This is the oregon city burgerville. Burgerville is a well know oregon favorite fast food restaurant that integrates local producers into their menu. On this visit I enjoyed the Marion berry lemonade, bacon burger and fried green beans. The green beans were amazing and the lemonade and burger were just ok. They have a great sauce selection and I went with the garlic aioli, which I definitely recommend. The lemonade was not very well integrated with the Marion berry syrup/purée. The seating area has since reopened as it was closed throughout covid shutdowns. The employees were friendly and worked quickly to get out food to the table. I would recommend the app for getting free items such as milk shakes fries ect. read more

This review is solely based on their missing orders. We had came back from a family outing and stopped by to pick up some burgers. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 chicken sandwich, two order of onion rings and an order of fries. Came out to be around 70ish including tips. It took a long time for our orders to be ready but that's understandable, they cook everything fresh. We drove home to my brother in laws house in Milwaukie. Turned out, we were missing half our orders! Advice to everyone to please check your orders before leaving. Maybe we were disappointed, food was not as great as we had expected. read more

Back in the day a milk shake was thick, creamy, and yummy. We don't get milk shakes from Burgerville lvery often because they've Just become too expensive. But we decided today to do just that, since we hadn't had one all year. We opted for that new almond toffee flavor. It sounds good and looks great. At over $12 for the 2 of us... what the heck, it's only money, right? But what we got was little more than very cold almond roca flavored chocolate milk. We asked to make them Thick. This is thick? No. They are not. When was the definition of thick milk shake changed? The flavor was Good, but I wouldn't call this a milk shake. Come on, Burgerville, you're better than this. Today, I wanted to try Burgerville breakfast with my daughter. I got her the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast burger. She loves breakfast sandwiches. She said, "Mama, this white cheese is gross." So, when we got home, I tried her food. Yes, the white cheese was not good. It was a very stinky white cheese. It would have tasted much better with cheddar cheese, so I scraped it all off pretty easily when we got home. She ate it and said it was yummy. I ordered the sausage breakfast burrito. It was actually pretty good. I ordered it with a side of gravy. I very much encourage you to eat it that way. However, my only complaint was the salsa. A decent drop-in with a friend yesterday. We both had their Northwest Cheeseburger, split an order of fries. He had a shake, I got a soda. Totally acceptable for Burgerville fare. It's not the end of the world or anything, but this is one of the more disappointing Burgerville experiences I've had in a while -- mostly due to bad communication. First, I had to wait about five minutes at the counter for someone to take my order because they were so focused on the drive through that no one really acknowledged I was there. Then, the woman who took my order couldn't understand me so I had to repeat it multiple times and point to the menu board. The burger was fine but it wasn't what I ordered. I ordered a colossal burger and fries with a gluten free bun. They didn't ask if it was an allergy or intolerance or if I wanted the bun toasted. I ended up getting a (more expensive) bacon cheeseburger. I didn't get a tray even though I said I was going to dine in. This made it difficult to eat the food. I then overheard another employee explain (at 9 -- ten minutes after I ordered) that the dining room was closed. I had to rush to finish my burger and get out of there. Wish someone had said something or that this was explained more clearly in Google maps. It was very quiet and clean. Probably because it was the end of the dinner shift. read more

