While my husband and I were patiently waiting for our order, we ended up getting front-row seats to the most unexpected drama of the evening. A customer walked up to the counter asking for a refund because the kiosk had promised him drinks that apparently did not exist in this universe. He had ordered several, so naturally he wanted his money back. But then things took a turn. The manager told him he couldn't help since the order was placed at the kiosk. When the customer asked if he could at least get some food instead of the missing drinks, the manager said he couldn't give him his money back or swap it out for a $3 meal item because--wait for it--"he would lose money." So instead of the three large milkshakes the man ordered, the manager offered him... icy drinks. Not quite the same vibe. Stopped by this restaurant for breakfast while traveling. I almost decided to leave. Outside there was trash near the door entrance. Walked into the women's bathroom and it was clear that no one had cleaned it probably since the day before. I was there at 8am getting breakfast. This McDonald's has very bad customer service. First of all, they take forever to process Door Dash orders and when they hand it to you there's no "Thank You" or "Have a Nice Day". Also, how come they don't have the order ready for when you arrive? You have to wait 20 or 30 minutes for the order to be ready which is an inconvenience for both the driver and the customer. This McDonald's will not pass the DoorDash pickup order to you via the drive thru, they claim that you have to come inside to pick it up but when you try to come in, the lobby door is locked!! The lobby hours are from 5-11 pm so why was it closed at 9:30?! This happens everytime I get an order for this McDonald's, I have issues getting through the front door but yet they require that I get out and come in to pick up a Doordash order. So somehow 6 months later we are driving thru back to Houston and somehow decide to stop at this same McDonalds I reviewed. Went thru the drive thru - took 20 minutes. I'm talking from ordering to actually getting our food. They are still slow. Maybe you guys can get your staff to say words instead of just taking money and giving food. You might as well get a robot arm to had out the food and an external swipe and pay. Oh by the way thanks guys for putting napkins in the bag... like that's just a sad minimum. If your management staff have not fixed this problem and it's been 6 months they should not be managing anything. Welp hopefully I don't forget next time and stop here. They are not polite! Today the girl taking the orders was rude, and when I picked up my order , no thank You no nothing! The girl taking the order never said welcome nor thank you. What a horrible experience the provided. As me and my family were on our way back to Texas we stopped for food. We place a fairly large order $47.41. The young lady who took the order did a pretty good job no complaints. They forgot to give us a receipt that's just for starters. Once we got our bags we noticed that a whole 10 piece meal was missing and a large fry. The what appeared to be manager first says we didn't order it. Then once she got the receipt she said she put it in the bag (lying of course) with an attitude. Then once I explained she acted as if she couldn't comprehend. She wanted to charge me for another meal we never received (silly rabbit). I completely understand mistakes being made but to have an attitude, be rude, and nasty about your teams mistake is crazy. We stopped here after a very stressful softball game. We came in expecting to be at least treated with a tad bit of decency, but we couldn't even receive that. We could tell they were already in a bad mood before we ordered, but the way they blatantly ignored us was absolutely absurd. The guy who took my order mumbled barely even saying audible words, then proceeded to have an attitude when i asked for him to repeat himself. We dined in, they wouldn't even call out our order numbers!! When we tried to ask for more sauce they didn't even glance in our direction. Then we sit to enjoy the meal we patiently waited 30 minutes for, TERRIBLE! The restaurant itself was disgusting from the floor on up. Don't even get me started on the smell. Reeking of rotten fish and other unknown smells. Food wasn't even cooked. Immediately had a stomach ache after taking one bite. Then one of the workers had the AUDACITY to hit on a 15 year old player. Disgusting. They locked the lobby doors hours before closing time. People trying to come in, we would have opened the door, but we didn't want other people to have to experience what we just did. I wouldn't recommend this so called fast food place to ANYONE. This McDonald's sucks. I went there before and I asked for a chocolate shake. They didn't have that. Then, I asked for a strawberry shake. Didn't have that either. THEN, I asked for a mocha frappe. They sure as hell didn't have that. So I finally settled for a caramel frappe. It's like, what do they actually have that's supposed to be on the menu!? Waited 20 minutes for a cup of coffee. 10 people waiting for orders inside, 12 cars lined up in drive thru. All while regional director holding staff meeting in dining room. Bells ringing, people not greeted, customers coming inside from drive thru asking about what the heck is the hold up, and the manager continued thru talking about how many and what color gloves to wear while prepping food. While eaiting we watched as more than 5 cars recieved their food before us. We ordered to go and waited more than 10 minutes at which I kindly aske she manager (who had not been present this whole time) how much longer it would be for our food. She then yelled at the cook to get her an egg mcmuffic which was what we had ordered and why it hadn't been prepared I'm still wondering. She then went to drop hash browns, which again after standing there for 10 minutes you would have thought hash browns would have been dropped before then. After this point I ask again ma'am do you have a time on our wait to which she responded rudely I was gunna tell you that there is a 2 1/2 minute wait on hashbrowns to which our response was we need a full refund. I have never in my life been treated so poorly. I went down the road and was served quicker and without the rudeness. McDonald's has always been a family place and to have such a nice McDonald's in a nice shopping area with managers who don't care to treat customers with decency and respect for their job ruined the entire store. read more
