This Taco Bell location is the best one I have ever been to. The people who work there are happy to be there, even the manager. It is always clean, friendly and quick. I have been there many times as I live close, it is a refreshing change from KFc, Mcdonald's and subway. The only thing that ever happened to me was that when I went to order a fruitista one day that told me they did not have the correct cups for the slushy type beverage. It disappointed me because the paper & wax cup isn't lasting under the melting pressure of this usually frozen for hours drink. The second time I went to order a fruitista flavored POMOGRANTE STRAWBERRY, that was advertised on the drive through menu yet the customer service order taker was kind of rude when she told me you were no longer offering that kind anymore. She never offer me any other kind or explained why. It was strange. I ended out just leaving without ordering anything due to this. Overall, I have to say great place, one bad experience with one person will not deture me from going. I hope they get there cup orders figured out soon as it is a new location so they are on a new curve as well. read more

The person at the drive-thru window had no ambition never repeated an order back just kind of gave you what he wanted I guess. They don't answer their phone so you can call and tell them about it. I've always appreciated the employees at this Taco Bell--they're friendly and provide great service. However, the ordering experience has gone downhill over the past year or two. Today, when I walked in to order, I found that there was no visible menu inside. The only way to see the menu was through the self-service kiosks, which I don't want to use. I prefer to order from a person, not a machine. Since I couldn't see a menu inside, I had to leave and go through the drive-thru just to place my order. I don't think this is good business. Not everyone wants or is able to use self-service kiosks, and removing visible menus and counter service makes the experience frustrating. A restaurant should have an option for customers to talk to a real person when ordering, and it's disappointing that this is being taken away. I hope Taco Bell reconsiders this approach and brings back accessible menus and in-person ordering as a standard option. Has anyone else experienced this issue? read more

Consistently the worst managed, worst run taco bell in Portland. Every delivery driver's worst nightmare as they leave you sitting in line or in the lobby for 30+ minutes with no communication. More cancelled late night orders than you can count because they could care less about any order, customer or service worker. This location would be a gold mine if anyone cared at all. I ordered a simple $10 value meal and they were out of the fritos but had the meat.... no prob.. so I just politely asked could they then substitute sour cream for the fritos instead..... and boy oh boy, did the order taker flip out on me. Took our order ahead of time before the speaker to "improve our times" yet the line took probably just as long as if they didn't, got up to the window asked for sauce was told it was in the bag already, it wasn't. If you're going to have an employee take the orders outside, have them do it by the Menu board. It is there for a reason, illuminated and easy to read. Naturally the newest, least "people person" has to take the entire order. So... unless you've memorized the menu, the kid has to sit in the dark with a little laminated mini menu you can't see well. Here is the end result: you are probably going to order less. Is that what the goal is? Just make them sit in a corner with a dunce cap on and let all of us order the regular way. My toilet was too small for what happens after I ate this Taco Bell.I usually don't have a problem but this Taco Bell just gave me very bad stomach problems and I basically lived in my toilet for a day or two.I don't recommend anything with a lot of beans or meat(which is a lot of there items)just ask for light beans meat and I think you will be good.Honestly a very bad experience. read more

This was probably one of the worst Taco Bell experiences. I've had in a long time. when I arrived, the lady had a horrible attitude with me, the entire time, she seemed very hateful for her job. When we rolled up to the next window, she forgot over half of our order, and didn't mention to tell us that the Baja blast machine was broken after having us pay for it. It's ridiculous because she gave us ice in a cup and laughed, she gave us a Baja blast drink with no ice in it. I am extremely upset about my experience and all of our crunch wrap, Supremes and quesadillas have no sauce in the middle. It's as dry as a Sahara desert, this lady needs to be fired before someone whips her dick in her face. I wish some people had a little bit more respect for their customers because this was a little out of hand. Picked up some taco bell last night about 8pm for my son and I. I am vegan so I ordered a crunchwrap supreme and subbed beans for the meat and fresco style which means no dairy and I specified no dairy. my son is vegitarian and ordered a bean burritto, a chunch wrap beans instead of meat and no sour cream and a taco beans instead of meat. we got home and my vegan wrap was full of cheese so I just could not eat any of the taco bell food. my son ate the crunch wrap and woke up this morning throwing up all over. he has food poisoning and is very very sick from this food!!!!!! read more

