Great Experience totally! Second purchase from here. Was looking at diff stores for wood floor. Knew I had to come here. Finally went there. Immediately, was shown great looking product and said that's it! Right product, right price. No need to go farther. Came back few days later, purchased. I thought it was a fun time. Abe commented on my antique watch. I fenagled a small discount. Best deal in town if you ask me. If you want your best bet, Sy's is the place to go. read more

Great people with great pricing. Somehow after so many years these guys were able to keep up a great attitude, answer all your questions and somehow keep their prices lower than everyone. The guys at the office as well as the warehouse guys always look like the enjoy working there. The sound of the owner singing is horrendous but other than that everything is perfect. read more

Sy's Discount Carpets & Flooring - Carpet from sy's - Carpeting Near Me - Chatsworth, California

Sy's is great. They have a huge warehouse with a wide selection and wonderful customer service. They were generous enough to donate a few samples for our program for children with disabilities. You can't always find that nowadays. read more

Great service and many choices to choose from...we will highly recommend. Sydney and Abe gave us great recommendations. read more

I prefer to do business with small family owned companies whenever possible. Went in for some remnant pieces for a small project. Fantastic service and low prices worth driving for. Gloria was extremely helpful and nice! read more

We were referred to Sy's Carpet by our installer, so we did not hesitate to go there to buy our flooring. We were met by a pleasant and knowledgeable young person that listened to what we said our needs were and promptly referred us to the area of Luxury Vinyl Plank samples. Compared to "Big Box" stores, Sy's carpet has a much greater selection of quality flooring at good prices. The customer service there is great. We purchased our material there and have had it installed. The results far exceeded our expectations. We had to make several trips to the store. Each visit was a pleasant experience and we got what we needed. We would highly recommend Sy's for Luxury Vinyl Plank, fair prices, and good customer service. Murray and Cynthia A. read more

We are so happy with the service, the timing of the order being filled and the follow up. Highly recommend this business. A big warehouse, plenty to choose from and obviously a family oriented priority. read more

It is rare nowadays to find good customer service let alone great customer service! Dad and daughter, what a great team! Great sense of humor as well. What I thought was going to be an impossible and expensive chore today turned into a very much possible and quite inexpensive one. I needed 4 pieces of relatively inexpensive carpet today and instead of trying to upsell me, they took me straight to the discount carpets and showed me what I wanted, I got 4 pieces cut right on the spot! Thank you for making my day! I highly recommend SYs's Discount and I will be coming back to buy my personal flooring from here as well! read more

Would unequivocally not recommend this establishment. They will cut your carpet significantly shorter than you pay for and not make it right. Horrible people. read more

I bought floors several years ago, and lost the receipt so I didn't know what I bought. Sydney helped me find out what it was, confirmed with me how much I would need, and facilitated the purchase on the spot. Great service, she wasn't in a rush to get off the phone, and answered questions that were probably on the website. Look forward to working with this company again. read more

Abe is great! this should be the first and only place when you're looking for carpeting.

Best compliments to SY's Discount Carpets for delivering exceptional customer service to me when I visited their huge showroom. The sales staff, Sydney and Gloria, were extremely professional, they listened to me patiently and answered every query of mine in a very polite way. The flooring I purchased was very cost-effective, and I am totally pleased read more

Our family happened to stumble upon Sys Carpet business, and we feel so lucky that we did. Sy's carpets are a premium product and very well priced. We work with Sy when we are there shopping as we are completely renovating our home, 4 bedrooms and 1 living room. 2 rooms have the same carpet and the other 3 spaces are different colors, but similar. Sy is very honest in his dealings, takes his time and is never in a rush to get you to buy. The rest of the staff is great and very professional, very clean space, and they really make you feel at home. I definitely recommend Sy's Discount Carpet over the "Big Box" companies or any other carpet establishment for that matter. We also asked Sy for any recommendations with installers, and he gave us a couple and the one we chose quoted a far cheaper price than others that we had spoken too, so he also helped us save money in that space as well. There is no other carpet establishment that you need to go to, this is a one stop shop!!! read more

The best! Unbeatable prices, best customer service. Will continue to come back here for all flooring needs.

Phenomenal customer service and huge selection of carpeting! I was in need of a very small carpet remnant to put in the back of a closet. Even though he knew I wasn't going to be spending a lot of money, Abe walked me in to their enormous warehouse and matched my carpet swatch with something they had in stock. He then cut the carpet for me and cut me a piece of padding. And he only asked me for $20 which he put into a donation jar. I had been quoted $300 from another carpet place the previous day. Abe just earned a customer for life. The next time we need to replace carpeting, I will definitely go straight to Sy's! read more

These guys are the best. Great selection of carpet and flooring. Great prices. Don't bother going anywhere else. Courteous staff as well!

