If you don't mind scrolling through the racks for a deal, this is one of the places that you'll like. There's a few other chain stores with the same concept and great deals. Majority of the time whenever I stop by any one of these types of store, I go for the home department and decors. It used to just be Marshalls but they have branched out and combined with Home Goods. You still have all your clothing which can be a bit of a struggle looking for something. I feel if you're searching for something, more than likely you won't find it. Come with an open mind and I'm sure you'll walk out with something. They do have a massive clothing sections. More for female as most places tend to be. But their home section is quite impressive. Furniture and sort are alway good. It's a hit or miss if you're looking for a pair of something as a lot of the stores tend to get one or maybe a pair if you're lucky. But besides that, they have a pretty nice selection on everything home decors. Accent chairs, accent tables, lamps, mirrors, rugs, bedding, kitchenware, and so on. A very good selections. With home furniture, I do sense that the prices have gone way up from what they used to be with items carried here. You can still get somewhat of a deal but some of the items are same prices as you would find in more of the boutique stores. Each stores will carry different items as they get certain things delivered to their locations. I checked with one of the staff to see how often or when furniture gets delivered which she replied that delivery is pretty much all week but they never know what will be sent. It was so gross! My daughter had to use the restroom while we were shopping and I took her in and it was filthy. It looks like someone defecated all over the seat and crumbled up feces, covered toilet paper wads, and threw them on the floor. There was a literal pile of dirty toilet paper like you'd see in a hoarder's house there was urine all over the floor next to the toilet and it looks like someone peed in the corner by the door. I grabbed my daughter's hands and said absolutely not and left the store because it was so gross. I purchased something online that didn't fit. The website said in-store returns were free and shipping it back was $12. So, I went to the store. Unfortunately, in-store returns are only for store credit (apparently because I committed the sin of using Paypal to check out; that policy is on the website if you look, but there is no warning about it on the pages you actually view when shopping). I made my purchase feeling safe that I could return it if it didn't work out, so losing out on the money was a bummer. I wandered around a bit trying to find something I could buy, but it's all really cluttered and overwhelming, and I didn't want to wait in the line again (about 20 min). Some of the discounts seem pretty good. IDK. Just because they said the $40 dress is actually worth $200 doesn't make that true. I'm really bummed about the money. read more

One of my favorite Marshall locations but the line is a whole other story people!!!! Doesn't matter what time you are here! And forget about it during the holiday season...the line is like a ride at Disneyland! This location is also a Home Goods now. So you can find some great home items as well as clothes. The long check out line is stocked with last minute "I don't really need these" items but "why not?!" Lol. From snacks, socks, candles, festive plates and beauty items, if you are a sucker like me, they got ya! Prices are moderate to pricey depending on what you are looking at and need. The designer items can run anywhere from $29 to $200. I still love this place. Not the cleanest Marshalls but fully stocked!!!! Plenty of free parking in the lot as well. Nice name brand clothing, face masks, high quality lotions, purses, men's clothing, kids toys, shoes, candles, furniture and my favorite, snacks! It always nicely stocked and full of people here. It's a fun place to go shopping and zone out. I love that they have Harry and David Carmel gourmet popcorn, sweet onion chips, fancy teas, dried pastas, cookies, truffles. They are always bringing in new items and having sales. Customer service is always pretty nice here too. They have a bathroom inside for Customers, it's not the cleanest but it's nice to have one in store. At checkout this young woman was about to start checking me out then stopped to whisper something at another woman who I assume was a front end supervisor, probably early 50s Hispanic woman.. (mind you I am mexican and look it) she then starts to ring me up and talk to me in spanish so I go along and respond in spanish.. she then goes on about signing me up for a "certificate to get points and money back" I assumed she meant their rewards program because she kept saying "coupons and certificates"... I give her my ID as she asked and she signs me up then prompts me to the key pad asking me for my SOCIAL SECURITY AND INCOME! At that moment I was like wait a minute this is an application for a credit card which she never mentioned to me. She got nervous and canceled the application and the previous cashier ended up helping me check out. I overheard the Hispanic cashier complaining that they had to have "8 new credit cards and its not even 11am yet" I was beyond upset! She judged me by my looks and assumed I didnt understand spanish just to trick me into applying for a store credit card. I can't even imagine how many non English speaking people have been targeted and tricked into this. Never going back! read more

