I stopped here with my brother on a weekday afternoon after a round of golf because he wanted to try this place and was hungry. I had other plans for dinner, so I just ordered a bottle of pop. I'm not sure if the man behind the counter was the owner or not, but after I declined to order any food, he offered me a complimentary order of fries. I accepted, and the fries are very good. I am giving this place four stars for the kindness and generosity of the staff.

Overdone chicken tenders with weird batter

Not a great experience. The good: online ordering is deceptively painless. You can click on and off whatever you do and don't want on your burger. The bad: they may be out of ingredients and they won't take anything that cost extra off unless you ask. Awkward. The kids meal is supposed to come with a drink but we had to ask for that, too, and the person looked confused and surprised even though it's on the receipt and everything. The ugly: the kids chicken tenders taste as good as they look. The prices are much too high for what you get. Just an uncomfortable unsatisfying experience over all.

Food here is adequate. Entirely inoffensive, and uninteresting. Meal was fine. I got the Hawaiian salmon sandwich with onion rings. Portion size was fair. I definitely was not hungry when I was done. It was just... average. Stole bites of my kid's chicken fingers, chicken sandwich, and fries to see if maybe I asked a little too much of them. I did not. It was all adequate. Nothing I couldn't get at a local diner for half the price. Meh.

Four stars for the great food. Beautiful burgers on gloriously fresh buns, crisp curly lettuce on the burgers. You'll be ordering from an endless array of delicious flavor combinations, so customize away! The French fries were perfect, a mark of a great casual restaurant, as were the onion rings. It got really quiet while we were there. If I had been working behind that counter, I would have to grab a shop rag and some Windex to hit that front door in between customers. Very nice, helpful cashier. You order at the counter and they bring it out to your table. We bussed our our table at the end of our meal. Good value for your money, delicious and well prepared food. We'll be back with our little kids.

I first came here when it just opened & got to try a little of everything & everything was amazing. Well, food has not changed. (Technically it did, their fries changed & different items on the menu), but they were just as good today. My son got the Lamburger w/Fries & I got the Angus Beef Burger w/BURGERIM Fries w/Garlic Aioli on them. They were phenomenal !!!! I am a garlic freak & that Aioli made them the best fries I've ever had. One of the most wonderful things there that made our short wait seem even shorter, was talking to the nicest guy, Brian, who took our orders & chatted with me about all kinds of things, such as YELP & flowers & plants. He brought in some gorgeous flowers from his garden to brighten the place up. It was a really nice touch. He was so sweet & very helpful ,explaining all the burgers & how you can change anything on them & anything else we wanted to know. Burgerim, give Brian a raise or an "Employee of the Month" plaque on the wall. You have a real winner there. I can't wait to back again , chat with Brian more & try their Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Avocado & of course, the Garlic Aioli Fries. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

When you walk into a restaurant during the Saturday lunch rush to find there is no rush, you start to worry that maybe it's empty because the food sucks. That's what my mate and pal thought as we entered the silent room. There are tvs playing cartoons and Food Network on mute, no background music. Me, hungry, and bent on getting a salmon burger decided to stick with my gut. My gut is full and in love. I had to stop to take a picture. The food is so photogenic you'd think they're making models for the menu. It's stable to boot, not threatening to fall out of the buns like some sandwiches I've struggled to eat. I'm not super into ginger or barbeque flavors, so I asked to go sauceless. It didn't affect the moistness of the fish, as it still was a well seasoned flaky patty under the fresh rings of pineapple. The bun was bouncy. I can honestly say that for all the fish I've eaten in my life, this may just be my favorite. My company both ordered burgers. My pal kept interlacing her bites with the word perfect. I lost track of how many times she said it, pointing out how they use real cheese. The sauce was reminiscent of a spicy ketchup without setting the mouth on fire. Which wouldn't have been a problem, because they offer cold beverages too. My pal got a chocolate tea. It was darker than it was sweet, chocolate visibly pooling at the bottom of her cup. It's thin enough to blow bubbles, unlike the the cookies and cream shake my mate got. It was still slurpable, like a melted Oreo, though if you try to blow a bubble, you're only gonna get a bloop. They both got potato sides, fries for her and onion rings for him. I stole one of each, noticing how there wasn't any greasy residue in the paper trays. The sizable onion ring had an audible crunch, and the fries were crispy while remaining soft on the inside. I'm usually a glutton for salt, yet these weren't at all, and somehow were still perfect. The food is halal, so it tastes super clean. They also made sure to put nutrition facts on the menu, which was helpful, seeing as how this is a place where you're going to want to indulge, and won't feel guilty for a second when you do.

