Yay, found the Sea Monster Ice Cream and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frozen Yogurt at this Sherwood Forest, Target location. This is the second time we're purchasing the Sea Monster Ice Cream and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frozen Yogurt. Both ice cold treats are delicious and not too sweet. We first discovered these flavors here, at this Target location. We visited other Target locations and some locations don't seem to carry these specific flavors. Sea Monster Ice Cream is blue colored vanilla-flavored ice cream with a cookie swirl and cookie dough pieces. So delicious and not too sweet. Stopped into this Target to pick up a small paring knife. I had done a search online for a particular knife and the website showed that they had stock at this location. When I arrived I went to the aisle where the knife was located but there were none. A representative (Julie) noticed me looking up & down the aisle she asked if I needed help - very cool ! I showed her the item on my phone and she checked her store device & told me they had stock but it wasn't on the floor. Haven't been to this Target in AGES since we don't come out this way as much anymore! We used to live down the street by CSUN so it used to be our go to. It was always a bit of a weird one to me since parking is underground and the Target itself is up the escalator on the second floor. We dropped by over the weekend on the way to a Yelp Event and were happy to find what we needed! I was looking for some more of the Harry Potter Cutie Cuffs, specifically Slytherin since it was one of the cuter ones in that set (although I'm a Hufflepuff)! We also checked the Pokémon section and didn't find anything new but they did have the larger Pokémon Jazwares figures which are nice in case any collector out there was looking! They also had a cute Mini Funko Pop display case in the tech area which made for some great pics. I love Target, but they seriously need to get it together. This is how the bathrooms have looked the last couple of times I've been there. Every single stall was like this. I didn't take more pictures because I didn't want to gross people out. Then I went to the produce section and found expired ham, moldy cherry tomatoes, and who knows what else. Of all the stores in the SFV, I like this one the best as they have a great selection overall. However, their cashier today had a nasty attitude and I was trying to clarify that I was only charged once on one card I was trying to use at checkout because (due to her mistake) the transaction wasn't completed. For some reason she copped me an unnecessary attitude, was apologetic to customers behind me but short with me, and I discovered when I checked my card balance online that it appeared she charged me twice and I had to call my bank because the "manager" at the customer service desk couldn't help me (he offered to recharge me for everything, instead of voiding the extra transaction, wtf). Anyway, I handled it with my credit card company, but I don't appreciate the salty attitude directed at me which I cannot help but feel had racial undertones because I've been experiencing this at a lot of retail locations lately, especially in the Northridge/Granada Hills area. She needs to direct her aggression elsewhere. read more

Normally Target employees and management are super friendly and helpful, so I was very disappointed to come across my first Target store where the manager was not living up to par with the other Target staff and managers. My experience today was a very disappointing one. I come to this Target with my elderly mom, who is retired, and does her groceries on a strict budget. She happened to come across the toilet paper aisle that had a clear sign saying $15.59 for a pack of 12 mega rolls, (see the pic). At the time of purchase, the target employee rang up the item and it read $20+ dollars. My mom told the employee about the sign, and even went back to the aisle to take a picture of the sign and show the employee the price they had the item labeled. The employee called their manager over, Ana, and she was incredibly unhelpful. She was very dismissive, and not willing to help. She basically said her employees made a mistake in either stocking the items or placing their price signs, and absolutely refused to honor what they priced. When my mom told her that as a store, even if they tag their items incorrectly, they should honor the price, then fix the incorrect tags after. Ana refused, she said she would not honor it. This was the first time we experienced a store with that type of policy. We asked to speak to the store manager, to which Ana replied she was the main manager. We asked for her name because we told her we wanted to contact Target Corporate Office to let them know if this incident, and the only information she gave us for reference, is, "Ana the manager." Very unprofessional. To Target Corporate Office, if that is how your store managers resolve their pricing mistakes against their customers, PLEASE do better. I would think a store manager would have a higher level of experience in the retail industry to know how to properly handle these situations. Ana definitely needs more customer service training. read more

