Nicest manager and girl that took our order. She explained the different levels of spice. We ordered a medium and a hot slider. We love spicy so we can handle the hot. BUT then on to try the X tra hot. Had to sign a waiver ( no kidding). And WOW prepare to sweat a little but the flavor was really good. If you are brave and want to try Blazen Hot, then I suggest an ambulance on stand by. Lol. Honestly enjoyed the food and the sweet hospitality. Stop by and give them your business. read more

The regular hot slider is pretty good. Anything above that heat level isn't worth trying. I had 1 regular hot slider & 1 extra hot slider. I like spicy food, but the extra hot was all spice with no flavor to speak of. I also had the loaded fries which was the absolute worst thing I tried, it was a jumbled up mess. It was as if they took a whole bunch of stuff & slapped it together with no regards to who the flavors or textures complemented each other. The regular hot slider is the only thing I tried that saved this review from being a 1 star. I give it 3 stars on the strength of that alone, the rest needs major work. read more

The rubber chicken beckons you to try its food that is no joke. I really enjoyed the experience at Blazin' Hot Chicken. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable, encouraging me to start with a comfortable spice level but come back and try something new. Be aware that anything about Hot requires a waiver to sign and for good reason, it's not called Blazin' Hot for nothing. The chicken is incredible, well seasoned, moist and cooked perfectly. It's absolutely delicious topped with the house sauce and accompanied by the seasoned waffle fries. I started with Medium and as someone who has an affinity with spicy food, it wasn't that spicy but had a good kick to it. I will try Hot next time. The slider combo came with two sandwiches was decently portioned for the price. The fries were cooked well although they weren't all crispy as I had a few that were soft. The seasoning is a nice touch and something I would love to replicate at home and it pairs nicely with the chicken. I will definitely come back for more of this mouthwatering chicken and to climb the spice ladder. read more

Blazin' Hot Chicken - Combo #1, two medium chicken sliders, fries and dip - Chicken Shop Near Me - Lafayette, Louisiana

Food was so much better than what i was expecting. Absolutely delicious! Chicken is fried perfectly, i got mild and medium and felt like the medium was not too spicy at all. Ill probably try the hot next and i do not have a high spicy tolerance. Mac n cheese was gooey and cheesy. Fries were perfect and crispy. The loaded fries in general could be spilt by 2 people, same with the Crunchwrap. Almost didnt want to leave a review because i wanted to keep this as my best kept secret! What a gem of a place. I highly recommend! read more

Juicy and spicy chicken at this spot but I wish there was more chicken included in the other featured menu items. My fiancée ordered the chicken-and-fries combo and the heat level was definitely impressive for a small spot in Lafayette. That said, my mac and cheese quesadilla left much to be desired. There were too many carbs and not enough chicken included in the wrap, plus the dish lacked a sour or tangy veggie like coleslaw or kimchi to balance out the flavors. One thing I did enjoy was the delicious and creamy sauces included with all the entrees. The staff was also very attentive and the service was super quick. read more

They are supposed to close at 2AM on MONDAYS!!!!! we pulled up at 1:20 they were closed!!! Not only did they not make it clear they refused to speak to us in person to let us know. They ignored us!!! The chicken is great! Hot and fresh with the right amount of kick. The waffle fries came out cold, but the owner stopped by and made it right. Definitely coming back especially with their late hours. The blazing hot is delicious if you can handle the spice! read more

My family and I are just leaving Blazin Hot Chicken!! We found the place through a Facebook Lafayette food group. We loved everything about it! The tenders were huge and you could pick your own spice level, there was, country (no spice), mild, medium, hot, and the next three required you to sign a waiver before eating. My husband and 13 year old son had the 3 tender combo and both chose hot seasoning. It started out mild but they said the heat really picked up! My 9 year old son had the mac and cheese wrap (plain/No pickles or sauce). This thing was huge! It had lots of mac and cheese and a chicken tender ( mild). He loved it. He saved half for later. I had the two sliders (medium). They were really good and big. I could only eat one slider. Everything came with seasoned waffle fries and drinks. The staff were so nice and helpful. They checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! * I will let you know how the extreme tenders taste after giving my daughter her meal when we get home. read more

1st time visiting. The manager/owner? waited on us. We ordered the loaded fries (medium) and the slider/tender combo (hot). I wanted to taste the extra hot, but it's a rub, not a sauce. He gave me an extra tender so I could try it. The menu is limited to what they do best: chicken tenders. I like spicy food, at the edge of "too hot". I discovered that hot is my flavor. The extra hot was delicious, but the heat lingers (Trinidad scorpion peppers!). Overall, great food and great service. Recommended. read more

Was not sure what to expect at 11 o'clock at night. Driving for work from New Orleans and had to stop here in Lafayette. Boy was I surprised! This place is surprisingly over the top. Incredible! The chicken was juicy, tender, and perfectly spiced! I had to order two additional pieces to satisfy my hunger. I highly recommend, and I am not an easy to please person when it comes to food. read more

