Every time I come here they get my sandwich wrong I don't understand . First they forgot 2 toppings I asked for . Second time got my bread completely wrong then verified my order incorrectly repeating back to me things I didn't say after telling them twice exactly what I wanted I don't understand . read more

I love their sandwiches but it was quite off putting hearing one of the employees complain about my order being aggravating, just because I requested that pickles & bananas peppers be put on the side. I live 30 minutes from the location and our sandwiches get soggy if we put a bunch of wet ingredients on them before we get home. The girl literally talked smack the entire time she made my sandwich, as if I wasn't sitting right in front of her. " Do they want the meat on the side too?!" No, ma'am, I would like you to make the sandwich how I requested it, especially since getting stuff on the side is an option on YOUR app. Also, if you're going to be rude the entire time a customer is sitting within earshot, at least make the sandwich correctly. You forgot to put cheese on it, and I'm convinced your error occurred because you were running your mouth and not focused in your job. 11:40 on a Tuesday, lunchtime with a restaurant full of customers. Terrible behavior. read more

Firehouse Subs - the inside of a restaurant - Fast Food Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

Ordered a grilled chicken salad. Wasn't very impressed with the look of it but it tasted fresh. I was satisfied with my order.

Service: It was good. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Restaurant: it was clean. Food: it all was tasty. The smoked Turkey was surprisingly very flavorful and the wheat bread was excellent. The side salad is impressive compared to other restaurants side salads and the peppercorn ranch was delicious. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for years to compare to other sandwich spots. This place is definitely catered to the male variety. As soon as I walked in I saw nothing but guys. I'm sure it is due to the fact that firehouse was created by a fireman. I noticed immediately that I wouldn't be able to see them make my sandwich so that was different than what I'm used to. I ordered a veggie sandwich and I must say I enjoyed it. The melted cheese on top of mushrooms and the other fresh veggies tasted amazing. The staff was diligent in bringing our order to us. I would try again if I was in the area. read more

Excellent sandwiches. Good value. Would recommend to anyone. Variety of choices. The food is very tasty!

I have this place another chance and they failed again. Asked for Pepperocinis in my NY Steamer sandwich and it came without pepperocinis and without the mustard it has in the menu description. All that I could detect was meat cheese and Mayo. It's shocking this place still exists here. read more

Far better then Subway,Jason's Deli and especially Jimmy John's. Store is always appears to be clean and the service is better.

The subs were awesome! Great seasoning and sauce. The small size was actually very filling. We enjoyed chili and mac&cheese. This was a perfect light dinner. read more

This is one of those places that has really good food but things like customer service leave a lot to be desired. Some call it expensive but I don't think the prices are too bad for what you get - the ingredients are definitely of a better quality and more plentiful than Subway for example. While customer service is nice, it's not the fastest or most competent. An employee took my entire order wrong but the manager made sure it was corrected and my additional bacon was on the house. They did forget the pickle spear and I made a big deal about having a pickle so that sucked. Anyway, each visit I got smoked brisket with cheddar + bacon. It's so SO good and a very filling meal. I got to taste the veggie sandwich as well which was really good too because they cook down the veggies a lot and it's cheesy. It's worth trying but be warned that this location is slow. read more

Waited 30 minutes for a Hero sandwich and a tea. Walked out without a sandwich and tea after the manager could not even figure out how to give a refund. Do not eat here if you are in a hurry. Now I have to stop and eat at another place and be home in Dallas aftermidnight read more

This place was my go to place for a couple of years until changed jobs and relocated. Just came back to the area and popped in for what used to be my favorite.. steak and cheese. But I was surprisingly disappointed, the steak sandwich seemed excessively salty and mushy, and the bread barely toasted. The folks behind the counter used to be very energetic and looked happy to be there, but not this time. Hopefully this was an anomaly and my next visit will restore my cravings for the great food that I know can come from here. read more

Firehouse Subs - Watching college football and grabbing lunch - Fast Food Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

Are you guys serious about this?! I ordered a small and medium sub and the small is only 4" long! I've had small in the restaurant so I figured a to-go order shouldn't be different, but no. Instead your staff wraps it up 5 times in think paper fairly loosely to give the appearance on a regular small sub. For everyone who orders through Waitr (DON'T DO IT!) you might get screwed and drive halfway across town and back before you notice. Totally disappointed right now. read more

Firehouse Subs - I ordered a small and medium sub and the small is only 4" long... wow. Pathetic! - Fast Food Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

First, the guy who runs this place really used to be a fireman. That's pretty cool. Personally, I worry about spontaneously combusting, so this is an extra comfort. I rarely go to a place that specializes in sandwiches. I never find anything I want. I just order, make do and hope to leave ASAP. My wife had been here. It was her car & she was driving. So, there I was for the first time. My expectation was mediocrity. I remember the next moment like the birth of my first child. I saw the words - corned beef - pastrami. Was I in the sandwich line in heaven? I heart rate increased. My breathing quickened. These geniuses put my two favorite types of meat and provolone, the only cheese I like (except for cheesecake) on a sub. It's like they knew I was coming in. My wife was amazing and super hot at that moment. "I love you," I said. "I love you too," she replied. I was talking to the picture of the sandwich. I didn't correct her and she will never read this. I can say this one sandwich, the New York Steamer is great. I never order subs. I would actually plan to go to Firehouse for this. I was there yesterday, 4-3-17 and had this sub. I should try the others. This is simply so good. 120 Beverage Choices - The beverage machine is very high tech, I feel like I'm piloting the space shuttle. Most places have the usual choices. One or two diet drinks and the rest made with high fructose corn syrup. They have a great selection. I had diet peach Fanta. It was crazy good. I've never seen this anywhere else. I recommend this place highly. If you're a sandwich person you will love it. If you're not, you will probably love it as well. read more