I am extremely happy with the cashier that checked me out at this specific location she was patient always had a smile on her face and I was a very difficult customer because I was giving her items that I wasn't taking. The service here is not good. I spent 30 minutes looking through all the disorganized bras to find one set that was missing the third bra. I found the whole set in a different size for them to scan. The manager told me they would look for the missing bra for the next two weeks instead of just discounting it a few dollars. Someone clearly stole the black bra and she was just being too lazy to make a new tag. They have crappy management and there is a reason they have bad reviews. read more

It really blows when you want to go shopping and the first thing there isn't a cart! Why are there no carts? A handful of customers did have carts but over 50% didn't. Ok so it helps us not spend as much money... great business model! Yet I gotta say, waiting in a line that's at least 30 people deep and it takes over 45 minutes to check out, makes me wanna take my business elsewhere. The last time I was in this location, it was the same scenario. Guess I'm a fool for thinking it would get better. Too bad you don't have self checkout because I'm sure it would make customers a lot happier! I usually love this Home Goods and the selection is wonderful, but today I tried to return something right before the store closed. A single item, a simple return, and an Asian lady at the door stopped me and told me they're closed. Normally I would understand in any other circumstance if I was shopping, or if the store was super insanely busy and they just couldn't take me not even a single return. I work in customer service so I KNOW how closing works. But for the circumstances, they only had one or two people in line left, and I had one single return WITH RECEIPT. There was no reason they shouldn't have let me in. Honestly it's just rude, and the mannerisms of the woman were disrespectful. I'm a manager myself and if you know customer service and truly love what you do, you can weigh your decisions better and instead of meeting a customer with immediate neglect. If it was me, I would take one last customer with a single return transaction, that would take me no longer than a minute or two to process. Today my family member was racially profiled by a cashier. My family member had an injured arm so instead of picking up the heavy decorative boxes from the cart, she peeled off the stickers to be scanned. Karla saw this, but still looked at my family member suspiciously, being very rude. Long story short, she treated us like criminals. We didn't bother fighting with the waste of space she was and gray rocked her, but I made sure to check her name tag before leaving. And the best part is, when she noticed I did, she changed her tone to a bright one. We ignored and left with our cute boxes. The store itself is fine. It's not the biggest Marshalls, nor does it have the best selection I've seen at other branches, but we had fun looking around and found some cool stuff to buy. Parking is great. Tons of space. I just encountered the rudest incompetent associate, JOHN A. wearing a name batch reading coordinator, claiming is the manager when I asked for a manager!!! I purchased a beautiful rug and a side board cabinet for appx $1100.00. I saw him dragging the white rug I just paid for faced down on the floor and when I walked up to him and told him to stop, you are ruining the rug, he flipped out, complaining that it's heavy etc... That's not my problem, put it on some wheels or a dolly or roll it up, at least don't drag the white rug faced down. By the time he got it up front it was all dirty and messed up. I was so upset, not only that he was on the call with his manager complaining about me!!! I was so upset with his stupidity, I asked him to call other stores, give me a discount at least so I can have it cleaned, he said vacume it. I told him you do it!!! regardless I had to cancel the sale, walk out without the rug I wanted. the store loosing out on a sale, all because of his lack of competence and lack of common sense. Came to meet up with my parents and they were having the time of their lives browsing around looking for things. I didn't purchase anything, but they did and the staff was friendly. I can say, The worst branch of Marshals , I've seen in the whole Los Angeles . With The worst customer service Specially , the rude and selfish manager whose name is ANAHIT M and the coordinator whose name is RICHARD A very unhelpful and unprofessional. We are a big family and always purchasing almost of our stuff and gift from this branch but , Any times these two people are working here gave us the bad experience and, are not gonna come back to this store until they are working. You can tell that this Marshalls has been renovated and they did a great job. This Marshalls has a pretty big selection of everything from clothes to home decor. The staff is friendly. There is a set of fitting rooms to try anything you need to. There is also a restroom in the back that the staff needs to let you into to use. The line moves quickly and you can tell that the registers are all new. The cashier that I had was very friendly and entertained my nephew as we checked out. There is a large parking lot as this is in a plaza with CVS, a grocery store, and a few other places. I would definitely come back here. read more