Burgers are fun, burgers are important, and most of all.....burgers are delicious. So when I finally remembered that BurgerIM opened on Hertel I madee sure I came here to try me a burger (or two thanks to the minis). I stopped in here last Sunday and to my surprise the building was absolutely freezing, to the point where everyone eating there had winter coats on, strange. The place itself is very spacious, has some televisions out so you can keep up with sports, and of course, a menu featuring a bunch of different types of burgers, side dishes, and milkshakes to make even the grumpiest people smile for at least a second. I was struggling to pick just one so I ended up ordering the 2 minis with one being a cheeseburger and the other being a fried chicken sandwich. We also ordered a side dish of onion rings and I definitely ate a some of my girlfriends French fries. How was the food you ask? Cheeseburger- I was a big fan of the cheese and the burger. I would definitely rather eat this then go to a fast food chain like McDonald's or Burger King and I was even a fan of the presentation. Fried Chicken Sandwich- the chicken was good, the breading was good, and that's what makes for a good chicken finger sandwich. Thumbs up! French fries- the fries were small and round and even though I wasn't sure what to think at first, I was left smiling after eating one. These small little potatoes slices were absolutely delicious! Onion rings- pretty typical onion rings, but not in a bad way. These guys were crunchy and totally tasty. Overall, I really enjoyed my first ever experience at a BurgerIM. The food was good, the place was nice, and the employee working was friendly enough. Come check this place out for yourself!

This is a great place to stop if you want food fast, but better than fast food quality. The menu a great selection of burgers. Beef, impossible beef, chicken, salmon, all the types of burgers you can think of. If you can't choose just one they also have an option where you can get 2 or 3 smaller versions. Great idea! I went with a regular sized burger and fries. All around the food was pretty good. It was done pretty quickly too. I'd return here for sure in the future.

We went for a trip to Buffalo recently and the cold made us crave for Burgers real bad! With some research on Yelp we came across this Gourmet Fast Food chain. We were sold at the concept of Gourmet Fast Food itself. This particular outlet is the flagship outlet of Buffalo and we were excited to check it out. Upon entering, you're welcomed into this huge, well lit and immaculate place with lots of seating space. Be ready to have your expectations of getting into a shabby fast food restaurant shatter right after stepping in here. The staff were kind enough to help us select the right dishes as per our preferences. With their suggestions we were all set with our order. We started off with the BurgerIM Fries and the Onion Rings. Firstly, the Onion Rings were simply out of this world. It's crunch is so loud that it can be heard from another city(not kidding) and pairing it with their house sauce gives you a one way trip to food coma! Their Fries are served cottage cut style and are perfect to nibble on with your burgers and drink. Next up was the main event, their famed Gourmet Burgers. We got ourselves the Crispy Chicken Burger and the Falafel Burger. The amazing thing about this joint is that you can make customizations to your burgers, so of course we had to add an Onion Ring to our burger. First one up was the Crispy Chicken burger which blew us away with this burst of flavors. The buffalo sauce was lip smacking, the crispy chicken was super juicy and the bun was exceptional. Then we tried the Falafel Burger. The huge chunk of Falafel was on point, the Tahini sauce was on point and the bun again was on point. Overall, we had an absolutely soul satisfying meal here at BurgerIM and we just can't wait to visit again for those crunchy Onion rings and the delicious Burgers!

