I had never been to this store before. The man running the shop was very abrasive with his vibe, he told me not to bring my dog again. I informed him it's a service dog and he said he didn't care don't bring it again. I paid for the things I bought but honestly considered just not. He said weren't you here before with this dog. I've never been to this place before. I live 200 miles from here and I'll never come back. The anger he projected at me about my 4lb dog it's disgusting. Ridiculously HIGH, if not OVERPRICED items, not orderly, yucky in fact. When I was checking out, guy up front (not wearing a mask) immediately snatched (yes SNATCHED) a dish I picked up and said "that is wrong price, you cannot buy it!" I recently went to this thrift store for the first time. It was not the most organized one I've been to, but they did have some good items there. The racks are set up in a double decker fashion, so you have to adjust to that. A few of the items seemed priced high, but I saw many that were lower than Goodwill prices. The guy that was working was very friendly. When I checked out the item was 25% and I wasn't expecting that. Parking was kind of a pain. They have signs up that say "cash only" so be ready for that. A pretty cool thrift store. They are so many clothes of all kinds. From casual wear to formal wear to costumes. Everything is very organized and it makes it easy to search for treasure. The store has two floors and upstairs there are so many books. I was impressed at how immense it is, but the prices were somewhat steep for a thrift store and they also charge tax. I have so many mixed feelings about this place. The selection is really crummy. Their pricing scale is bizarre. I see they recently created a "vintage" section. However, just because something is considered "vintage" doesn't really mean that it should be overpriced. A moth eaten beaded 50s cardigan for $40? Seriously? Because you wrote 'vintage' all over the tag? Doesn't make it special, but I'm still laughing about it. I think they even have a rack dedicated to overpricing. Some sort of "boutique" thing. I don't get it. Most of the stuff is arranged to make walking around nearly impossible. Another store where you will find loose children running around, shrieking and unattended. And mixed with the state of disorganization? I fear for my safety at times. I'm waiting for the day I get slammed into by a tiny child goblin and get knocked into a purse avalanche. They should hand out hard hats upon entry. I did once find the most amazing 1940s hat here for $4 (probably because they had NO clue what it was) which has earned them a couple return trips from me, but I think I've hit my limit here. This thrift store just plain sucks. They're so set on getting top dollar for their merchandise that things sit for literally years. I saw a cheap 80s Dior sweater there in 2015, and it's STILL THERE. Just discount the freaking sweater. Then, when I was there today, I found a desk/writing pad tucked away with all their other junk in the back corner of the store. I asked the guy in front how much it was because it wasn't priced, and he said he might be able to get it priced by tomorrow at the earliest. Um, no thank you. Just put $5 on it and get it out the freaking store! But noo, because what if it's worth more and all they have to do it sit on it for 5 years to get a full $10 for it! ... I've been going to this out-of-the-way thrift store since the mid-2000s when I believe it first opened. Back then it was fun because it's housed in an old retail space with high ceilings and has a second floor mezzanine area filled with hundreds of books on nice Metro shelving. There was a pleasant Southeast Asian guy working the register, oldies playing on the radio, and I discovered many books and authors while combing through the stacks. Probably bought a few too many Time-Life books as well! What has happened to this place over the past few years is a disgrace. To begin with, the owner vastly overprices nearly every donation and so nothing sells after months and months. Hideous "framed" posters ($40), destroyed LPs ($10), junky & malfunctioning typewriters ($150)... the list goes on. The store smells bad and is increasingly frequented by shady characters and homeless people. I was willing to overlook most of this because of the books -- but my last two trips there have been simply too disgusting. The mezzanine section is now packed to the gills with books dumped in rotting cardboard boxes all the way to the edge of the balcony. 99% of them are absolutely worthless. After digging through 200 or 300 of these you might find something decent for two bucks -- but honestly, it's such a chore, the environment so unsanitary and depressing -- I'd skip it. There are better thrift stores around Los Angeles, even if you have to pay a few dollars more to get some quality items. read more

