First time at Duff's. It was recommended for the hotel and the wings did not disappoint. We got the medium light flavor and it was like a traditional medium at other restaurants we have been to. The actual wing was cooked nicely and the flavor was very good. I liked the bone bucket, that was an added touch. We also ordered cheese sticks and they were just a traditional cheese stick, nothing fantastic. If I was only eating the wings I would give it five stars.
This is a pretty well-known local spot for Buffalo wings, so we had to give it a try. We ordered a Caesar salad and 20 wings with four flavors: Medium Light, Hot Garlic Parm, Hot Honey, and Sweet Cajun. The Caesar salad portion was massive and could easily feed four people. The wings themselves were on the drier, crispier side, but that texture actually worked really well with the sauces. Sweet Cajun and Hot Honey were easily our favorites, with a great balance of sweetness and heat. Medium Light was still a little too sour for our taste, while the Hot Garlic Parm surprisingly didn't have much garlic flavor at all, so that one wasn't really for us. Service was friendly and the place had a casual, very local atmosphere. Overall, pretty solid wings and definitely a spot worth trying if you're in the area.
Lucky for me, my brother and sister, we wrapped up our annual Buffalo siblings trip in the best way possible -- with one final wing stop at Duff's Famous Wings! As if we hadn't eaten enough wings already, we couldn't resist squeezing in one more round before heading home. The weather in Western New York was absolutely perfect for October, so we grabbed a table out on the patio -- sunshine, laughter, and wings... can't beat it! We kicked things off with Fried Pickles. They were fine -- crispy and tasty -- and the dipping sauce had a nice little kick. But honestly, my mind was already on the wings! Our server, Olivia, was fantastic -- friendly, quick, and right on top of things. My brother and I split 10 wings, ordered Medium Hot. Now, Duff's isn't kidding when they say Medium is Hot! These packed a serious punch, but next trip we're going for the "Hot," which, by Duff's standards, is very, very hot! Their Blue Cheese was decent but I'm still searching for the best in WNY - looking for recommendations for me next years trip! Our sister, however, walks her own culinary path -- she ordered hers plain. Just fried. No sauce. We didn't judge... (well, maybe just a little ). We wrapped up our final meal together full, happy, and already reminiscing about the weekend. Even though the Bills didn't bring home a win, nothing beats the time we shared as family. Until next October... wings, laughs, and sibling shenanigans await again!
I ordered my food via their website (which actually routed it then through door dash) so I can't speak to the decor or the ambience of the place. I ordered 5 traditional wings, medium hot, and a beef on weck sandwich with fries. I mean I'm in Buffalo after all..... Everything was very good! Food arrived via door dash delivery pretty quickly especially considering it was a Friday evening. The wings were cooked up just right and the sauce was, as I would have hoped, on point. Hot sauce mixed with melted butter and I think I detected a few other things in there. My only regret was only ordering 5. The beef on weck was piled high with beef. It came with the au jus on the side as well as some damn potent horseradish which had me slapping the table. The fries were just meh, they were shoestring fries and cooked fine but really no seasoning at all so they we were mostly just there. Oh - I also added carrots and celery with the wings and I got probably a pound of them!!! It was crazy. I felt like a rabbit.
