Complement your peanuts, peanut butter, banana, bacon, milkshake, and some greasy hand cut Regular Fries

Quick night dinner grab nothing special. It was OK not a whole lot to talk about although the milkshake was pretty delicious with the peanut butter, bacon and banana stir in yummy yummy

Great French fries and sandwiches! They sure make a lot of fries! (See photo) They provode free peanuts which is nice. Kinda old school and different. Food is extremely greasy and they take a while to serve you up. But I'd say it's worth the wait

My teenage son and I go here every now and then for their great sandwiches and awesome fries. It's a fun eating atmosphere, too.

Wet cold mushy.... Sad. I was expecting a delicious burger for that price. Unfortunately I was disappointed.

Great burgers and phenomenal fries. Love the portions. Even I could barely finish one order of fries myself.

Made a trip down to Oregon City to visit a friend and stopped by Mikes drive in because she wanted…read moreto get a pumpkin shake. It gives old school drive in vibes and the prices are pretty reasonable. Our service was good and the food came out fairly quickly. We sat inside and they brought the order to our table. As far as food, I don't think there was anything bad about it, but I also don't know if there is anything special about it either. Overall would come back if I was in the area, but don't think I would go out of my way for it.

I've wanted to like Mike's Drive-In because it's a local institution, but after years of visiting,…read morethey still seem to have the same recurring problem: they can't consistently get a simple custom order right. Yesterday I stopped in with my daughter and her best friend for Sunday lunch before a movie. We ordered three burger baskets and three milkshakes, and the bill was nearly $60, which is about what I'd expect these days. At that price, though, I also expect accuracy. Ordering wasn't complicated, yet we stood at the register for around 10 minutes while the cashier struggled to enter the order. The only customization on my burger was a double cheeseburger with two slices of American cheese on each patty (four slices total), bacon, and extra vegetables. I've had problems here before with them substituting cheddar instead of American cheese, and unfortunately it happened again. When my burger arrived, it had only one slice of cheese and the extra vegetables were missing. The bun was barely toasted and appeared to have been run through a conveyor toaster instead of being grilled on the flat top. The fries were ordinary frozen fries, and the tater tots weren't anything memorable either. To be fair, they have improved one thing over the years by switching to fresh beef, and that's a noticeable step up. The burger has the potential to be very good if the kitchen paid closer attention to the details. Since we were hungry and on our way to a movie, I didn't ask for the burger to be remade. I simply showed it to the employee at the counter and explained that it wasn't what I ordered. She asked if I wanted it remade, but because we were short on time I asked if they could instead provide a gift card for a future visit. After we finished eating, she told me she'd spoken with the manager, who was working the grill. Their solution was to offer me a $1 gift card. A one-dollar gesture on a nearly $60 order after serving the wrong burger doesn't communicate that customer satisfaction matters. Mistakes happen. What keeps customers coming back is how those mistakes are handled. I genuinely want to support local businesses, but after repeatedly receiving the wrong cheese on my burger and then being offered a $1 gift card to make it right, I left disappointed. I hope management focuses not only on food quality but also on order accuracy and customer service. I'm not suggesting that people shouldn't go to Mike's. This is an attempt to help them improve their business and the experience that I have next time. Thanks for listening.

Staff was cleaning as they went along. Service was okay. Staff wasnt as welcoming as we felt but our drinks were topped off and we didnt need anything. Menu is a good variety so that was nice having options. We called ahead because we couldn't find the childrens menu and they let us know that they did have one so thats a plus since most establishments dont bother posting their kid's menu. Food was okay. My husband got the ozz sandwhich and it looked good but it was wetter than he anticipated. We learned i like rye bread though, so thats a plus. I ordered the sliders with a side of beer mac but the portion sizes was smaller than I thought it would be? I misread or misinterpreted as hawaiian rolls as in buns but not as in dinner rolls. The beer cheese mac was thick. It was good but had a cloying type of consistency. Tots and fries were good. The kid's chicken tenders and fries were just that. Chicken tenders and fries, so no surprise there. Overall for 2 meals, 1 kids, and 2 sodas, we paid about $60. A bit higher than we guessed for a bar but we enjoy supporting local when we can especially when we know they're active in the community.

Review: Legit Smashburgers and a Gem of an Atmosphere!…read moreRating: We had a fantastic Saturday night at Poundtown Smashburger! The cart is perfectly situated at the end of the pod near a cozy outdoor heater, which was exactly what we needed for a chilly January evening. As the wife of a "social media burger celebrity," I can confirm these are legit smashburgers. For those who don't know, a proper smashburger isn't just a flat patty; it's a ball of fresh beef smashed once onto a screaming-hot griddle to trigger the Maillard reaction. This creates those signature "lacey" crispy edges and a deep caramelized crust while locking all the juices in the center. Our order was spot on: Double Smash with Bacon and Jalapeño: Perfectly seasoned with that aggressive sear we look for. OG Burgers: At $4.00, these are an absolute steal in 2026. No customizations needed--they are perfect as-is. The Bun: A major standout! It was a soft, locally sourced brioche that held up beautifully to the juicy patties without getting soggy. Beyond the food, the atmosphere at The Beer Library is incredible. The renovation of the old library is stunning--it's modern and cozy with a fantastic selection of brews. It truly feels like a neighborhood gem. All in all, a great experience and great service --we will definitely be back!

Service was friendly and I got all my food within 10 minutes. Overall very solid. Got a double smash burger and a crispy chicken sandwich. Recommend the chicken over the burger per my personal preference. These burgers and sandwiches are extremely messy so take that into consideration when picking toppings. All the toppings are free which is a nice option. Got the smashed sauce and the firebird both were fine but if I was ever back in the area would change up the sauce to see if I find a better combination!

But I was in town with some time to kill, so naturally this was my lunch choice, and it did not disappoint. The ambiance of the place really sets the tone, and those coney dogs with meat sauce and onions just hit the spot perfectly. Nothing has changed in 40 years, save the price maybe. They still give you a card from a standard deck of cards to represent your order number when your food is ready. In my humble fat man's opinion, this very well could be the best coney dog west of the Mississippi. Prost!

We also got a junior burger to try I thought it was good to the extent that it was also soggy because of the watery sauce. Otherwise the burger was good I'd order without the sauce. The decor is giving retro, I thought it was fun and I loved reading the story of the owner getting a loan for a friend they named a burger after "Rich Boy" 2 short Coney Island 1 junior burger 1 platter of fries 1 large Diet Coke Paid just under $21

We first chose the high seats and then moved to a lower table. The server was nice and attentive. I went in with the notion of ordering fish and chips or some sort of seafood; however, I was enticed by the prime rib, as I did not care for the type of fish they had available. I ordered the prime rib (med-well) with mashed potatoes and veggies. My friend ordered the fish and onion rings. I also ordered jalapeno hushpuppies. My friend really enjoyed her fish and onion rings. She was going to take some home for dinner, but there was nothing left to take home. My prime rib was over-heated and came out well-done and dry. I ate around the edges and picked at the potatoes. The first batch of hushpuppies that came out was still raw. The server said we were lucky cause we got a free mini corn dog. I thought we were until I ate it, and half of it was still frozen. The server took the hushpuppies back, and they cooked them a little longer. They were fully cooked when she brought them back, but they were missing one key element. There was no hint of jalapenos. You could see green specks but could not taste them. If I am ever in the area again, I will come back and try something else.
