But I was in town with some time to kill, so naturally this was my lunch choice, and it did not disappoint. The ambiance of the place really sets the tone, and those coney dogs with meat sauce and onions just hit the spot perfectly. Nothing has changed in 40 years, save the price maybe. They still give you a card from a standard deck of cards to represent your order number when your food is ready. In my humble fat man's opinion, this very well could be the best coney dog west of the Mississippi. Prost!

I was not expecting true authentic coneys but was hoping for good enough, these were not it. And their burgers were meh. On the positive side, prices were cheaper and the service was friendly.

My friend said, "Let's go eat at this bomb Mexican place". I was expecting a nice sit-down…read morerestaurant. I was surprised when we pulled into this fast-food place. I was skeptical and a little disappointed. I took some time to look over the extensive menu. I was torn between a few things. My friend thought she was ordering the mini chicken burritos, and I ordered the cheese enchilada and chile relleno combo plate. The inside is small with limited seating. I asked if I could get a wet towel to wipe down a table. An employee came to clean the table for us. As we waited for our number to be called, I commented that I wished they had chips and salsa. My friend said they do, you just have to pay for it. I guess I should have looked at the menu a little closer. Finally got our food, and it looked appetizing. I was not disappointed with the flavors or temperature of the food. The relleno was authentic, and the cheese in the enchilada had just the right amount of pull. The rice was good too. My friend commented that she was going to save half of her enormous burrito for later. Well, that didn't happen. She finished it all. I had too much food and took it back to the hotel to have for dinner the next day. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely come back.

I ordered a burger basket and upgraded to include fried mushrooms and a marionberry shake. It was…read morelikely the best marionberry shake I've ever had in my life. The mushrooms were quite good and the burger was solid. My son had the cheeseburger basket with fries. I tasted some of his fries and they were very good. The board menu is a bit confusing. The area that describes the basket/meal deal is not as prominent as it could be. Moreover, the cashier told us that if we wanted to eat outside on their picnic tables, everything would come in a bag to go, but if we wanted our food in a basket we had to eat inside. It was a nice night and I was interested in eating outside on their tables. Why can't I take my basket outside? Are they afraid I will run off with it? I didn't press the cashier on this and just followed the rules and ate inside but it struck me as a silly rule. Overall, a minor complaint.

It's a classic drive in that sometimes you can order outside and sometimes it's roped off and you have to go inside which ch is crowded with booths and some tables. Where you order is so cramped and hard to maneuver around folks ordering to get your drinks. This last time what I thought I ordered is the picture on the left- soft serve layered with strawberries - but what they give you is a $8 strawberry shake that is 3/4 of the cup with 3-4 inches of whipped cream on top. Hopefully it will be a while before I have to come back.

Boneless Yang-Yum Chicken (4.5/5): Crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The coating held up nicely but the sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste. Still a solid choice if you like that sweeter style. Beef Bibimbap (5/5): The beef is tender and juicy, wow. Good flavor throughout and the veggies added a nice freshness to balance it out. Service: Not Rated Good. Ambiance: Not Rated Tables of four and two. Simple layout, nothing fancy but comfortable enough for a casual meal.
