So I give a lot of credit to them and not so much the building at The Madison. I've seen thousands of weddings and this place doesn't wow you like some places. There is just too much wood going on here for my tastes. Hardwood floors and wood paneling! The prices are very reasonable here though so that is an important factor when shopping around for a reception hall.

I booked this venue for my 75 person wedding, I think this was the perfect size venue for a smaller…read moreto about 100 person wedding. They do offer the upstairs to be opened up, but I kept mine closed off to keep it private for the bridal party. I think the price of the venue was reasonable and the open bar was reasonable priced also, on the lower-medium side of venues. They offer several free things (chair bows, outside tables) and several things to rent (e.g arch, photobooth, linens, pub tables) They are quick to respond to texts when you have questions. They aid in planning the order of events and general flow of the wedding and help set the reception up ONLY FOR TABLES, CHAIRS, CENTERPEICES, AND CANDLES. If you want plated or anything else have backup to help you. The week or two before the wedding you will have another meeting with them to go over the order of events and have sheets to fill out. I did my wedding very differently than how they usually run weddings. They were fine with that and worked with me, but I kind of felt like they wanted to push me into their routine. Inside there is a large event space where they hold monthly potlucks and a retail area selling works from local artists. Price points and mediums vary. There was a gorgeous coffee table made of a polished slice of tree root/stump selling for $900 to bird sculptures made of cutlery mounted on tree branches for $120. There were fabric pieces and paintings and a selection of soaps. The people were super friendly and offered coffee and told us about upcoming events in the area ... Apparently they have their own tiny house rental and there is a tiny house company just starting in town. If you're in Arnaudville, I highly recommend stopping by!