I saw the three star review and thought: "Should I even bother to give this place a try? But then again, things simply did not seem to add up when factoring in the negative reviews. The food in the photos seem gourmet and delicious, but there were some reviews that stated otherwise." So, I decided to find out for myself. Upon entering this fully halal establishment, the delicious aroma wafting in from the kitchen greeted me. To make things even better, the extremely welcoming associate at the front of the house/register warmly welcomed my rather large party with the biggest smile. Customer service like this is rarely seen these days! I also immediately noticed how well the place was designed. It was spacious and well lit. The bar style counter was a nice touch, and the other tables appeared comfortable. The ambience was calm and peaceful. Even the kitchen seemed to run smoothly despite our huge order. The family box we ordered contained eight 3 oz. burgers (these are smaller 3 oz. burgers that are between sliders and regular burgers in size), wings, onion rings, and fries. I like how we could customize each aspect of our order. For example, we could add bacon (halal bacon), or swap out regular fries for sweet potato fries. We also ordered two dry-aged beef burgers, and a salmon burger on the side. The order was prepared very quickly despite the crowd that was beginning to show up. As for the food, I could only describe it as very satisfying and delicious! The burgers were all juicy. I ordered different types of burgers (Angus beef, dry-aged beef, grilled chicken, and salmon) to analyze the scope of what this place could output, and to see if the negative reviews were true. All of the burgers were well prepared and presented beautifully. The dry-aged beef burger is a must try in my opinion. The fries were crispy, and the chicken strips were crunchy on the outside and firm and juicy on the inside. Buffalo needs a gourmet halal burger joint, and this BurgerIM fulfills that need. It is a place where everyone could visit, as halal is simply a humane/healthier method which Muslims follow when sourcing the meat, as with Kosher for example, so it is not only limited to Muslims. After dining here, I have concluded that bias could've played a part in the negative reviews that I've seen here on Yelp, as the food and service were both phenomenal in every way. My visit to this place saw me enter as a skeptic. However, I am very happy that I did not skip it based on others' opinions. After trying it out for myself, I would definitely stop by here whenever I'm in the area. Thank you, BurgerIM, for a great experience. Keep up the good work! And see you again sometime soon!

Visited Buffalo last weekend and looked around for new restaurants on Yelp. Found this fast food burger joint and seemed interesting enough to give it a shot. They've got a big space with a lot of seating available. The place is really clean and has a chill vibe to it. Their USP is the gourmet burgers and we were surprised to see that at a fast food chain. The staff was really friendly and gave us suggestions suiting our taste. Here's what we got: Onion Rings- These were super crispy and super delicious. Pair them with their garlic aioli dip. BurgerIm Fries- These are cut cottage style and these go so well with the house sauce. Crispy Chicken Burger- Absolutely loved this burger. The chicken was tender and juicy. The buffalo sauce amped up the flavor with its spice kick. This is a must try! Falafel Burger- This was no less than perfection. Possibly the best falafel we've ever had sandwiched between their scrumptious buns with a finger licking good tahini sauce. All in all, this outlet of BurgerIm has turned us into their fans and we definitely recommend trying their food!

This was my first time here. My sorority sister chose it as a place to go for my daughter and I to treat her for her birthday. When I walked in I seen a coworker of mines enjoying her meal with her guest. Her guest pointed out that the milkshakes they make are delicious. We had server Lucia who was very courteous and attentive. My soror and I ordered their angus burgers with fries and my daughter had chicken wings. For drinks, my daughter and I got the cookies and cream milkshakes and my soror a fountain drink (have over 50 options). We loved the shape of the fries and how tasty our burgers were. Only issue was a few of my daughter's wings were undercooked but they quickly resolved the issue by making fresh ones for her. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would go back again to try other items on the menu.

