Update: Just received a call from John the manager of the restaurant. He profusely apologized for the quality issue and made a very sincere appeal to give his store another chance. He also offered to compensate me for the trouble by refunding the previous order. I was very pleasantly surprised and very pleased by his effort to reach out and the sincerity of his apology. Very impressed by this customer service standard and will now certainly give the place another chance. Original Review: Very disappointed with my last order. I have ordered from this place via ubereats quite a few times for delivery and the food has always been great. Very close to shakeshack quality BUT this last time I ordered on Jan 15, i was shocked by the quality of food that was delivered. I ordered a single cheese burger and a fried chicken sandwich. Strangely the buns were the size of a burger king whopper bun, much larger than the normal sandwiches from this place. The cheese burger quality was even lower than a wendys sandwich and about the same as a burger king sandwich. The fried chicken sandwich did not have the usual hand battered piece of chicken but was a frozen chicken patty which was still cold inside. I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! Not sure if anyone else has noticed this very strange and significant drop in quality. I was craving this place today but based on the latest experience, i will be staying away. After our order got lost in the shuffle and my son and I were left waiting for a while, the manager came over to us of his own initiative (I hadn't even complained!) and went above and beyond to make it up to us. This was the second time, my wife and I ordered takeout from BurgerFi. Both times the food has been spot on. The burgers are very tasty. Plus the fries( we had Cajun ) and onion rings stayed nice and crispy, on the ride home. You could compare BurgerFi to other quick burgers places, but I won't. Just go to BurgerFi and try their food, you won't be disappointed. Eating there gives you the choice of many drinks including soda and beer. Plus the staff are extremely nice. The food here was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was nice and didn't make you feel like you were sitting in a "fast food" restaurant. The prices for the amount of food was great. The cheeseburger was so good and so filling and the onion rings and fries were amazing! Everything was perfectly seasoned, nothing was over salty and it all tasted fresh. Why do they get 3 stars , here's why burgers and chicken sandwiches are incredible can't doubt that, but the fries are always a dice roll. You never know if you're going to get sloppy soggy or burnt to a crisp; can you guys please meet somewhere in the middle then you'd have about five stars every time. Another thing some of the staff need to learn how to answer the phone, I stood inside the establishment while the phone rang for 15 minutes straight. Not professional at all ! They just opened here in Brooklyn. I've been to another BF in Florida previously and had a good experience there, too. This is a sit in made as you order burger joint. The staff are super friendly, the service was quick, and the burger was great. Tons of seating and super clean. I had the breakfast all day burger. Had lunch there today with my buddy who highly recommends. The place is extremely clean. I experienced the "CEO" burger. What an amazing flavor. And great description by the young lady behind the counter. Smiles from everyone as we walked in. The owner was there as well with a most pleasurable and warm welcome as all smiles continued from staff. The seasoned fries were smokin hot, tasty potato. The burger flavor was out of this world. I tend to be very particular about my burgers but thought I would give it a try considering I'm only a few blocks away. First off it has nice atmosphere, cozy, not loud spot and you can basically sit anywhere. The wait was 25 mins this could be because it's a new spot and everyone wants to try it. There menu is very limited!!!! If you don't eat red meat I wouldn't recommend this place. I had a veggie burger and to my shock I was quite pleased with it the bun was soft and delicious and we order a large fries which was absolutely huge!!!!!!! We were three and couldn't get through half the fries. My friends had the meat burger and described it as an average BK burger you can be the judge of what that means. read more

This place beat my expectations by a long shot! I've heard all the reports of it being a Shake Shack clone, but our experience was just as good, if not better... with the added plus of not having to wait on a ridiculous line at all hours. I went with my friend at 5:30 on a Saturday, and it wasn't that packed (some might not be so lucky), we got our food within 15 minutes. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the burgers are off the hook!. I had the CEO burger, cry/fry combo, my friend had the same and a chocolate brownie concrete that was great. The wagyu/brisket combo in the CEO burger was super juicy, but it wasn't as greasy and much, much tastier than 5 Guys. The meat itself is on par with, maybe a little better than a Double Shack Stack, which is saying a lot. I will be back for sure as much as possible. read more

I definitely recommend going to Burgerfi. I've been there several times, and each time the food has been spectacular. Their menu offers a variety of burgers, sides, shakes, etc. with some healthy twists that I love. For example, you could request lettuce instead of buns around a burger. Staff: The staff is very professional and extremely friendly! They've always gotten my order correct, and they've served it with a smile. Points in my book for that. Atmosphere: Burgerfi has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. There's plenty of seats inside, as well as an additional seating area outside. Disclaimer: Just a simple, cold, raw, honest review as a burger aficionado (I've even tried the big names; In-N-Out, PDQ, and Carl's Jr. which are not in NYC as well as MilkBurger, Five Guys, and Shake Shack numerous times). I was VERY much interested in trying this place and did, shortly after the grand opening. Let's cut to the chase: it's mediocre 'high-end' fast food. It was OK but forgettable. My first impression of the establishment when we approached the counter was that it was an obvious knock-off of Shake Shack but with a different name. Exactly the same ordering style and setup, including the devices that vibrate and light up when your food is at the counter. The overall design of the place is very nice. Very spacious, nicely light with plenty of seating in and out of the restaurant. However, the food failed to satisfy myself and my company. I ordered the BurgerFi Cheeseburger (your usual double cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato and their special BurgerFi sauce to spruce up the foundation. More toppings are an added charge) with regular fries, Cheese Sauce and BurgerFi Chili (separately). My company tried the BurgerFi CEO with plain fries. He tried the burger first and before I can take a bite he told me that the patty lacked flavor. The natural beef fat and juice that rolls off a good patty was never to be found. My fingers were DRY. I'm wondering how the beef is stored/cooked that it was missing this essential quality. Anyway, the bread was very soft and plump and came with the cute BurgerFi branding. The BurgerFi sauce was virtually tasteless. Perhaps I got a light amount? Perhaps it was lightly seasoned? Who knows. It was extremely busy on that Saturday night. The fries, although not plentiful, were delicious. The cheese was hot and the chili sauce was good. It has a mild heat to it for those curious (not for children lol). I spent exaclty $13.84 for my meal and was not left muffin-topping out of my jeans nor were my hands food-dirty (bad sign), as opposed to the $12.61 at Five Guys (double cheeseburger with everything and regular fries) which always results in a temporary food coma and a change of clothes.The food was just too lack luster for me and if you are charging that much money, I'd expect it to have a unique twist on the burger joint concept that sets it apart from the rest of its competitors OR come with a huge portion (larger patties, more fries, more free toppings, etc). It fell short on all counts. However, if you are hard pressed to find higher quality fast food in the area, then I'd recommend it. read more

Excellent burgers! Such a great addition the area. The people that answer the phone are so friendly. I accidentally ordered a pickup online when it was meant for delivery. I called and she took care of my problem right away. Food came in about 45 minutes and was delicious. I got the conflicted burger. Beef patty and a veggie patty. Delicious and perfectly seasoned.