Fantastic and Delicious ... second time and OMG it was AWESOME...Their wings are soo good.. spicy and good.. the service was phenomenal, very attentive and very helpful... the place was very quite, clean and superb... LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Will recommend anyone!
We did a wing crawl throughout the Buffalo area. We visited 13 places. We rated them all on a scale of 10. Duffs came in dead last on our ranking with a 5/10. They have a sign that says their hots are very very hot. Not on this day. They must have forgotten to add the spice. The wings were mild. Our server was just sort of blah. We did get there before noon so the shift was just starting. Maybe she was just getting going. We also found the wings to be very small. We got a side of the "Death Sauce" for $1.79. It was hot but not good flavor. The highlight was the blue cheese. It was very good - smooth / creamy not chunky style - but, I am good either way on that. Restaurant was not too noisy so that was nice. Do not recommend given all the other excellent wing spots in Buffalo.
This was our very first time going to Duff's Famous Wings and it didn't disappoint. Our waitress was absolutely amazing, great customer service. The restaurant was packed and had a great vibe. The Wings stole the show, we came for wings and they were fantastic. We can't wait to go back next time we're in town.
People in WNY enjoy high quality wings just about everywhere, mainly due to the very high bar that is set across the region, & patrons refusal to settle for anything less than great. Duff's sits at apex of the local wing rankings sitting somewhere from #1-3 depending on who you ask. Wings here are always cooked to perfection, crispy yet beautifully saucy. The menu has other options including beef on weck & excellent French fries. Prices still have not come down from the temporary Covid-era cost spike, preventing 5 stars. Service is typically awesome.
Duff's is a great spot to experience authentic Buffalo chicken wings -- these famous delectables were born right here in Buffalo. There are so many great places in the area, and Duff's, located just minutes from the airport, is perfect for grabbing a bite the evening before an early morning flight. The wings did not disappoint -- they retained their crispiness even when sauced, and were tender and juicy on the inside. The location has plenty of parking and is easy to access. Stopped in for lunch the other day with a friend from out of town and we tried out the wings. It had been awhile since he had some wings, and this was the spot he picked. It had a great vibe that day and that helped being right after the holidays. It was around 12:30 so it was a bit busy with a lunchtime rush. The service was great as we walked in and were sat at a table immediately. Our server came over and got our order within a few minutes and the food came out very quickly. They were working like a well-oiled machine from start to finish. As for the wings, they were pretty great. I am a big fan of most wings in Buffalo and these are always an option when I think about going out for wings. We went with a mild-medium, medium-hot and a cajun bbq for the flavors. I don't like a lot of extra sauce on wings but these were delicious so it was worth it. We also had a side of fries which is the perfect side for wings besides the carrots and celery. My only drawback was the price. I get it, these are a premium item, economy and all that. But if I can go down the street and get a large pizza and 20 wings for less than I paid for 30 wings here, I chose that. Again, these wings are really good and it was a special occasion but I couldn't afford to order wings from here all the time. I will definitely be back for more and try some other things on the menu too!

