Poly and Bark has been amazing to me, especially the Director of Customer Service, Jessica. They…read morehave treated me so well as a customer. The only issue I have had has been with the delivery company. I have had a nightmare experience in getting my couch delivered. The first delivery team damaged the beautiful wood frame on my couch and Poly and Bark didn't even hesitate to order me a replacement. Since then the delivery company has two created issues with delivery and I still don't actually have my replacement couch. But that is no fault of Poly and Bark. Jessica has gone above and beyond, working with me directly to ensure I have a good customer experience. She and I spoke on the phone at Greta lengths to ensure we were on the same page and team. She made sure I was able to contact her whenever I needed her and she was always swift to respond. Nothing that has gone wrong is the fault of Poly and Bark, and yet they have been the only ones in this process who have done everything in their power to make it right. Jessica has given up part of her weekends and evenings in an effort to make sure I get the highest quality white glove delivery. There is a three hours time difference as I am in Seattle. So often Jessica has been in communication with me at 10 or 11pm her time. She made sure my replacement couch was inspected a second time and insisted on a lot of quality assurance from the delivery company. I highly recommend Poky and Bark because honestly it's the most comfortable sofa I've ever had. I got the Zyon with the extra wide chaise and it's been the best nap spot of my life. And my cats favorite new place to cuddle. In sum, the furniture is great quality, the customer service has been excellent and only the delivery experience has been rough, due to no fault of Poly and Bark. My experience is an outlier. If you order from them, trust that you'll have an experience you are happy with.

I could write pages about the excellent work done by Jo-Ann Capelaci and Deidre Taylor…read more I knew I needed major changes in my home with a vague idea of what I wanted - master bath, kitchen, lighting, flooring, paint and window treatments. Jo-Ann was one of many designers I reached out to, but she was the first to engage in a meaningful conversation. An appointment was set and Deidre came to my home for the initial consultation. She spent time getting to know me along with my likes and dislikes. The guidance and direction they provided was phenomenal. They both exude a calmness that helped make this all manageable. I would absolutely recommend Jo-Ann, Deidre and the rest of her associates - I could not be happier with the results. They exceeded my expectations and left me with a home I love.

This is why when I bought a house I thought to call her for some advice and guidance. She met me at the new home as well as at some stores to help me sort through some of the more important decisions like COLOR. The questions she asked me while in my new home made me think, and actually saved me money because she brought up a few things I would never have thought of and I ended up going in a different (better) direction. Her knowledge and experience, along with her kind and calm demeanor took a lot of my stress away as I was making these important decisions about my new (first) home! I look forward to working with her again when we decide to do more improvements.

There was nothing in this arena that would work in the space, because the ceilings are high and the opening wide. I walked into the shop on Thousand Oaks Blvd and knew they could achieve the elegant look I wanted. This was a few years ago. Fast forward to my experience now. There was an issue with the hardware, they were so responsive and took care of the problem immediately. The drapes even slide on the rod better than ever. A big shout out to everyone at Dream Interiors. My bedroom looks beautiful, the drapes keep the room cool during the day and if you want to have a custom job at a great price,...go there! Tanya

I had Dreamhouse reupholster my sofa and some guest chairs and they turned out just fine so I asked…read morethem to rebuild the seats in a couple of leather lounge chairs I have because they were sinking down too far when anybody sat on them. When the chairs were returned, they seats were much better EXCEPT they were striped! The backs of the chairs had been folded down and then the chairs were obviously left where they were exposed to sunlight which bleached out the leather and left stripes. I called Farzi and sent her pictures and she agreed to repair them. Dreamhouse picked up the chairs on Sept 10th so they could try and match the replacement leather on the seat cushions to what was on the back cushions and ottoman (which they did not work on). After nearly 6 WEEKS, they finally admitted that they couldn't match the leather. (This was after I had called repeatedly to get status and had been told that the chairs were going to be delivered but the delivery people were either out on vacation or too busy...that went on for a couple of weeks.) Since I knew where the leather had originally been purchased, I met the upholsterer in Downtown Los Angeles so we could get as close as possible to the existing leather. At that point I was told that Dreamhouse was ONLY going to reupholster the seats and the not the back cushions or ottoman. I agreed ONLY if it was not immediately obvious that the seats were different than the back cushions or ottoman. After all, everything had originally matched. When the chairs were finally returned, another week and a half later, the backs looked OK but the ottoman just did not match anymore. I told Dreamhouse I was willing to live with the backs but not the ottoman. I asked if there was any leftover leather from the hide that was purchased but nobody could give me an answer. Finally, to facilitate the process, I offered to drive the ottoman to Dreamhouse (26 miles away each way) and contribute $100.00 towards the replacement leather since I thought they would have to buy another hide ($200.00). Farzi countered at $150.00 (what?) and, again, to facilitate the repair, I agreed to $125.00. I was offering because I thought she would have to buy another hide and I felt bad for the upholsterer even though he caused this problem in the first place. Today, I picked up the ottoman (another 26 miles each way) and was told they were only going to charge me $75.00 because there was enough leather left over from the original hide and they did not need to purchase any more. WHAT?!? None of this fiasco was my fault but I paid the $75.00 because I did not want to argue with Farzi in front of other people in her shop and I just wanted to be done with this nightmare which had now been going on for 10 weeks!

Outstanding Flooring Service and Value…read more Ray at United Wholesale Flooring is the absolute best. I purchased from United because of Ray--his professional, friendly service gave me the confidence that I was making the right choice. Replacing the flooring throughout my entire home was a major project, and I wanted to get it right. Nobody looks forward to having their house turned upside down, so I took my time and interviewed at least 30 companies. Then I met Ray, and the difference was clear. Ray is calm, honest, knowledgeable, and never pushy. He listened to what I wanted, walked me through the options, explained the differences, and helped me find the right floor at a great price. His advice made all the difference: "Jerome, if you want your house to look great and natural, go with this flooring." I followed his recommendation, and I couldn't be happier. The floor looks beautiful and natural throughout my home. When I had a second flooring project, I went straight back to Ray. He helped me get the same flooring at an even better price, and the service was just as excellent. United Wholesale Flooring has an outstanding selection, excellent quality, and great value. But Ray is what makes the experience exceptional. If you're shopping for flooring, do yourself a favor and visit Ray. I recommend him and United Wholesale Flooring without hesitation. My husband and I have very different preferences when it comes to colors, so choosing the right flooring wasn't easy. Ray took the time to listen to both of us and guided us toward a color that worked beautifully with our home. We absolutely love how the flooring turned out! Several of our friends have commented that it makes our home look brighter, more airy, and modern. We installed the waterproof laminate flooring directly over our existing tile, and it worked beautifully. This saved us a significant amount on labor costs. The quality of the McMillian flooring is also excellent. We've accidentally dropped a heavy hammer on it and have moved heavy furniture across it, and there are no dents, scratches, or marks. We are very happy with both the flooring and the service we received. A special thank-you to Ray for making the selection process so much easier and for helping us find the perfect color. We would definitely recommend this company to others!