This spot is one of those hole in the wall thrifts that is worth raving about. I usually run into these in a rush when I have some time to spare between errand or work and my visit to this place fell into that category. I unfortunately didn't get much time to look around and tear the place apart looking for good deals, but it definitely looked like a place to find them. They had great discounts and always have sales on weekends. The abundance of stuff is why I love these second hand stores and this place has it all in that sense. If you like treasure hunting in your local thrift store or you like shopping come thru. They also are taking volunteers apparently so help the small businesses if ya have a chance. Lastly, kinda specific, but great media section. Most thrifts lack in that because that stuff is pricey but these folks don't shy away from variety and sales. Was in the area and I love thrifting so I said why not. It is kind of cluttered but the whole point of thrifting is the journey right? The prices in my opinion weren't too bad at all-- actually better than the good will. I love the atmosphere and the staff was very kind. Maybe I'm easy to please who knows but I'll be back again. The purple tags today were 50% off clothes i don't know if that's daily or not and then on the weekends everything is 50% off. I don't care that they charge tax -- people have to make a living right? I am happy with my items I got and they didn't seem worn either. Got some great vintage Tommy Hilfiger shoes for 2.99 and that wasn't event on sale. It's not the cleanest or biggest Thrift Store I've been to but has the best things for cheap. I recently went this past weekend and I found 2 American Apparel dresses which were about $3 dollars a piece, a pair of True Religion shorts for $8 dollars and a green plain jacket for $1 dollar! YEAH super cheap. You have to legit look thru every single thing, hanger after hanger and I promise you will find something, It smells a bit weird like stale in here, but don't let that discourage you. I really enjoy coming to this thrift store. The staff has been friendly, and there are GREAT finds at GREAT prices! I don't like that there aren't many discount days nor do I like the fact that you can't carry your purse around if you have one. It's annoying to have to carry my phone and keys while carrying an arm full of clothes...that's why I deducted a star :) There is also an upstairs that has books, rugs, and outdoor items. It's pretty cool up there, and if you are into reading, there are a TON of books! I hope one day they lift the no purses policy. I think if they're that concerned with people shoplifting they should install some rinky dink surveillance cameras and monitor it every so often. read more

I got me some nice brand new jeans for $5, (I don't know why they were donated to begin with) I got me 3 blouses from banana rep (almost brand new) I got 2 dresses, one MK and one umm I forgot the brand) but anyways, the experience was great the staff is awesome. Staff is so nice and willing to help. It is clean, organized, cheap, great variety of antiques and books, lotsa lotsa clothes. You must not be on a rush when you come here tho. This place is 2-stories, and the 2nd story has like 10,000 books! I was only in town for a little while, but, I certainly need to come back and take some photos of this place. I bought a Latin language textbook as well as a French language textbook--for like $3 total. The staff was cool. They closed at 8PM, but they let us wander around until like 8:15 without issue. I give 3 stars. Mostly because it is dusty in there and smelled dingy and musty. I've only been here twice. The first time I was there, I overheard the owner nicely reply to another customer to bring gloves next time, as she'd complained about the dust in there. I would advise the same. There were many items but aisles are super crowded. Sometimes, it's blocked up by their carts of stuff ready for display. I wasn't interested in this shop at first until the owner told me to check out the upstairs. Wow! I don't care for the sports accessories or table cloths up there. I saw boxes and shelves of books, and I nearly died and gone to heaven. Some books were very old from the late 1800s and the smell was very sweetly nostalgic. I had to go back a second time as the first time, I was rushed as I had my impatient kids with me. I did find my daughter her bike helmet and elbow/knee pads, though. Good condition too. The rest were obviously very used and dirty. This store is a hit or miss. You gotta give yourself time. I mean, I spent 2 hours in there the second time I visited without the kids. But I was only in the book section upstairs so can't say much about downstairs. I left with 4 books for 5 bucks and some change. One of the book is a very popular astrology book. Another was a very popular international best sellers. The other two were metaphysical books. I'll definitely go back, but mainly for the books. read more