We were told about Sys if you can believe it from another carpet company. They told us we wouldn't find better prices and quality anywhere else. They were right! They carry all the best carpeting at prices that were astonishing. Dave the owner is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend Sys to anyone looking for great carpets and a fantastic price. Debbie Borden read more

I was luck to find this family owned gem. THE BEST PRICES PERIOD. Free delivery because I was local. This is the place to go in my opinion. The owner Gabe is very stand up. Exceptional is the standard and the set it. read more

I took my own measurements of each stair and landing and went over it with the owner. The installer came to measure the day he was going to pick up the carpet and he said that Sy's sold me Twice as much than I needed!! I called the girl, Sydney that was helping me throughout the process with my order and told her what happened. She put me on hold for a second and said sorry we already cut the carpet. I then asked about the padding and she said oh yeah we can credit back the padding. When the installer came back he had all the padding, she didn't credit me back anything. The installer said they probably did it on purpose since they had the carpet there for a while. Annoyed I said okay. What can I do?! I just think it's rude that they oversold me not to mention, the guy doing the calculations, wasn't very nice or friendly. I'd definitely look for another place to buy carpet next time! Oh wait, I don't have to since I have enough to redo my whole project again! read more

EXCELLENT! We ordered thru Abe and Sydney and received a high quality carpet at a super competitive price. I had shopped multiple stores and Sy's had the best price and the best product. Miguel was the installer and he did a fantastic job. He came out at no charge and measured our house perfectly ( 210 square yards). I would highly recommend the whole team. read more

I was in the market to replace approximately 1000 sq/ft of carpet. They had a good variety of carpets to choose from. I pick my carpet and padding. Paid for it and was supposed to have it pick up by the installer. The I stalker went to pick it up and they had sold my padding. The lady there said they don't tag padding just carpet and if I didn't want it she could just have the carpet returned or I could pay additional for more expensive padding. She was so unprofessional and rude. I had no choice but to pay the difference as o already had all the furniture moved for the install. read more

Hi I don't like to write to many reviews but I noticed sy carpet has few bad reviews so I thought I should make my experience heard too !! Very big and more for commercial clients but if you want to go and get the best price in town and don't worry about some one not greeting you right away then this place is for you .Abe is great and he like to help people out .their prices are more than fair and they have lot of newer stuff in stock but it is definitely not a traditional retailer but they have great products for great prices Overall great business Hope this review helps read more

I was stressing out as I needed carpet quickly for a back bedroom. The big box stores told me 4-6 weeks. Called Sys they gave me some idea on prices, and emailed me a list of installers. I called a few installers on Wednesday found Sergio who said he could install for me on Friday for a very decent price. Went to Sys on Thursday and they were super friendly and helpful. Found very nice carpet and pad for a great price and this morning Sergio installed the carpet. It looks fantastic ! I cannot recommend them enough. This is the place to go when you need carpet. read more

We scheduled our carpet to be changed. And no one showed up or even called that they were not going to show up or be late. We had to move all of furniture ourselves and we've just been waiting outside with al of our stuff. Please I would never recommend this service to anyone. I usually am not one to complain. But I am livid. I had to put everything on hold for this change to happen and not a word from this company! I hope someone sees this review read more

Update: 6/17/2016 - Well, I'm VERY disappointed to report when I called today, I received a very steely and COLD reception from Gloria. She wasn't helpful and neither did she attempt to be. I won't be referring anyone to Sy's Carpet, nor will I be using their services in future. After speaking with my client in detail, she wasn't happy with their service either. Thanks Gloria Sorry you don't really enjoy or like your job. Witten 6/16/2016 - This was a 5 Star review based on previous experience. I worked with Sy's for years while I was with another management company. They are EXCELLENT. Gloria was ALWAYS great to speak with, she was diligent, and helpful and we formed a great working relationship. I'm hoping when I call them tomorrow that she will still be a part of the team. But the entire family is great. I took the time to visit their warehouse just a couple / few years ago. They have a large showroom and endless styles of carpet, wood, laminate, engineered wood, and vinyl. I love Sy's. I miss them. read more

Although I'm not a fan of carpet, the building I live in only has carpeted floors. This was a 2 day job and the father and son team they sent out were professional and quick. I would recommend Sy's Carpets if you are looking to have your carpets changed. read more

On Friday morning I arrived at their showroom to find some commercial brand office carpet. I looked around a bit and made my way into their office area where 2 people were working on the computer editing a letter or an email. Neither one acknowledged me. I continued to wait and not interrupt, the woman and man clearly knew I was there, but made no attempt to help me nor even say "Good Morning" or "someone will be right with you". Instead after 15 minutes she picked up the phone and paged for someone to come to the showroom and then continued on staring at the screen and talking as if I wasn't even there. I stood there for a few more minutes and then turned around and headed out the door. What they didn't know is that I work for one of the largest commercial real estate companies in Southern California. (Can you say dumb move?) It's 2016 and it's hard to believe a business owner and their employees could be so daft to not show an ounce of common courtesy or customer service to someone standing there wanting to do business with them. Plus we all know it's just really rude. Thank you for saving me the headache of dealing with your subpar service in the future. Hope that letter turned out well! read more

They have a great assortment of carpets and flooring that you can pick up the same day! They will also order for you.

Last week Gloria arranged for her team of Juan and Alfredo to come to my apartment to install vinyl floor in my kitchen dining area which is about 10' x 15'. I wanted to say how pleased I am with their work, professionalism and the quality of the vinyl they installed. I got the light color tile-looking floor and it's gorgeous.
