I have been to 420 breweries across the country including most of the ones on all the best breweries in the country list and Parish has my favorite beer, Ghost in the Machine. Ghost and all its variations and collaborations cannot be beat for hopheads like me. Parish could only make Ghost, and it would still be a 5-star brewery but there is so much more. Their limited-edition dessert stouts are fantastic, Canebrake is the perfect "everyday drinker", and their other hazies like Bloom and Atticus are phenomenal.

They're also leaving out the part where people from their group marched in and seated themselves, stood over occupied tables waiting for guests to leave, insisting the hosts clean the tables, and made the entire restaurant uncomfortable. This had nothing to do with race and everything to do with behavior. Any group acting like that would've gotten the exact same response. In short, do better. The catfish filet was small and tasted like it was previously frozen. The shrimp were also small and didn't taste much better. Not sure I'd return if ever in Lafayette, as I was really looking for a more festive environment and more grilled options.