This place is simply amazing. They have super fast service and their sandwiches can't be beat by anyone else out there who serves sandwiches!!! The firehouse hero added with jalapeños and peppercorn ranch my Husband and I order it almost every week. I enjoy going to Firehouse Subs. The food is good. Just tried one of the salads and it was so good and filling. The staff is always welcoming. I like the fact that it gives back to firemen read more

I like this place because the sandwiches are fully cooked, hot, and packed with meat and flavor. The sides are chips and they have the Coke remix machine here as well. This place gets pretty packed during work hour lunchtime, so try to avoid coming here during those times. The average price is around $10.00, but it's worth it. To sum it up, a Subway sandwich is good for a nice little quick lunch, but Firehouse Sub is best for real cooked supper. read more

Overall food was ok but the restaurant was dirty, self serve trashcan was overflowing and tables hadn't been wiped off. Meanwhile you have 3-4 employees just standing around when they could be cleaning. Also all I ordered was a club sandwich with chips and it took about 10-15 minutes with only 4 customers in the store. Seems a little slow. Could be a good place but looked to be on the decline and needs better management. read more

Since this place has opened I've been here 8 different times! Needless to say, I'm addicted! I go between the steamer, the hero, and the brisket. Each of them are phenomenal!! Mr. Terry Castille, the owner, is a very hands on and personable gentleman! The service is outstanding as well. read more

I have been waiting for years for Lafayette to finally get a firehouse and that day has come. Kick Quiznos and Subway to the curb, these sandwiches are so much better. My favorite is the Hero but I love the Italian as well. The steak and peppers is great too. The meatball looks good, I might have to try it next time. The hook and ladder is great too. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy a sandwich from Firehouse, you will love it. read more

Excellent food and service. My stomach is happy. The one star missing is for the missing parking for our honorable Firetruck full of hungry firemen that I saw visiting this restaurant while I myself came in for lunch. They wound up parking by the dumpsters like some unneeded outcasts. To me that's a sad sight to see, especially given the fact that this restaurant is named, internally designed, and even slightly filled with benign smoke to honor our firemen. read more

Stopped in around 8pm. The girl had a trainee with her. They were filling the ice machine. Everything was going well until the trainer picked up the ice bucket and laid that dirty ass container on top of the ice and was trying to flatten it. I dont know if they train these people on sanitation but, now... the trainee has already picked up a bad habit. I dare anyone to bug me about bringing my own sodas in these restaurants. read more

It's not often that I'll take the time to write a review for anyone. Wanted to try this place out after seeing a very appealing picture of a meatball sub on the internet. Placed an order around 8PM(Order # 52194) for Two subs for a co-worker and I and she went to pick them up. I requested a pepperoni and meatball sub. I received an overly sweet and semi spicy meatball sub. No big deal mistakes happen. I called up and the most inept person at customer service answers the phone. Within 5 seconds of explaining my situation he said "Here's my manager". Explaining my situation for a second she seemed to care very little about my complaint. Advised I speak to the owner tomorrow. I guess since I started this I'll drive up there tomorrow and see it through. Maybe the food is usually good. Maybe the service is usually good. But today, it was not. read more

Every firehouse i find is the same. Its always good. The variety of sauces is great. Kinda feel like I've eaten a cow after a large sub.

Wonderful meal but not what we ordered. Saturday afternoon; not busy. Ordered 2 subs to go. The cashier seemed confused by my request that both be fully dressed. A couple who ordered after me got their 2 subs and I was still waiting for mine. After a worker asked another worker about my sandwiches, I learned that they my order was forgotten. So, I finally get get my subs, make it to my destination, open the bag, and discover no napkins in the bag. Gee whiz! How does one eat a sub without napkins? Well, we managed to pull it off but it wasn't easy. Meanwhile, the big disappointment was that we had the wrong sandwiches. I had already lost 30 minutes to getting the subs and didn't feel like spending another 30 minutes making it right. Besides, while I was there, I heard the manager on the phone apologizing to a customer whose order was wrong, so that helped to further discourage me from making a return trip. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, and I might have been able to overlook the mixup had my order not been forgotten, had napkins not been forgotten, had service been faster, had the cashier understood my order, and had there already not been a similar mistake for another customer. read more

I usually like this place, but not up to par for lunch today. Slow. Tea was terrible. Not clean. Trashcans overflowing. Servers were indifferent and not friendly. No one seemed to be in charge. Sandwich was fine, pickle soggy. read more

Not friendly at all. Did not greet me or thank me. The cashier acted like she didn't want to be there.

We placed an online order for pickup at 11.10am. I arrived at 11.25. I did not get my first sandwich until 11.45. I didn't get the second one until 11.55. I didn't get the third one until 12.05. And the third one was waiting at the register when the other two were given to me by the expediter and the cashier was holding it until she got the other 2. They were overwhelmed, understaffed, and all around clueless. The poor woman I was sitting down and sharing a table with had been waiting for an HOUR for her ONE SANDWICH.When I was leaving, I asked the cashier where my new friend's food was and she got all shell shocked and bumbly. When I left, my new friend had STILL not received her food. Nope. Nope Nope. The sandwiches were not worth all that. read more