Now, I'm a huge Target fan, but this location is not good. Every time I come here I have high hopes because of the size, but am continually disappointed. It's so disorganized and shelves are empty. Specifically the shoe section is complete disaster. I also feel like the way the store is laid out is so disorienting. Where is the line between babies and toddler clothing? I have to walk halfway down the store to view all the women's clothes? I just can't find anything here. Like if I'm looking at purses, they are spread out all over the womens section. For how big this target is, I feel like they don't have a lot of inventory. Even when it comes to kids and summer toys. Food section is good and they have alcohol. Big parking lot too. Whether you were in need of some quick groceries vegan products, clothing, pharmaceutical products make up shoes, yummy snacks, and last-minute gift shopping. This is your place to go. I was able to find some really comfortable workout and lounge sets as well as a nice matching pajama and Christmas sweater that I needed for Work. They also have this delicious butter toffee that they sell in this tall plastic tube by the brand favorite day that I highly recommend they have so many other healthy items such as fresh pressed cold juices, probiotics, immunity defense. It's all here. I love it! I think my only complaint about this place is that I can get very very crowded and chaotic. I think the best time to go are in the earlier morning on a weekday or right before they close in the very late evening also make sure to keep your receipt for everything in case you need to return something. David, a manager, was SO HELPFUL with my purchase yesterday. Started a fundraiser for the first responders fighting the fires in the palisades and many of the products we got were from target. One of the many we needed in extremely large quantities were dude wipes, David made that happen for us yesterday. The target staff at northridge went above and beyond to help - this is thee best target in the entire valley area. Balboa location was very disappointing in their lack of urgency to help gathering products the firefighters needed and tried to give me a limit on how many I could buy when there are over 4400 firefighters we needed items for!! Finally, I went with my fave color. I went to the grocery area after and picked up a few items. There was a line at the register but it went fast. I fell for the target card scam at this location and let me be the first to tell you that the $50 off isn't $50 off So there I was looking to redeem my neato mon mon after going through all the hoops to get that card. Which I'm not going to get into on a store review. So I go to use it. This Target has the WORST service in the area. My husband and I shop and this location constantly, I could honestly say that we spend half our salaries here, but today we were HIGHLY disappointed! We heard that Cat and Jack has a return policy for 365 days and so we went to return a few things that our daughters have outgrown, but we were told by the front end manager and the executive manager that "policy changed" and that we could no longer return the item with no tags. Mind you, this is the reason we shop here vs. Wal-Mart, but again, they refused. How in the hell do you expect my daughter's to wear the clothes and then still have the tags? The clothes was clearly cat and jack, per the label, and we had the receipts, but we were not given any solutions, just a flat no! We later went to the Topanga location and the person behind the Guest Services desk even looked at us weird for asking if tags were needed and did the return no questions asked! Needless to say, we will NOT be returning to this location and prefer to drive the extra miles for better service. We will even charge our preferred pharmacies! I highly suggest you do better Target, to say we are disappointed is an understatement. The sale was buy a item get second one 20% off that's where she added a extra item. Therefore I paid for 3 items and didn't get 20% off. It was too late to go back. This is my go to Target everytime I need something from here. I sometime use their curb side pickup or just go to their online order pickup. But I also don't mind shopping inside the store as well. I never had a bad experience here and always find what I'm looking for. The Target app is a lifesaver if you want to save time looking for something because it will tell you the aisle the item is in. Finding parking here is easy as well since there are a lot of spots to choose from. The only issues you might encounter here is that there usually teens trying to sell you chocolate at the entrance. read more

I went to target to exchange my sons pull-ups to a different size. And the employee said they can't exchange but he can give me credit. I said yes. This guy makes a return to my card but the problem here is that I used Klarna to make payments of some item I purchased in target. Klarna uses there own card when buying from target. I don't get the money back they just change my payments to a lower amount. So they couldn't help me get the item anymore my son with autism has to go without pull-ups for a couple days until I get money. Do they not understand how hard it can be with autistic child. This Target is by far the best I have been to in the valley. It is super clean, the people working there are so friendly, and there is always parking available. I have never had a problem here and the selection you can find here is better than other locations. You can use the app to see what is in stock and even have them prepare it for you and just come and pick it up. They have great deals, you just have to keep an eye out for them and catch them. read more

This is a nice Target, its big, with plenty of parking and a good selection of items available. I'm not sure if this place was renovated or if its a new target but it was super nice and clean. Still not crazy about the layout changes of the stores, apparently this isn't just affecting the stores on the east coast I shop at so I at least sort of feel better about this. They also had some cute dresses that I don't think I saw at my regular home target so I don't know if they stock some different items based on region but came in handy to buy another dress for the event I was attending while out there. read more

This is on top 3 Target stores in the valley. Parking is always plentiful, the store is clean, and everything is easy to find. My only complaint is employees seem to hide out from customers. It is often hard to find an employee. Let's say you have a question or you need to get something in a locked case. That is my only gripe from this location. Other than that I am glad they removed their mask mandate. It is a good location in the center of the valley and has a lot of niche food items as well sometimes. I also like the good amount of clothes they have for both men and women here. This is generally my go-to definitely better than a lot of other Targets in the area. read more