I like the concept and the pricing, but the actual burgers are mediocre and my son said kind of dry. He's a burger connoisseur, so I trust him. His favorite joints are 'Five Guys' and 'Vizzi's'. He said these ones weren't nearly as good. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with avocado, chicken fingers, onion rings and sweet potato fries. It was great. The chicken was clean, and real, which I'm super particular about. For the price, I think we'd go back. A dinner box is an easy dinner for 8 on a budget

So the website and everything else says the store opens at 11 when I got to the hertel location at 11 the girl turned the lights on and unlocked the door but said they weren't opening until noon. When I asked why it says 11 she said oh it does? We will open at 11:30 then. So when I came back to order I ordered a bubble tea and she said she didn't make the boba so she wouldn't sell the bubble tea. The whole time she was laughing as if she thought it was funny. read more

I heard couple months ago that BurgerIM was gonna open soon on Hertel Ave and I couldn't wait to try it . They opened a week ago , but I finally got to try it today and let me tell you its AMAAAAZING!!! Everything they make are fresh and Burgers are freaking delicious and more importantly HALAL !!!! I'm definitely returning back for more and it will be my go to place for a burger. If you haven't already tried their food . Please do and try them out won't regret it . read more

Tried this place a couple months back so reviewing a little late! Ordered from BurgerIm through doordash, taking one star out because the burger, the burger I ordered was the crispy chicken, it was supposed to have sautéed onions, mixed greens, and pickles. Sadly mine only had pickles and the buffalo sauce in it. But the burger was still delicious, I also got the onion rings, which were really good and crispy. Hopefully I'll have a better food experience next time, since I've heard a lot of good things about this place. read more

It's my first time here and it took me a while to decide what I wanted because they have soooo many options to choose from. I ended up getting the lettuce wrap and Oreo shake, let me tell you it was the yummiest shake I had ever tried and the lettuce wrap was just perfect. I would definitely come back here to try something else. I just didn't like that I had to wait a bit, but it's understandable they had Uber eats and DoorDash orders that they were working on. read more

This was a terrible burger. It was super dry and it seems like the burger I was served was not fresh. It had no flavor and it was burnt to the crisp. The cheese did not even seem like it was recently melted. It definitely was a cooked patty that has been sitting there for a while. There is zero excuse for this as the place was not too crowded as I entered. I spent $12 on absolute garbage. I'd rather eat at McDonald's than this. read more

Yum, Yum, YUM!!!!! I had the wonderful experiencing of trying out different food options here and it was amazing! At first I expected this place to just be "another burger joint" but it is far from that! This place has a variety of options and there's just something special in the way they do their burgers that really makes this place stand out. Let's get into the different foods that really stood out to me. I really like their approach on the fries. They almost cut them like chips and they are salted to perfection. I really enjoyed their onion rings too. Very crisp and well done. I really enjoyed the hawaiian salmon burger. The thought of pineapple with salmon caused me to question life, but it really worked! Worked so much that I actually ordered this again! The Spanish beef burger was also a favorite of mine. I highly recommend it. These two are my go-tos but the others are really good as well. I did not find a burger I hated so you really cannot go wrong! ALSO!!!! This place is Halal! If you are craving a burger and want to experience something different... this is the spot. read more

I'm not sure what's up with all the bad reviews because I received great service and some pretty delicious food! I love when I see the option as lettuce for a bun so I knew I had to try it out. The girl behind the counter was so friendly (wish I would have gotten her name) and was extremely helpful and patient with all our questions. We ordered two angus beef duos with fries and a drink. The burgers came out within 15 minutes and were hot and delicious and the lettuce bun was fresh and crispy. The garlic aioli fries were definitely my favorite, I also really like how different their fries were. All in all great experience, I hope this place sticks around! read more

Better than I anticipated after reading these yelp reviews. Got the angus burger, it was pretty good for a franchise restaurant. I tend to like my burgers really rare but obviously don't expect that from places like this. Also got Garlic Aioli fries which were soo good. I was satisfied with the food but it definitely could have been quicker, not a place to go if you're in a rush. Id eat here again. read more