The bartender immediately came over and greeted me. She was so friendly and welcoming! I ordered the Ellicottville Brewing Company Blueberry Wheat, which was served with a handful of blueberries. It was incredible! For my food, I couldn't order anything but Buffalo wings. I decided on an order of 10 bone in wings with the Medium Light sauce. I loved how clearly they explain all the sauce options on the menu - that was much appreciated! The wings were incredible! The sauce had the perfect amount of heat and they were so good. I'm also a flats fan, so I appreciated the unintended large amount of flats! Overall, a must if you're a fan of Buffalo wings. The wings, beer and service are fantastic!
Grabbed a seat at the bar, the bartender working there was super nice, friendly and easy going. The interior was of your typical bar/restaurant style. After getting a beer, I ordered fried pickles and 10 wings, 5 hot and 5 spicy garlic parm. Fried pickles and the wings were over fried unfortunately. Because it was over fried, the wings were hard to eat and dried. Thank goodness for the beer to wash it down. Please work on your frying time and don't over fry the wings! Went in with high expectations, walked out very disappointed.
I love how the lemon pepper wings were cooked. Very crispy and perfectly juicy in the inside! Restaurants to-go service was very quick and staff is attentive and friendly. Clean environment and nice music too!

Tried out Duff's today after hearing years of recommendations and walked away impressed, would certainly recommend you try. Asked the waitress for signature flavors for me to try and she recommended the sweet Cajun and char BBQ flavors. Both were very tasty and the wings were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crunch. read more

Met up with a few work colleagues, there were 7 of us. They do not take reservations, but we were easily sat at noon. For the table size felt the timing was good. Our server was sweet and stayed on top of everything. We ordered 70 wings with different sauces, and honey Cajun was my favorite!!! We also ordered some fries for the table. These were disappointing, although cooked well, both bowls of fried were basically little broken fries. Felt like we got the end of the frozen bag of fries. read more
Visiting my hometown of Buffalo, NY, we had a chance to stop by Duff's. I haven't been here in years. One thing I can say, they have not lost their touch! We ordered the mild wings, char bbq wings and fries. Everything is delightful! A must try if you're in the area! read more

Another amazing dinner at Duffs! We had an order of bbq and another of medium light and enjoyed them so much! The service was great and always love being able to watch the football games on all the TVs they have on the restaurant! read more
I stopped into this place on a layover, as the hotel shuttle could get you there and back within 5 mins, and let me tell you, the wings were phenomenal. My pilot recommended this place, and I couldn't thank him enough. The restaurant was super clean, and what you'd expect from a wing place, and the drinks were strong and the waitress kept them coming. Place is on the cheap side, and be prepared to come eat because they have an option for like a 45 wing basket and like 400 French fries (I'm not joking lol). Can't wait until I'm on another layover to check this place out again! read more

Duff's wings are the only wings I'll eat! When traveling thru Buffalo we always stop and eat here... my family for the wings, me for the fries. I don't even like wings, yet I find myself eating Duff's wings because they are different - they are good!!! Very good!!! And the fries are also some of the best! Service is also always great! Also, no idea why Duff's doesn't have more stars! It is definitely 5 star worthy! read more
I had some hesitation to come here because of a few not so stellar reviews. I ordered the medium buffalo wings. They came out still steaming hot. As you can see, these wings were not scrawny or skinny. They had a good amount of meat. The Buffalo flavor was good. It says that the medium is hot, and it was a sauce with a kick, but it didn't really kick my butt. So overall it was very enjoyable, and they came out with a good sized cup of blue cheese and celery and carrots. The Coors light draft was on special that night, and the beer was nice and cold. I sat at the bar and the bartender kept checking back with me if everything was good and if I needed anything. So overall it was a very good experience. I do feel that the wings were pricey, above the average price of an order of wings. read more

We are never disappointed when we head out for wings at the Duff's in Depew! There were five of us and getting two of the 20 wings/large fries/small pitchers was the perfect amount of food for us. We always go with the medium light and the char-b-q as our wing staples .... And added some sweet Cajun this time .... They were all delicious... tasty sauces and perfectly crispy!! This location has a lot of tvs to watch sports... we were able to watch the Preakness last night while eating outside on the patio. The service is always good here.... Our wings came out before we knew it... along with the rest of the order. Our server Stephanie was awesome ..... and perfectly timed a take home order that we were bringing back for another Duffs fan. A few other things that we love about Duffs are the celery and blue cheese that are served with the wings.. huge and crunchy celery and some of the best blue cheese in the area for my money. And don't forget to order gravy on the side for your fries... love their gravy!!! Keep up the great work Duffs! You are a WNY tradition!! read more

Our first time to Buffalo, so we had to have wings! We rolled into Duffs and ordered the cheese sticks and wings. It was all delicious. We had some Canadian beers and really enjoyed our time there. The service was very friendly and helpful!! The restaurant itself was older, but it was clean and not too loud. We were hoping to eat here again before we went home, but we ran out of time! read more

Best wings in Buff! Love this location, they always cook them crispy and come HOT out of the fryer. We love the char-bq!! Always get fries and gravy this is a non-negotiable. The outdoor patio with sports on their outdoor TVs is THE spot over the summer. Quick and friendly service always. 5 stars FA SHO! read more

These wings are phenomenally better than Anchor. I don't believe the whole "Our Hot=Very, Very Hot" gimmick, as it was medium at most. If I swing by again, I'll be sure to grab the death sauce to actually get a kick. Overall, the lunch price was great, the $5 Duff beers were amazing, and the service was great! If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back! read more
Everything is really SAD.... Go Anchor Bar for the original buffalo wings! All plates are wet and not clean. Things are sticky, feeling filthy. My salad dressing poppyseed is spoiled and taste cancer attacking. Never again. read more
