Overall, the food was definitely good. I got the double smash burger, and it was very solid, though I wish the meat were a little more flavorful. I also got the rougarou fries, which were the highlight of the meal for me. They were very similar to animal-style in-and-out fries, only better, and loaded with delicious caramelized onion (almost too much lol). My only real complaint about the food was the price. I payed around 23 bucks for both (without a drink mind you), which is a little high in my opinion. The service was friendly and quick; I have no complaints there :) The ambience was that of a "millennial burger joint " you'd see people talk about on tik tok, which I have no qualms with. I went in with high hopes, but left disappointed. I had the single burger with fries. I did not finish the burger or fries. The meat was a very thin patty and crumbly. I like mayonnaise, but there was more mayonnaise than meat. The fries were very salty and greasy. The grilled onions on the burger were soggy as well. There's no table service (or drink refills since there's no fountain drinks). Ordering is done from the counter, but they will bring your order to your table. I love a good smash burger! Definitely have to get a double or triple because of how thin they are. The fries are kinda steak/wedge style. Seasoned so good. Yes I do recommend this restaurant the burger was so good and juicy, we added bacon to our burgers and oh my it was cooked perfect. Had a crunch on it. Some wide big pieces of bacon. There fries were hot , fresh, and crispy outside as well. I text my boyfriend right away and told him how much he would like this place. We will definitely be back! Me and my best friend enjoyed the atmosphere. There was music playing if you sat outside there was umbrellas to keep the sun from beaming down on you. The bathrooms were nice and clean. This is my new favorite place to get a burger. The flavors are amazing. The fries are great. The ambiance is a perfect blend of stylish and entertaining. It's perfect. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the size of the plates. I just don't understand why they serve these amazing burgers on such comically small plates. Generally speaking, burgers are a notoriously messy meal. The plates are hardly a half inch larger than the burger bun in diameter, with grilled onions and smash burger patties spilling over the sides before I take a single bite. We were so pleased when we decided to stop in! The vibe of the building was awesome and there was also outdoor seating (we chose to sit inside because outside seemed to be of popular demand!) The lady who took our order was very helpful, friendly, and assistive when we told her it was our first time there! She explained the menu and all the deals that they were offering! We came during happy hour - so many of the menu items were cheaper (aside from the burgers/sandwiches)! Our shrimp dip & chips were $5 and both sets of fries were $5 as well! Our drinks were $5 a piece for 12 oz ($7 for 16 oz). We tried the lemon drop and added coconut... when we ordered, a few of the waiters and waitresses were asking us to let them know how it was! It was absolutely delicious - felt like we were sipping on a frozen drink on the beach! Would recommend spending that extra $1 and adding coconut to the lemon drop. The regular lemon drop & frozen margarita were delicious as well! We were very pleased with the drinks. Now for the sandwiches... I will be back for them. The spicy chicken sandwich was just the right amount of spice for me - very flavorful. The patty melt was sooo good. I thing to complain about here! My hubby got the spicy chicken sandwich, he said it was one of the best fried chicken sandwich he has had. Nice crispy outside and tender & juicy inside.
