Outstanding burgers! So many ways to build your perfect burger. Choices of patty, buns and so many unexpected toppings to choose from. (Roasted red peppers, cucumbers and grilled onions? YES, PLEASE!) Server, was friendly, attentive, and the place was clean, quiet and relaxing. Nice casual dining experience read more

Good food, good service, and overall pleasant atmosphere and experience. Complimentary games as soon as you walk in for you to play while you wait for your food. Chalkboards along the back walls near the booths for drawing which is a nice touch, especially if you have kids. Would recommend eating here. read more

Everything went well, I ordered a grass fed burger with "sweet potato" Tater tots, Y U M! It was a bit pricey but it was delicious! I will be back! Service was very good as well, friendly/courteous staff!! (Take out) looks like a cool place to dine in though! read more

Burgers are good. Fried okra is cooked well and is crispy, not a soggy lump. The onion rings are good. Don't expect a 5 minute food delivery. This is a restaurant, not a fast food drive thru. read more

. After a rough start during the early days of COVID, this pace has straightened-out and is running well. Caveat: Avoid the "SmithBurger" & order a regular burger. SmithBurger is awfully greasy. O-rings & fries have been very good recently. Options lists for burgers are way too long, can be confusing. Prices are approaching top of "tolerable" range, even for us. Plenty parking, no shade. Men's room has peculiar stainless lavatory/washbasin, which splashes all over, so don't stand too close. We dine here a couple times a month. This place is much better than any of its nearby competitors. . read more

Amazing service as always! Panda always has a great attitude and is so attentive to the table! My only complaint would be the temperature inside, it was very uncomfortable, especially eating hot food in a warm room. read more

We ordered 2 burgers, fried green beans and fried okra. All the food was great as usual. We usually order in the restaurant and eat in. This time we ordered online for take out. The website said 30 minutes. No big deal figured they must have been busy with LSU first pitch happening soon. I arrived maybe 5 minutes before the food was scheduled to be ready. The place was empty. The food was warm and but not hot. I think the burgers might have set about 10-15 minutes before I picked them up. I believe the to-go timing might need to be adjusted. Next time I order To-go, I will get there about 10-15 minutes early and wait if needed. Otherwise staff was friendly as usual and the restaurant was clean with the game playing in the TV. read more

I placed an online order and received email confirmation. When I arrived I was told there was no order for me, the order did not come through, etc. I showed my email confirmation. The person (I think Panda) who waited on me was very nice, told me they would rush the order through. When it was ready she comped me because she did verify that my order had been placed. Very nice person. Strike 2 was getting home and discovering that my turkey burger was actually beef. Strike 3 was the amount of red pepper on the fries- I like hot but this was off the chain. I won't be back. read more

service is terrible waited an hour or longer for a couple burgers. place is not even that busy. not good burgersmith not good.

Probably the worst burgersmith in the country. Every time you order online it takes over 30 minutes just to confirm order. Once you get there it's the same story every time, we are having trouble with machine we can start on your order now, despite having 3 people in whole store. Worker coming to help with order smelt like a bag of weed. I do not recommend this place. read more

We love a good burger so tried this place on a whim. We got there a bit early on a Saturday night and were promptly greeted and seated. Waitress was friendly and made some requested recommendations but was not so pushy as to feel like we had to order what she recommended. She provided good service the whole time. Husband got the brisket burger with cheese on a white bun. I got the organic grass fed (or whatever the menu called it) on a pretzel bun. Both cooked medium. Split a large order of butter garlic fries. We were not disappointed. Next time we will probably let them cook the burgers med well (their default) because both of our bottom buns were a little too "wet" but the meat had good flavor and toppings were top notch. And those fries!!! I'm planning a day when I can just get fries and ice cream! Things we liked: family friendly (bar available but did not have to sit near it), casual atmosphere, nice selection but not huge menu, burger could be salt and pepper or "Louisiana style" with what I assume would be cayenne. Those fries!!! Things we would do differently: Plastic over Paper straws. Lighten up on the condiments and/or drain the meat a bit. Not sure why the bottom buns were so "wet". A tad more salt and pepper on the meat. Overall we were happy to find a nice burger and fry place with some variety and not too far from home. read more

Great burger. Service great and great atmosphere. Keep up the great work! That is what keeps people coming back!