The Aged beef Burger was a new concept, but that is all it is. The Lamb burger was cold, the fries were also cold. The bubble tea was also off. The boba was not cooked through and the tea lacked any flavor other than sugar. The employee was also dismissive of me. She didn't even bother to tell us that the food was done or ours. She simply dropped the bag and walked away. I could probably look this over if our food wasn't cold. read more

It sucks! Food wasn't that good and the service was terrible! Took 45 minutes to get a burger at a place that only makes burgers, and it wasn't busy. Save your money and go somewhere else, anywhere else. read more

Never tried them reason being they never answer their damn phone plus there's no pricing on their menu that I could find. I'd rather not be suprised with huge price tag. So I'll try a couple more times before I give up all together. read more

Pleasant surprise, clean dining area good service . My date and I got the angus burger hers was perfect mine a bit underdone but both tasty ! The onion rings and sweet potato fries are great, the jalapeños fries are delish! Restrooms needed cleaning will dine here again! read more

Disappointing burger. Just not good. Tasteless beef. No seasoning whatsoever. Utterly bland, like any frozen slab of beef thrown on any grill with no seasoning and no prep. No excuse for tasteless beef when the name of your place includes 'burger'. Learn the wonders of seasoning the beef, not the sauce. The bland beef was overwhelmed by house sauce, which might be okay if you happen to like that flavor. I didn't. Very institutional sort of sauce: overwhelming flavor. Worst part should have been the beef, but its disappointment was surpassed by the bacon. Limp, fatty, chewy...disgusting. I literally could not eat it. It's as if the cook never eats bacon and has no clue that bacon is supposed to be crisp. At least my cat got a treat. Minor gripe: The burger was supposed to be $7.99. That's what the menu board advertises. Nope: they add 49 cents surcharge for the market price for beef. But they don't tell you that. They just charge it. Hey management: truth in advertising! Change the price on your tv screen menu! It's that hard? Change the price staring us in the face on your own menu! WTH If I had enjoyed the burger, I would have ignored that. I don't mind spending for a burger (Gordon Ramsay's Vegas burger joint blows Bobby Flay's out of the water. I'd happily spend $20 for a Gordon Ramsay burger). But I would not buy this burger again at half the price. First and last visit. read more

Went in hungry for dinner. Hit the spot really hard. Place is big and exciting. Nice decor friendly staff. Pretty good prices on big juicy burgers. We tried the Spanish Angus beef and the dry aged. Their fries are shaped like plump potato chips which is cool. I really want to try their wings next time I get in here. read more

My son and I ordered for National Burger Day after hearing good reviews of BurgerIM, but the food was TERRIBLE! Honestly inedible. Both burger buns were burned so all we could taste was the char on them. He wanted the falafel burger, which was also burned. (So badly that it was rock hard instead of soft like falafel is supposed to be.) The onion rings were so stick together there was no possible way to separate them to share between us without stripping them of the batter. The only palatable item in the order was the wings, but even those were not made extra crispy as requested. A truly disappointing experience after seeing all of the amazing reviews! read more

I'm going to second the other sentiments of a crappy burger here. Went on an off hour to make sure it wasn't busy for my first time here to make sure I wasn't having an "off" experience. There were only 2 other tables with people. It took a weirdly long time for my order for it not being busy. Food came... Onion rings that were cold, and a dry lukewarm patty that definitely was not made from scratch. No wayyyyyy was this "Angus" burger hand made and served fresh!! It was dry, rubbery, and lacking in flavor. Probably leftover sitting around from lunch hour that were reheated. I know a FRESH cooked burger when I get one. This was not it. The onion rings, same. Crunchy yet barely lukewarm. Definitely not fresh food cooked to order. This review has to combine my in-dining experience. Hubby and I have been to Burger IM a few times for takeout before dining in. Those two experiences were great. Also I guess a quick in and out allows you to miss a lot of ket focal points. Disclosure - perhaps this was a bad day among days at Burger IM. After ordering our we sat at a booth and the cleanliness of the table, floors and condiments was really bad. You could feel the layers of dirt on the tables and in the middle of a pandemic this is even worse. I had my own hand wipes but every moment spent sitting there made me feel so dirty. So this was a quick in and out experience due to that. Perhaps they were understaffed that day who knows. Well, I'll leave some room here for the food review. We ordered burgers and fries -surprise LOL. I've taken a liking to the Spanish beef burger with jalapeños and cheese. We got a side of the cheddar and bacon fries and the garlic aioli fries. My friends and I have been dying to try BurgerIM and decided to get it via DoorDash for our Valentine's Day hangout. The food was not only freezing (which could have been a doordash issue so that wasn't the kicker) but all 3 burgers were basically raw. I had about 3 bites until I noticed, but I've felt awful all night/this morning. The more you cut into it, the worst it got. Almost $60 wasted. Super disappointed!! read more

