I met JoAnn at various local networking events. She always had something interesting and relate able to share when it was time for her to speak about her business. This is why when I bought a house I thought to call her for some advice and guidance. She met me at the new home as well as at some stores to help me sort through some of the more important decisions like COLOR. The questions she asked me while in my new home made me think, and actually saved me money because she brought up a few things I would never have thought of and I ended up going in a different (better) direction. Its been a pleasure working with Jo-Ann and Dee. This is our 3rd project with them and the result is absolutely beautiful! We gutted our entire bathroom and added an exterior door and window. They helped us pick every detail from beginning to end. They are always quick to respond to our needs and always follow through on their promises. We hired Jo Anne after she worked with our neighbors when they remodeled their kitchen and downstairs bathroom. She did great work for them and their house is magnificent. We remodeled our kitchen, dining area and family room and really did not have a clue of what would work together. We worked with Jo-Ann Capelaci and Deidre Taylor to completely redesign our living room/dining room area and to do some lighting and design work in our kitchen and bathrooms. We have been absolutely thrilled with the results! Jo-Ann and Deidre are absolute professionals -creative, thoughtful, and really spent the time to come up with a redesign that is exactly our style. Jo Anne is Fantastic! We had never worked with a decorator before but we were going to remodel our kitchen and wanted to do it right. She pointed out things that we would have missed otherwise and as a result we have our dream kitchen. She is very resourceful and saved an immense amount of time finding exactly the right products. She worked well with our contractor. I loved that she seemed as excited about our project as we did. She drew us out to express out desires so that this is truly our house, not a decorators idea of what it should be. Jo-Ann was referred by a friend who used her and an excellent contractor, Fernando Contreras, to remodel bathrooms and a kitchen. When I saw the photos of the work, I hired Jo-Ann (and Fernando) without seeking other bids. I was not disappointed. Jo-Ann works to dig out your own ideas. She provides expert counseling on colors and designs, so you avoid embarrassing unintended consequences. I had a limited budget to do two bathrooms. Jo-Ann suggested we go spare on the downstairs bathroom, thereby saving money for an elaborate makeover of the upstairs master bathroom. The plan worked perfectly, keeping me on budget with the project. Jo-Ann and Deidre took the time to listen to what we were looking for, and they also set up Pinterest boards for us to pin things we liked so that they could get a feel for our style. Their services included floor plans (with options to choose from), design boards (also with options), a list of items to purchase with budget, a few trips to the Sofa Guy, and assistance with ordering. At every stage they answered our questions, made alternative suggestions if we wanted something different, and even helped us pick out something different when we took too long to order and the item was discontinued. Their attention to detail allowed me to relax a bit because they didn't let things fall through the cracks. I used to think interior design was only for the wealthy, and we certainly are not wealthy! It turns out that, with their designer discount, the savings paid for the design fees. So we paid the same as we would have doing it on our own, but it looks so much better! I recently moved into a new house and used Colours & Concepts to help with design ideas and paint colors. Joanne, who is the owner, is amazing!!! Not only is she very creative, she also inspired me and my partner to create designs of our own. I feel like our house looks like something out of a magazine and with Colours and Concepts' help we were able to incorporate our own taste throughout it. It really feels like "home" and I never want to leave. She helped to get us a great deal on our sofa too and always had such a positive and helpful attitude.