We drove through at around 1030 am and the staff was quick accurate and the food hot and delish. There was a good amount of napkins put in the bag too as well as hot sauce which is important because you don't always have those these days. We asked for extra cheese on the nachos and it was a good amount and worth the extra charge which is always not something I get right at other locations. read more

What ever happened to a business that would produce basic food orders without making mistakes. Well let me tell you about Taco Bell Gladstone. I can say with absolute certainty that I have never received my order from this Taco Bell, and gotten all I ordered properly prepared. Thinking to myself I will go get some simple Taco Bell food, but I should of just remembered how this place always gets the food wrong. Today the issue was on multiple items. Taco shells on my Doritos locos Taco supremes were stale. The pintos and cheese were not only delivered to my order bag without cheese, but it also was some sort of cold, dry, foul smelling substance hardly resembling beans with red sauce. Plus my 7 layer burrito had the same cold, dry, foul smelling substance in it, and there were only 5 layers. It was missing rice and guacamole. Oh if they would of only left off the tomatoes which were frozen solid. I have given this place a chance to redeem their mediocrity several times. That was a mistake. I can't understand why quality control is not a part of the employee training. If you want to avoid the mistake I made skip Taco Bell Gladstone and try something else. Sorry about this terrible review Taco Bell, but how many time can you really make a mistake on order after order and keep people from telling other possible customers about the high possibility of not getting exactly what you paid for. The food has always been so fresh as warm, service through drive through has always been quick, even with an extremely long line. Orders have been accurately made, and when it wasn't completely accurate it was easy to not be upset because of how good the experience was anyway. At first I was a little sad that the original restaurant on this location was torn down. When I was a little kid we would go there for the 4/$1.00 hamburgers. But the place has been vacant for years and sometimes it's good to make way for the new. In this case, it was a greatly anticipated event. At this section of McLoughlin there aren't that many fast food restaurants so I was quite pleased to see something come in to compete with the Mickey D's and KFC up the road. I work in the area so having another option on the days I forget to bring a sack lunch was fabulous. I did the drive through thing and was pleased to hear a chipper (and clear) voice ask for my order. Upon driving up to the window I discovered it was the manager himself who was taking the drive-thru orders. He was pleasant, complimentary and very friendly....not something you usually get when driving up for a bite to eat. I went back a few days later and decided to eat in. The smallish building doesn't hold a lot of dine-in traffic but it definitely had that 'new restaurant' smell. What else can I say about Taco Bell? The food is what it is, the cost comparatively priced to other fast food establishments. But the friendly service and location will definitely draw me back again, and again, I'm certain. read more

Well, it's a Taco Bell, so you basically know what you are going to get. This one is the closest to my home, so those late evenings when I need something to eat, this is the location I head for.. I always use the drive-through, and frankly have found it no better or worse than other Taco Bell locations. The food has always been decent (again, it's a Taco Bell, so I have realistic expectations), the service has been more friendly than average, and I have never had any problems with food temperature. This last would be a big deal for me, as I always drive it home, ten minutes away, and eat there. So I will continue to patronize this TB location when I have a semi-Mexican food craving. read more

I had my two toddlers with me and I custom ordered two small waters about half-full, two burritos with no onions, and a bunch of other stuff. If I could give less than one star I would. I just came up to the window with a friend. The lady at the drive through was going on about all the things they don't have, which was a lot. My friend jokingly said " well you should shut down, you don't have anything" and the manager chimed in and told us that if we don't have anything nice to say to the employees that we can just leave. I have never in my life been talked to like that. I am a paying customer and to have a manager talk to me like that is so rude. I could have been yelling at her, and she should have not said anything. A manger should not have chimed in at all, it was completely unprofessional and not necessary. I ended up leaving, without paying for the meals I was going to, to take my business elsewhere. I understand that there is nothing to be done about not receiving a shipment, but there are ways to handle it, and talking to a customer like she did to us, on top of being out of most of the menu is horrible.