My friends and I ordered 3 burgers last night from this place. It was our first and last experience with Burger IM. We used DoorDash to cold have it delivered, and that part was all fine. Our food arrived and we quickly realized that ALL. THREE. burgers were so undercooked we couldn't stomach even trying to eat them. We wasted money, and food which completely sucks. Horrible...for a burger place you would think they had great burgers. I ordered the Spanish burger...beyond horrid. Brown lettuce, I mean Brown all over from being old...no way that person didn't see the lettuce was starting to rot. The burger itself was the quality of a McDonald's single burger that was left out in the sun for hours. Peppers were supposed to be grilled...yep...just thrown on. Bun was hard...every aspect was awful. My friend got a lettuce wrap...I don't think they know what that means...again brown lettuce falling all part...almost $30 for that mess. I not only wouldn't recommend this place I feel the need to warn people first. I literally felt sorry for people walking in. It will be closed in 3 months. Disgusting. There is no way on planet earth that burger was made to order...maybe 3 weeks prior then it spent a day under a heat lamp. If its just a gross fast food joint...cut the prices by 75% and advertise it as such...and how do they get the 40 million different burger combinations...I'd like to see the math on that one. We stopped in today for lunch with five people. The service was great. We ordered at the counter and then they brought the food out to us. The total was about $55, which was extremely reasonable. Four of us got the angus burger and one got the impossible burger. Their fries with the garlic aioli was insanely delicious! Two got bubble teas as well and they enjoyed them. Really nice customer service. The food was really good too. I got the lamb which was delicious with the addition of beef bacon and jalepinos. We been there twice since their grand opening a week ago. Our first time we went as a couple & second time around with family who were excited to try a dry age burger. Upon entering we were greeted by one of their managers, food ordering process went smooth and wait time is average. Quality of their meat is superior to any burger spots we have been to in the area, dry age burger was the right amount of juicy, came out precisely as we ordered (medium rare) and servers are very attentive to their customers, onion rings are the best and chicken wings are cooked perfectly with flavours of sauces which left our stomach craving for more. It is a treat for burger lovers and % halal plus lamb & beef are Zabiha. Feel free to talk to their managers about it if you have any questions. If you are a food enthusiasts then go and try them out with family or friends or by your self while enjoying a walk along Hertel Ave. A delicious meal which is not heavy on our pockets is definitely a bonus which we don't regret by any means ;) read more

Initially, after reading these reviews on yelp I kinda got disappointed. But now after trying out BurgerIM, I would definitely say it Deserves more stars !!! Me and my friends love it sooo much that we would come here again for lunch right from Buffalo state, as a group and have lunch here. The staff is very nice and friendly. The food is delicious! My favorite tho is dry aged beef, and the crispy chicken. Oh and I love there milkshakes !!! Cookies and creme is the best. Next time I will try the lettuce wrap, although I'm scared because of a previous Review. 4 stars because I just wish the times were consistent, that sometimes we get food under 10 mins and other times it's around 20 mins, but that's usually dinner time, the food always tastes so I'm willing to wait. read more

The quality of food doesn't match the price. Id never order or eat with them again !