Chicken is so good and so was the service. A little pricey but will definitely be back

Not a fan. We asked what the normal Nashville hot was and they said medium.....so to be brave we tried the next level hot.....I like spicy foods, so looking forward to trying it.....when the chicken came out it looked burnt, and dry. FF's were room temperature. It was so hot that you could barely eat it, in fact I quit eating, my lips were on fire, for 15 after I quit eating...thats just stupid. They did bring new FF's so give them credit for that. And they charge for the cc, which I looked around and didn't see a sign, but thats my bad for not asking....5 of us ate, bill was over $81, and three of us had water to drink. And finally not very many options of what to order....needless to say if you want Nashville hot chicken, head over to Super Chix.......or go to Maddie B's in Nashville read more

I must say the building is beautiful from the outside! Very colorful and inviting murals. I went through the drive thru of this establishment only to see that the intercom didn't work. Since they are a new restaurant, I gave them grace. I pulled up to a friendly worker who took my order but told me go back in the drive thru line to pick up my order. I would have preferred to not wait in the line again but I politely obliged. I ordered the blazin' loaded fries and chose the blazin' hot spice level. I love spicy food so I considered it a challenge to try it at its hottest level. I signed the waiver and was promptly given the fries. The fries were quite delicious but unfortunately I was really disappointed in the spice level on the chicken. It was a very mild spice. I am open to trying other menu items though. read more

Brightly lit restaurant with murals all over the walls! Open and airy vibe!! Fantastic staff, super friendly! The tenders are juicy and big !! I got #3, hot tender and medium slider!! The hot was a very good amount spicy and came out steaming hot, very tasty. The medium was a perfect flavor and spice level not spicy but not bland, good flavor. I'd recommend that spice level, if you're hesitant about the spicy levels. The fries were just okay, not fresh fried, seemed like they had sat for awhile. LOVVVE the late hours!!! I'll be back ! read more

I had the opportunity to eat here with a friend and I have to say.. the food was pretty good. The chicken tenders were large, fried to perfection. I tried medium heat and probably could've done the HOT. The waffle fries weren't as fresh as I'd like, but that's an easy fix. Pricing is reasonable, but would like to have had a drink included with the combo. Its a combo! Include a drink.. come on folks. The restaurant was clean, personnel friendly. One thing that would greatly benefit this establishment is tinted windows. The afternoon sun is intolerable. Anyways.. I recommend this place. read more

The staff is so nice and friendly. The restaurant is always clean and the atmosphere feels welcoming. Love the food.

The food here rivals Hattie B's Hot Chicken. Best hot chicken place I've had in years. The people are nice, the vibe of the restaurant is great. Definitely would eat here again. Price isn't awful either. Lot of food for the price. Would recommend to anyone. read more

First time trying blazin' hot chicken and started with a bang. The blazin' hot is extremely hot and I've eaten some very hot things in my life. That being said. The quality is great. The tenders are very juicy and tender and the waffle fries are also great. Service is top notch. Will definitely come back to try other heat levels! read more

My husband & I were in Lafayette for the day, so we decided to try Blazin' Hot Chicken based on all the TikToks we had seen. Let me tell you, the TikToks were not wrong. The food was delicious! I ordered the Slider meal (#5) & he ordered the Loaded Fries (#6). The service from the workers is top notch. Yes, it was a little wait (but all good things are worth a little wait). I'm so excited to go back & try other items on their menu! read more

Tried the medium hot sliders. Chicken had great flavor, reminds me of a hot honey. Additionally sliders sauce was a great complement to chicken. read more

It was not bad, but lacked flavor. It was fresh and hot. Service was fast and friendly. I'm just not sure the flavor is on point with the chicken tenders. I love chicken tenders and I've had better at other places. I would eat here again though. Just don't expect a flavor explosion in your mouth. read more

O. M. G! Blazin' Hot Chicken is bound to begin selling out and FAST! My husband and I both got the 3 tender meal spice level Hot (drinks not included) and we got a Mild tender for our daughter. First off, the staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we enjoyed our experience. They gave our little girl some mac and cheese and juice on the house. They also replaced her tender when I had concerns about the spice level. Just be aware even though it says Mild (and does taste like Mild) it looks VERY dark (picture of the mild is the 2 tenders in the black box). They replaced it with a Country which has NO spice which is the single tender in the black box. They told us the honey mustard was homemade and it showed! I did not try it but my husband said it's the best he's EVER had and they use real honey to make it!!! All 3 of us enjoyed every single bite. We left stuffed yet wanting more and excited to return. The place is also a little small but PRETTY! Tables, floor, and everything was spotless. And to top it off they are open extremely late (2:00 AM Sun-Wed and 3.30AM Thurs-Sat). We WILL be returning, possibly tomorrow... 100/10 RUN don't walk to try this place read more
