Just your typical city burger joint. Nothing special about this establishment. One thing that I'd like to mention is they charge for any extra condiments (sauces etc) and that always bugs me. I've tried their burgers... mediocre. Bread is soggy and burger falls apart (they overload it with thousand Island sauce). Chili fries are very bland and they are skimpy with the cheese. This was our usual go-to spot, food is decent but a little over priced. But the real deal breaker is that they ALWAYS screw up your order. It happens numerous times and even now, I had to repeat myself twice, he repeated it back to me and STILL messes up my order. I had to drive back and explain it to the younger guy and he seemed confused like he wasn't familiar with all of their own menu. Ugh! Strike 3, you're out! I will not be returning to Burger Stop! YUM! I was driving by looking for somewhere to get a snack at and arrived here.. I went through the drive through and ordered chicken taquitos.... OMG delicious! I waited for about 5 mintues only because they were cooking them fresh. Included was 3 chicken taquitos with lettuce on the side and a huge side of fresh chunky guacamole. Food is great... Service is the worst ! I live about a block away, this is my go to spot because the food is good and it's close by ... But omg they need to change thier staff. I placed a phone order from across the st because I had to pick some things up from raplhs I placed an order for a Jr cheese burger combo .. the rude lady said it would take 20 minutes. .. there was no one in there drive thru and like 5 cars parked outside .. I place an order last week for like 3 combos and they said 10 minutes and it was ready in 10 minutes !... If you're wondering why I placed phone orders .. they take forever when you drive up to the place and order . So I get to the place 10 minutes earlier ... And they don't phone my phone order ! They never put it in ! Among the many bad visits I've had here they have messed up my order countless times and they always skip out on the cheese. FLY IN MY FOOD!!!!! Okay, this is what happened. I ordered steak and eggs in the drive-through. Asked for a hot sauce but the employee gave me hot salsa. I don't mind it's not a big deal. Got back home and started eating. The eggs tasted kind of funny but that's okay. I just ate around it. Took a couple of bites added a little hot salsa and there it is... A FLY!!...right inside the salsa. I felt like throwing up. Called Burger Stop right away. The drive-through girl told me that she remembers me. Although I can't get a refund or anything like that until I speak with the manager. After one hour I was finally able to speak with a manager. Told him what had happened. He offered store credit. I refused, stating that this shows lack of sanitation and I don't plan on ever eating there again. Offered to show him my food that was barely eaten. He still refused to give me refund. In the end, I refused the store credit. This is a matter of principle. Why would I pay for food that I barely ate and with "extra" topping on it? I've been going over here for several months. I've been coming here for a few years now and have never been disappointed till very recently. The last 2 times I've gone through the drive through have been nothing but frustrating. The woman they have taking orders has trouble understanding or hearing what is being said through the speaker. I'm Pescatarian, so I had ordered fish & chips and I had to repeat myself at least 5 times until she understood. I finally get my food, get home and open up the container and I have chicken strips and fries. I ended up calling the restaurant to let them know that they had made a mistake. The woman who answered basically put the blame on me saying that I should've double checked everything. I tried explaining that this isn't the first time that this has happened, but I kept getting cut off by being told that I was only charged for the chicken. I was willing to pay the difference but it just seemed like she wasn't interested in the conversation so I just left it as is. Make sure you check your order before leaving this place!!! VERY UPSET! Not only can I hear them laughing while I was in the drive thru , they took forever for the food. GET IT TOGETHER BURGER STOP!!!! I have really been a fan of the breakfast burritos, but they seem to be very hit or miss lately. The last time I was here, the debit/atm feature was broken so I couldn't even pay for the food I had waited quite a while for in the drive thru (would have been useful information at the speaker), and I have noticed more an more frequently my order has been wrong. This morning I ordered a HAM AND EGG breakfast burrito and asked at the speaker and the window if they could please make sure there was salsa in my burrito. After an approx 13 min wait I got my burrito and went on my way. When I got to work and opened up my burrito, it was sausage and egg and didn't have any salsa. You have one job Burger Stop!!!
