty long so come during the week if you can. There is free parking in the back. That's also where they take your donations. read more

I love to go thrifting but nowadays I hate paying the price that Goodwill or Salvation army set for their clothes. Seriously I rather pay $10 for a new dress or a new shoulder bag rather than for used ones. Like seriously $7 for a used blouse?! For used clothes you are going to charge me that much even though they are USED? Come on, don't be outrageous. Anyway then I discovered this place and was in shocked at how inexpensive everything was. This store is huge! It has a second floor for little kids. This place is breathable compared to other thrift shop if you know what I mean. They also have parking in the back. My biggest find was a Kate Spade shoulder bag for $8!!! My little brother found some Pac Sun pants for cheap as well. I have found many good clothing here for cheap. I have came back many times and I am please with this thrift shop. The only downside is that they do not have a fitting room. For a thrift store I think that is a very vital asset. I hope they will make one soon. read more

I'm in the mood to make a list... so here we go. -Inexpensive... way less than Goodwill/Salvation Army. Sweaters for under $3, dresses for $5 and under. -Huge. Entire upstairs is devoted to the kiddos. -They take credit cards. -Small parking lot behind the store plus plenty of street parking. -Smallish section of housewares/bric-a-brac... it's mostly clothing here. I found a vintage cardigan, an Xmas sweater vest, and some suede shorts... $7 for all. Not a lot of vintage here but definitely worth a stop if you're nearby. read more

It is utterly ridiculous that this super size thrift store does not have a fitting room! I am a die-hard thrifter, and this is the first one I've been to, with no fitting room. From a business / profit maximization perspective, the people who originally assigned the square footage in this place, with no allowance for a couple of fitting rooms, and the current management who are not putting this issue on the top of the agenda, are incompetent. You would most likely see an increase in visitors to your store, if you gave your customers the dignity of trying on tops, dresses, jeans, trousers, etc, in private. Moreover, you would most likely see an increase in your turnover, if customers could purchase the aforementioned type of clothes, with the confidence that they fit! I have been here twice, and both times, I have had negative experiences with staff: -Don't even try to head towards the restroom to try something on, because an employee will jump out behind you and make you feel like you were about to do something terrible. This employee proceeded to signal to a mirror on the shop floor which I could use. I found her whole manner and approach to be very rude. Then, I noticed her glaring at me several times whilst I was trying on a couple of items! -More recently, I went to the checkout to purchase a small item. One member of staff was dealing with a gentleman who was asking to see things in the display case. She was having a conversation with a second member of staff who was just standing there. This second staff member saw that I was waiting to check out. She proceeded to make me wait unnecessarily, until she finished her conversation. This is appalling customer service! Please retrain the staff here in the basics of customer service, as a matter of urgency. I would also highly recommend that you get some quotes to install a couple of changing rooms! read more

This is one of my favorite thrift stores. I always recommend this place to friends and family. The staff is great. The space is organized and color coded which I love! I've found great Nike and Adidas (Athletic apparel). They don't have fitting rooms so I suggest to wear thin clothes just in case you want to try on clothes. read more

Let me first say, I had never visited this thrift store even though I and my children love finding treasures at thrift stores. So, I was in the San Fernando, trying to be on time for an important meeting, went way past my address....Then I saw this huge super thrift store...After my meeting, I stopped by and immediately I felt like this was a very clean and well organized thrift store. Every section I visited, I was totally impressed how my basket was filling up and I mean really fast. I kept pulling things off one after another. This thrift store's prices were amazing. There were brand name items for economical prices I had come across in thrift shopping in a long time. I like the fact the children section was in the upstairs loft...big enough for my children to browse the puzzles and toys while I could peacefully shop for great clothes for my crew...Amazing...I was really satisfied. This is by far my favorite thrift store near CSUN. The prices are always reasonable, and the selection here is pretty great. Out of the 5 times I have been here, I have only walked away empty handed once. Also a good place to shop for extra goodies for a DIY costume. Some notables I have bought: -Purple dress from urban outfitters, 2.99 (half off that day, good thing!) -Camel colored blazer that fits perfectly, 1.99 (half off that day, woohoo!) -red high waisted shorts for a costume, .99 -Men's J Crew sweater, 3.99 (they tend to have GREAT men's sweaters around feb/march!!) -Orange silk top, 1.99 -ALMOST bought a vintage D&B bag, but not enough cash ($18, pricey, but still a good deal) read more

I'm a bit of a thrift store denizen, and this one is actually fairly decent. I wouldn't go in if I were looking for jeans, but if you don't mind wearing a used pair of workout shorts, you can load up here. There's also strange knick knacks, like a martini cooler that I bought for five bucks and which I managed to break within 5 minutes of getting home. For five dollars, though, it doesn't much matter. Parking is to the south of the building and free, and Spanish helps but isn't mandatory. read more

The first two times I came here, I walked away with designer bags for just 2.99 each. A Bally purse, and a Goldpfeil crossbody. I've also purchased books here, that are usually in really good condition (99 cents each), as well as some kitchenware... and I bought a cute high-waisted skirt, for just 1.99. Since it's on my way home from work, I'll usually stop by. I won't always find something, but I've had much more luck here than at Goodwill or Salvation army. And the prices are the best! read more

