They were the best fingers I've had: tender, crispy, and packed with flavor. A single order comes with five large fingers, which is more than enough for two people. Their Beef on Weck is also a Buffalo classic done right. The beef was tender and flavorful, and there was horseradish on the table, which is exactly how it should be. The place was packed on a Wednesday night, but everyone we met was friendly and happy to give advice on favorite menu items. Those favorites are also featured on small framed boards around the walls, which adds to the local charm. I've been to this bar quite a few times, usually just to drink though. Today, my brother took me to lunch here. I got a Roast Beef on Weck He got 10 Medium Garlic Wings & we split a basket of fries. Everything was delicious !! I tried one of his wings & it was crispy (if u like them that way,it was perfect) & very good. I ,myself would've gotten them dripping in Garlic Sauce. My Beef on Weck was huge !! The meat just fell apart. No chewing necessary (but it is encouraged ) I don't get full easy, but the 1 sandwich, 1 wing & a few fries & I was full !! This local tavern has been around for decades, and it holds a lot of great memories for me. I remember coming here as a young guy -- and now, 35 years later, I'm still walking through the same doors. It had been quite a while since I last ordered the wings or the roast beef, but both were absolutely outstanding. The wings were done just right, and the roast beef was every bit as good as I remembered. It's a great spot to stop in, whether you're a regular or just passing through. I heard about this place from the Buffalo Wing Coalition and I'm glad finally made it. A cool local dive with a tight menu and really reasonable prices. We sat ourselves and got lucky that we didn't have to wait when we came for dinner. I heard all about the wings and the beef on weck so we knew what we had to order. BOW was sold out so that means we will have to come back another time. We ordered wings, fries and a few drinks from the bar. The food came out quick and it was hot and delicious. I'm not sure it gets better than this. This is the perfect bar. Neighborhood folk. Working folk coming in for their lunch break and folk like us coming in because we're in town and want some outstanding weck & wings with a cold beer. We came in for lunch. Like I said, we wanted a beef on weck, wings and a drink. I had been here before, so I already knew the food was excellent. I do love the divey aspect of this place. No menus, if you want food...look on the wall for one of the hand written menus attached to the wall. The lunch crowd is hopping, but a single bartender has it all under control. She's taking orders at tables, keep the individuals at the bar with a constant drink. She's a rockstar. The beef on weck comes with a mountain of roast beef. What's nice, each table has a jar of horseradish so you can apply as much as you like. We got medium wings, which were outstanding. The only problem, the ones at the bottom of the pile got a little rubbery. I hate rubbery wings, but the ones on top were perfectly crispy. The star though was the beef on weck. It's a dive bar that has a setting perfect for drinking beer and watching the game, or catching up with friends. We tried a few beers and wing flavors. The spicy wings were very good and not too spicy. The medium wings were great and what keeps the wings crispy is that they put most of the sauce on the plate itself so although the wings come with sauce on them, you can dip the wings if you want extra flavor. The garlic parm wings weren't my favorite, but still a solid choice if you're not into traditional buffalo wing sauce. And of course, one of the best parts of getting wings in Buffalo, is that it came with celery and blue cheese. Their fries were super crispy as well, and tasted wonderful when dipped in the wing sauce. If you're into beef on weck, you can grab one here. The beef wasn't as good as Schwabl's, and it did get super soggy towards the end but it's still a hearty option if you're really craving it. read more

My son and I visited 13 wing places in 4 days during our 2025 Wing Crawl. We hit Kelly's late Tuesday night - out last stop. Around 10:30pm as I recall. The music was blaring and you could tell it was a bar at that hour. Very loud. We got the order to go given the noise. Service was quick but you could tell this is a place for locals. We are not locals. :-) We brought the wings back to the hotel and at then there. We got hot and they were not as expected. I was picking up a Nashville Hot flavor. Not my preference. We rated all 13 places and Kelly's got a 7.0 out of 10 and tied for 10th place. They were alright just not worth a return trip in our opinion. read more