Have had mixed experiences at this location previously, so I decided to give it another shot and I'm glad that I did. The Smith burger was cooked perfectly and was delicious, as well as the loaded fries. Service was also good. Will be back soon. read more

Food is very subpar. My food always seems to come to the table cold and normally when i inform the manager about this they just microwave the food. You can't microwave fries it makes them soggy and gross. Then at that point the microwaved burger gets very over cooked and isn't the way i originally ordered it. Idk do what you will with this information. I won't be back. Too many chances given. read more

Great burger. Prisicilla and Blair were amazing, food and service was incredible. Nothing bad to say just a wonderful experience. They work the restaurant alone and took care of everyone's needs like professionals. Definitely recommend, will be coming back. read more

One of the best burgers I've ever had. I got the fillet burger, my hubby the brisket burger and we loved both! Great flavor and you can tell a lot of attention has been paid to the craftsmanship. Highly recommend the onion rings, cheese fries (real cheese and jalapeños) and the fried okra with the house Cajun ranch. So good!!! We'll be back! read more

Service was great. Waitress was attentive and had a great sense of humor. My Buffalo burger was very good. Flavor was on point bun was fresh and soft and egg was perfectly cookies. But I tried adding to many toppings. With the addition of the egg, bacon and sauteed mushrooms the burger started falling apart. But all my fault burger would have been just as good with out my additions. read more

The butter garlic fries had great flavor, but we didn't get the smith fries we ordered. Asked for the burgers to be cooked medium. My hubby took a bite and it looked good so unfortunately I just started eating & then finally looked and saw it was rare. I'm giving 3 stars because the fries had good flavor, and my husband said it looked really nice inside and the staff was friendly. read more

Well, I have to breakdown the rating: Food was a 5. Although the fries had a whopping amount of salt. I did not stop eating the fries till they were gone. Butter and garlic fries, a must. Bun on the burger was outstanding and is in competition with another elite burger eatery. We just had the regular hamburger. Magnific! Now a 3 overall was contemplated due to 20 min pickup time was told to us. Not bad right but I waited an additional 20 minutes so it was 40 minutes total. Although it was worth the wait I, as a customer expect some communication to prepare and would have understood. When I arrived there were 5 people waiting ahead of me which was not a good sign. The fella behind the bar gave off a pleasant aura so it was hard to be upset. Still communicate more to the customer. Be happy! read more

Let me start by telling you I had less than a perfect experience. My burger was absolutely cooked to perfection. The fries on the other hand where cold. I finished the burger and my server asked how everything was and I answered honestly, my expectations being another 3 star review. I wouldn't stay and eat hot fries with burger gone. Almost immediately the manager came to me with a sincere apology and did all in his power to right the ship. The true concern he showed to salvage a guest was impressive. Any business that cares that much about the guest experience striving to make the experience right gets my vote. I didn't complain loud never asked for anything and the team here made me want to come back to support the business. I am capable of 1-5 star reviews the concern for the guest had this team EARN every star from me. Thank You for salvaging my evening! read more

This was my very first time here and the food was amazing 10/10 recommend for any date or friends night out and ask for Megan!!