I only give this place one star because you have to give some kind of Rating. But just a few minutes ago I walk across the street with a jacket in my hands my jacket choose a Christmas present and walk into the thrift store with it so that I can give it to a friend who is cold while we walk across the street to go eat dinner I'm looking for my friend walking around the store and get to the front of the store the lady who runs the place says "are you going to pay for that" I say" no ma'am it's my jacket"she proceeded to say "no I saw you take it I'm going to check the cameras"and I say "are you calling me a thief?" she replies "yes"so while she's too busy to check the cameras I pull up a picture in my phone which I'm wearing the jacket dated a full month ahead of today and her reply is" it's okay you can take it"all the while in the back of the store there's a sign that says "Jesus is Lord"shut sure such a real christ-like place! If you don't have to shop here don't do it! I will never put another dime into this place! read more

This is my go-to thrift store because it's clean, organized, and have amazing brands for low prices. I've had plenty of great finds here. But how low are the prices? Well, it depends on the brand. Unlike normal thrift stores that have a set price for their items, this place charges you more if they know it's a "brand" name. For example, I found an Urban Outfitters top for $14. That's almost the price of a brand new top from Urban itself. I found Zara pants for $12 and the unbranded pants next to it was $3. I would expect thrift stores like Buffalo Exchange to upcharge their items because they buy it from people but this store takes /free/ donated clothes and decide to charge more for it. Shame. I found an amazing vintage Levi's 501 at Salvation Army for $2 but I'm sure if I found it at this store it would be more than $10. Salvation and Reseda Super Thrift claim to improve the lives of the less fortunate through their programs but I don't see Salvation charging me more than $10 for anything. And they're both Christian stores. read more

At the front of the store by the entrance are racks of clothing for 99 cents apiece. Women's clothing is in the front, men's in the back, and children's upstairs. Prices and selection are decent, but I've had much better luck finding inexpensive treasure at thrift stores elsewhere in greater LA. I liked this place because it had a wide variety of clothing and it was huge! 2 levels high to be exact so I would recommend because it has pretty good stuff in my opinion. But the reason I am giving the place 4 starts instead of 3 is because the parking situation was kinda iffy and sketchy also there is no fitting rooms just mirrors. Since the place is huge you will most likely share a mirror with other people and it could get awkward but hey you never know you could possibly make a new friend. read more

If I could, I would negative a billion stars from this location. My review is not to undermine the products here because, like any thrift store it takes patience to find amazing pieces. My experience here felt like I was being taken advantage of. I just came here and the cashier Diana took one look at my friend and myself and decided to change the pricing of the items we wished to purchase. She made two assumptions. 1.) that we didn't understand Spanish and 2.) she thought we switched the prices. She made a big scene asking her coworker in Spanish "do you know the price of this jacket?" Her coworker didn't understand what she was really asking-or rather implying. Basically, she added an additional amount to the jacket. From $6.99 to $12.99. We understand that the prices are still cheaper than what is being sold today. And that the money goes to non-profits. But I don't like being taken advantage of or discriminated because of the way I look. All in all, steer clear of Diana. Or simply voice out your concerns. read more

I went to Goodwill earlier in the morning to only see how expensive they have gotten. Who is seriously going to pay $6.00 for a shirt someone has sweated in for who knows how long? You get shirts brand new at that price at Ross! Annoyed at the prices there, I looked for another shop and found this one. I needed sweaters for a sewing project and was happy to find several for really cheap. Most were under $2.00 while Goodwill's were a flat $5.99 each and were not going to be on sale till winter. You'd think summer is when you'd like to have them on sale to get some out the door.. Go to this place. Don't waste time at Goodwill. I got 4 sweaters today for the price of one over there. Well, well, well: a solid thrift store in the valley. Who'dathunkit? In need of some new black jeans, I decided to see how the local thrift stores compared to those I had gone to in and around Hollywood. Rescue Mission Alliance totally came through on this matter -- and also helped me walk out with two bags worth of clothing. The first thing you'll notice upon entering is how large the store itself is. The racks of clothing run the length of the store, and are filled with wonderful second-hand treasures for second-hand prices. Within the span of about fifteen minutes, I was stumbling around with eight hangers worth of clothing and an amazing pair of $9 brown (snakeskin?) boots. To my dismay, they - like so many other thrift stores - did not have a fitting room available for trying on the goods. Luckily, there was a mirror in the women's section where I was able to try on a few items. As far as clothing goes, the selection they offer is excellent. Where they lack is in the other departments: knick-knacks, home goods, books, etc. There is a second floor upstairs, which houses their bookshelves. Mostly unremarkable up there, as far as I could see -- except for the 99 cent copy of The Satanic Verses that I uncovered. Score! All in all, I spent a grand total of $26 and got two shirts, two pairs of pants, a pair of boots, and a book. Bonus points for being able to use my credit card at the register, as I completely forgot to bring in some cash. read more

Well havnt been in this store for a while but to my suprise it seems prices went up drastically. The price are almost like goodwill or more. Mens pants at goodwill all are 7.99. Here 12.99 and if you find some at 6.99 they are stained or not in good condition. Staff is nice, store is clean and organize. Last time i came here it felt like a tense vibe now feels peaceful and at ease. Maybe it depends on maneger. Met previous maneger and she didnt look to friendly she was really rude to a customer infront of others(very unprofessional) now i hear someone else is managing and you can see the diffrence. Will be coming back from time to time to see if they lowered their prices a bit. As for today didnt find anything of my liking. read more