Soooooo disappointed in this Burgerville in Oregon City. Portland has it beat! I will not return. I went through the drive thru last night. There were no other cars. My food should have been perfect! The fries were hot. I like salted fries. However, there was so much salt on my fries that I couldn't eat them. My burger was Cold! When I took the old bun off, which also was not heated, the burger began to fall apart. There was a little dash of ketchup on the bun and a small amount of sauce. I'm updating my review of this Burgerville location because Burgerville Guest Services has bent over backwards since I posted this review to try and make my experience "right" - they have taken seriously the review I wrote, vowing to investigate and ensure that no one else ever has an experience like I did, as well as offering a refund of the food items I didn't like (the soggy cold fries), which I declined. Good customer service is hard to come by these days and I appreciate the effort that Burgerville has taken to resolve whatever the issues were on the day I was there that led to the less than stellar food I received. I will definitely go back and give this location another chance to make some good food for me... although I'm sorry to say it won't be a halibut sandwich because it has been discontinued. The food isn't bad but EVERY TIME I have ordered from this location with DoorDash they get my order wrong. Every ..single ..time. It's not hard to check a receipt and make sure it matches what you are handing out. Please don't buy into the delusion that you are getting higher quality fast food than you would at Mikey D's because you are paying more. Chicken sandwich is totally microwaved and still had cold spots in it, they completely dumped the small waffle fries into the bag instead of setting them on the bottom. They charged me an extra $1 to take pickles OFF my sandwich & add a tomato, which was completely soggy & woefully inadequate tomato, definitely NOT worth the effort to visit this place. Being named Burgerville feels to me like a push to try a burger. So we did. I'm not a fan of fast food but everyone seems to say if you're going to do it Burgerville is a cut above the rest. They have vegitarian options and kid's meals. They also do seasonal milk shakes and eats. Open 7am-11pm everyday. Drive through is often crowded. Our service was friendly. She was trying to be pleasant, she succeeded. Burger and fries. I tried the Colossal as is (comes 1/4 or 1/2 lb). Comes with green leaf lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, special sauce and American. It wasn't a bad burger. I mean, it's no Killer Burger but it's alright. Fries were lukecold. Yes, lukecold. They were alright. They use local ingredients and that's alright. Price on burgers run about $3.00-$7.00 (about the same on chicken) which is alright. Fries come in regular or large. The large is like a McDonalds medium so that's alright. The staff here are so friendly!! There was a brunette woman working the cash register who was a walking delight. I call the store because I do not live in Oregon city and was picking it up on my drive home. The manager answers and proceeds to give me attitude about how she packed my order and that I was wrong and I got all my burgers. Love love love Burgerville. Best "fast" food restaurant on the West Coast, if not the US. They serve high quality, not crap food. It's the kind of food I would make at home. Simple but quality ingredients. Their burgers are delicious. I only wish they had sweet pickles occasionally. (I love sweet pickles on a burger and dislike dill pickles). Their fish is delicious and I often select that. It's a crumb coating, not a batter coating. I haven't had many of their chicken dishes, but I would expect they are yummy. I just tried their new Apple Pie Shake and omg I love it. I don't usually have a shake because I'm not a fan of berries or chocolate (sacrilege!) and I don't want to waste calories on plain vanilla. But I'll be having a few more Apple Pie Shakes before they leave the menu. I do wish there were more vegan options. My daughter is a vegan and it's hard for us to eat there since there little she can consume, other than a bowl of lettuce. Chain food places start at a disadvantage because they don't have a chef that is vested in the food quality. They know that as long as the food is of a reasonable quality and that you have a pretty good idea of what you will get before you drive in the lot, then they have met requirements. I don't know about you, but anytime my work is evaluated as "meets requirements" I feel like I have been insulted. So I suppose if meets requirements makes you happy, then Burgerville will make you almost giddy. These guys pride themselves on locally sourced food and rotate differing seasonal specials on their menu. Right now the rosemary fries are being featured and you shouldn't miss those. They are tasty shoestring fries with a garlic rosemary seasoning that is really good. Just in case they don't have enough garlic, they include a garlic aoili doing sauce. The Tillimok cheddar with peppered bacon burger sounds terrific on the menu. The cheese and bacon live up to the hype. The size of the burger is my highly preferred quarter pound vs the way to much third pounder. This is where the picture becomes less rosy. The burger was overcooked, tough and tasteless. I resent spending that kind of money to get that quality. Complaining seems pointless. For about the same money Red Robin packs more Yummm. The basics are covered... The place it's clean, the country service cheerful and perhaps better at getting your order right the first time than many of their contemporaries. The produce is fresh. You don't wait a particularly long amount of time to get your order which is served hot and fresh. Sunday marks the arrival of strawberries. Short cake, Sundaes and probably strawberry lemon aid. Like the rosemary fries, they will charge you more and give you less than you expect, but it will be good and worth the stop on your way to somewhere you would go anyway. We order 3. urges and a large fries. we drove 2 miles home to find the food was cold, fries the same way. I was frustrated and upset. We went to Burgerville because you alway get quality food, it this time nor the service.I called and told the young lady who answer the phone, told her I would be disputing the charge, there was. o way they would know the food wasn't hot/ dry warm. She said you can do that or come back and get it replaced, she was ver defensive, got louder.
