So because of what they did for some of the employees I decided to stop in and pick up breakfast. I purchased the pancakes with scrambled eggs. To my surprise the pancakes were actually really good and the scrambled eggs were okay also. What really impressed me about this location was the staff. They were friendly, efficient, fast and the food I ordered was really good. I don't know who the manager who was working on this particular day. But the crew that was working worked as a well-oiled machine. I will make it a point to come back to this location in the future. More because of the staff, then the food in all honesty.

Not exactly cheap, but that's just about what lunch costs these days. There was a bit of a wait, but I'd rather wait a few extra minutes and get food that's fresh. The staff was aware of the wait and actually acknowledged it, apologizing in a genuine and friendly way. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Everything came out hot and tasted like it had just been made. The chicken was crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and the portions were generous. The fries were hot and crispy with that soft center you want. Even the sodas were mixed well and tasted great. After being on the road all morning, it really hit the spot. The price stung a little, but the food was fresh, the service was excellent, and overall it felt worth it.

I like spicy food, but the extra hot was all spice with no flavor to speak of. I also had the loaded fries which was the absolute worst thing I tried, it was a jumbled up mess. It was as if they took a whole bunch of stuff & slapped it together with no regards to who the flavors or textures complemented each other. The regular hot slider is the only thing I tried that saved this review from being a 1 star. I give it 3 stars on the strength of that alone, the rest needs major work.

A customer walked up to the counter asking for a refund because the kiosk had promised him drinks that apparently did not exist in this universe. He had ordered several, so naturally he wanted his money back. But then things took a turn. The manager told him he couldn't help since the order was placed at the kiosk. When the customer asked if he could at least get some food instead of the missing drinks, the manager said he couldn't give him his money back or swap it out for a $3 meal item because--wait for it--"he would lose money." So instead of the three large milkshakes the man ordered, the manager offered him... icy drinks. Not quite the same vibe. By the time our food arrived, the whole situation felt like a plot twist no one asked for. Honestly, the experience was memorable--but not in the way the restaurant was probably hoping.

The girl proceeded to check the bag to verify the nuggets were not in the bag as if I were trying to get steal an extra order of nuggets. She retrieved the nuggets and apologized. We dined in on a Friday night and although the place was a little shabby and under-staffed, the wings were dripping with flavor and heat. The wing flavors we ordered were Sum Nasty, Buffalo, KK and TLC--all were delicious but we enjoyed the last two the most! That said, although the food was hot and delicious, there was a 30 min wait time in an otherwise empty restaurant. I also have to mention that the place could use a little tune-up--even with all the dim lighting, it's easy to see that there was not much cleaning or renovations done to make this establishment look presentable. It's clear that KOK's building used to be a German beer hall and not much restoration has been done to gut out the place and make it more appealing to diners. I also think that the wing sauces should feature a description of all the unique flavor variations so that customers understand what they are ordering. With all that in mind, I would still order takeout from this place because the wings are solid and the portion sizes are huge. I'm also excited to try their other menu items like the Southwest egg rolls or the mozzarella sticks. 6/10 I recommend getting takeout or hitting up Ubereats!