So living in Buffalo everyone knows we are serious about our wings. The locals like me know that the best aren't at the so called historic places but at the regular mom and pops shops and neighbors bars and restaurants. I've heard about Kelly's Korner for some time but never had the opportunity to try them out. But today I had sometime to kill and just went for it. Kelly Korner is definitely a neighbor bar, when I walked in everyone turned around,lol. But everyone was super friendly!!! I laughed my butt off and even got some great advice about toddlers from the bartender,lol. So i order a simple Milargros Tequila with soda water lime and a single order of wings. As you can see my drink was a tall, nice and refreshing as I waited for my wings. The wings were out in less than 20 mins and were crispy yet saucy!! Just a really solid order of wings!! Kelly's Korner is without a doubt my number one favorite Beef on Weck in Buffalo. Perfectly seasoned roast beef cooked medium rare and sliced extra thin and piled high on a fresh kummelweck roll with just the right amount of kosher salt and caraway seeds. Also, their homemade hot sauce wings they are known for are definitely one of the top 3 best wings in Buffalo and the best hots I've had. I usually avoid hot wings in Buffalo and go for medium as hot usually means super hot and mouth numbing and it's a bit much but these are perfect and so flavorful. Kelly's Korner is a total dive bar but the food here is so amazing and the owners and employees are always kind and welcoming. Besides it makes the top 3 list in my book for Buffalo's two most famous local foods (wings and beef on weck) so it's definitely a must try Buffalo institution. The restaurant is relatively small inside and only has like 4 tables total so can definitely get kind of cramped if you visit during a busier time so be mindful of that. Once you order it usually takes awhile to receive your food (30-45 minutes usually) but be patient and I promise this phenomenal food will be worth the wait. read more

We were in Buffalo for a June wedding and I decided I wanted to try to hit up as many wing spots as I could (spoiler alert, we were full after only two places in one day haha). I saw Kelly's Korner was recommended often online so we pulled up, not realizing it's definitely a local neighborhood type of institution, kind of dive bar-y vibes. We came on a rainy Saturday around 2 pm or so & stood at the entrance, unsure if we were supposed to seat ourselves haha. Eventually we took a table and ordered a set of garlic parm wings that came with fries and we asked for the house made hot sauce to be on the side. We ordered a beef on weck to split amongst the four of us and the kitchen was very kind to cut it into four pieces for us to easily eat. For reference, it seemed like most patrons at the time were mostly there for day drinking so we felt a bit out of place as tourists but the food was so good, we'd definitely go back. The garlic parm wings were super flavorful yet very crispy despite how the garlic parm oils all over the wings. It tasted great with the house made sauce! We (ok, maybe just me) were scraping down the serving plate when we were done eating. The beef on weck was pretty good but not super memorable. I still think about the garlic parm wings at Kelly's months later. Next time I'd also love to try their other wings too. The food came out pretty fast and fun fact, Kelly's Korner is named after the owner whose surname is Kelly I believe (I asked the hostess at the bar if she was Kelly, she was not haha). Chicken wings are fantastic, better than most places in Buffalo , the home of chicken wings, it has great chicken tenders, the best BEEF ON WECK, a local thin sliced beef piled high on a roll topped with caraway seeds & course salt , usually only horseradish is added. It is the best in this restaurant but be warned they sell out frequently before typical dinner time & the wait can be very long. It is worth the wait. Kelly's Korner is a tiny and entirely serviceable dive bar of the old school, featuring reasonably priced beer, shots, bar bowling, an entirely modest and constrained amount of space, locals drinking heavily, and a great deal of very cheap food. (It looked pretty good, but it's not really super friendly to my diet, which is, of course, my problem and not theirs). If you like your bars small, old, and authentic and your conversations to involve sports and other local-color themes, I'd stop on in. As demographics shift and working-class drinkers age out of the game (spoiler: the kids all vape and play video games around the house and will not replace them), these old-Buffalo-style institutions are going to become a rarity in coming decades. Wings in Buffalo....you just HAVE to do it! We are on a tour of NE and we wanted to get wings from Buffalo. This place was awesome in all aspects. It was a a dive, but in the BEST of ways. I showed up to this place with my wife and 3 kids (all under 12) and I am sure we stood out like a sore thumb, but who cares! Every person that came into this bar, knew the other person and we were the only outsiders. They still treated us AMAZING! The waitress was friendly, inviting, gave us all the info that we had. We got the medium and garlic parm wings. Medium was SO fricken good, love it, only problem was that I ordered too many garlic parm. Should have just stuck with the medium.