Trust me, NO. Overpriced plain burgers and horrible management at both locations. The cooks do not pay attention to the tickets either so good luck modifying anything. read more

The hamburger I got was quite bland and disappointing. The garlic fries were really good though. Service was also great, but I probably will not be back. read more

This place has been a disappointment all three times for me. Service is McDonald's level at its best each time we had to wait to be seated longer than any usual hamburger joint. service takes forever, if they ever come back around the back to check on you. not a place I'll go again. I don't look for them to be in business long. The food is better at sonic. read more

I have been eating in Burgersmith restaurants since they opened in the lafayette area. I had never been to the Broussard location so I was hoping it would live up to the expectations I had walking in. Everything was just as I expected it to be. Burger was cooked perfectly and the taste was what it should have been. Most importantly the fries were amazing, fresh, well seasoned, hot, and perfect. Fries matter!!! Good job tonight guys! read more

Our first visit and it did not disappoint. We loved the garlic butter fries on the side and our burgers as well. Come try them out! We'll definitely be back. read more

Great Burger! I had the filet burger and it was delicious! Fried green beans were goo also.

the location in Lafayette is better food wise. Also no one wants to eat somewhere that you can hear the manager yelling at servers/cooks etc. Very unprofessional and I won't be back. If y'all have a high turn over rate it's pretty obvious why. read more

My family and I ate here tonight and it was wonderful! Jessica was an awesome server and very attentive. We had the bison burger, filet burger, turkey burger, and salad and all were delicious. Can't wait to come back! read more

First time being here. Looked like a pretty cool place to be and was super excited ! It's a Friday night and they aren't too busy but a good bit of families in here. But no one was at the door to great us and we had to seat ourselves but decided to go to the bar where another server was talking with the bartender. She asked us can she help us and we said we would like to order Togo and she said the bartender will be right with us. Bartender( Courtney ) .. NEEDS to learn to have a personality ! Seems rude. Doesn't talk or interact with the customer. Maybe put a smile on your face. When you have good service , you will come back to a restaurant regardless of the food. From the service we had tonight and the atmosphere and vibes from the other employees , I'll pass on coming back to this place. Hope y'all do better. read more

I've had the Smithburger medium with lettuce and tomato three times now and each time it's been moist, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I believe it's a bargain compared to "fat" premium burgers at other restaurants. Onion rings, chili, and happy hour old fashioned are also first rate. Add the friendly service and Burgersmith in Broussard is hard to beat. read more

Great service, DELICIOUS food & awesome local beer selection! Clean facility with staff members following necessary precautions for Covid-19. Even while an obviously large baseball tournament had them super busy a staff member, Zach, served me & was extremely helpful! He had such patience with me as I am an indecisive person when it comes to beer. I can't say enough good things! read more

Cheese fries were the best! The burgers were good and the staff was fabulous. I'm not sure if the water is filtered... it had a strange thickness to it. We're from out of state so maybe this is normal to the locals but it's certainly weird tasting. Even when ordering sodas, it was still present... maybe due to the ice. Strange! read more

Friendly waitstaff and food is always delicious. Thank you for adding Burgersmith to the Broussard location.

Placed an order online. Wife drove to the location only to be told that they had shut down online ordering for the evening due to high volume and our money would be refunded. Did not receive a notification via text or email. Will not be going back due to poor planning on their part. read more

Just had lunch with my son, we were in a hurry so I ordered for him before he got there at 12:05. At 12:45 I flagged down the waitress to put his in a togo box because he had to get back to work for 1:00. Se brought his and he left. 5 minutes later served me my burger and his fries. She did not have his fries in his togo box and did not say anything. Last is they charged me $2.75 fir a refill that I did not ask for. She said the kitchen was behind but there was only 20-25 people in the restaurant. Food was good though. read more

I ordered a hamburger from the one in Broussard tonight. It took about 18 minutes for them to complete my order but that is not what upset me. I went into the restaurant to pick up my order and waited there for over seven minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. Three or four employees walked right by and looked at me and never even said a word. I looked down the hallway and they were all gathered around the door to where I can only guess was the managers office. I know times are different right now but you should at least acknowledge a customer when they come in the door. Even just to say I'll be right with you is better than saying nothing at all. I will not be back to this particular one because of this. read more
