20 minutes in drive thru and I still don't have my food! This is the most ridiculously slow BK I've ever had the misfortune of visiting

I HATE BURGER KING! The food is nasty and not good quality and place the service is slow and bad and the place looks terrible and gross and not clean or sanitary and never come here it is not worth it McDonald's and chick-Fil-A are better then this place the employees are just not happy and look bored. I genreally like Burger King, but this is the worst place on earth. I am trying to get through quickly, and there is only one car in drive through so I am thinking it will be a reasonable experience. Unfortunately, the drive through takes forever and when I finally get waited on, the lady tells me she is sorry for the wait but she and her manager were playing games so that they could decompress...she said we have to have fun or we will go crazy. Ok, not ideal, but whatever. I finally get my food and it is cold, not just "not hot", but cold. I park and go in and the 3 ladies working there are having a great time joking around and there is no sense of urgency to my issue. The drive through lady sales she is remaking them. After several minutes of what seemed to be a lack of understanding of how the broiler and customer service works, I told them to just forget it. BK has my money and I have no food....stay away from this place. In addition, the place looked disgusting. I am going to report this location to health services. read more

We waited in line inside the store about 10 minutes before even being helped. But the men in front of us were helped right away and even got their food before we walked out. Maybe that's why nobody comes here and the dining room is often empty! read more

I only usually go to typical fast food for my kids and I usually avoid certain places that have had bad experiences with. BK in Palencia was one of those places. But recently, someone had a chicken fry craving and I didn't want to drive up to Southside. I called ahead because one of the bad experiences was being closed during normal hours and luckily, they answered and said they were open until the advertised time. We took the gamble and went. We had great service from James who is a manager in training. We asked about the change in hours and he shared that they've changed all of their management and crew and business is starting to build back. He was so polite, I thought I was at CFA. I'm not a fan of their food but my kids are and they said it was fresh and accurate. The only thing I would suggest is a sprucing up the exterior. read more

I usually dont like to eat at fast food restaurants but I had the kids with me so we stopped by for some burgers and fries. The place looked well kept on the outside and the inside is pretty decent. The restroom is a bit gross, there is mold around the sink, I'm really hoping management will do something about that. By consuming 677 calories in one Whopper, the burger was super mediocre and cold. The meat also tasted old, the bread was soggy and only a tiny piece of lettuce and tomato. Thankfully the chicken sandwich my sister had tasted a lot better as well as their fries. I'm not sure if I would want to come back here again, maybe in another 5 years :) read more

I'm not big on fast food. My wife is and BK is her favorite. This BK is less than 5 min from our house and she said this place is so bad that she's gone to a different BK further from our house because of how many bad experiences she's had at this location. Shame on us for giving them another chance. We pulled into the drive through around 955A on a Sunday and the lunch menu was up. My wife was hoping for whatever a breakfast burrito so she was a little confused as to why the lunch menu was up. The person on the mic greeted us and my wife asked if it was breakfast or lunch. The response was it's still breakfast but we already flipped the signs. My wife is a BK fiend so she knew what she wanted but what if she wasn't...it would have been tough to pick from a menu that was in front of you. She ordered her burrito and we pulled up to the second window. The lady was very nice and took my wife's credit card. As she was waiting for the card to process she was on the headset taking someone else's order. We heard her tell the customer behind us that they don't have hot water to make a coffee. She was completely serious and then told one of her coworkers to heat up a cup of water in the microwave. I like the willingness to make it work for the customer but how does a BK operate without hot water?!? My wife said her burrito tasted good but was smaller than they normally are. read more

I've written off BK for a while because I couldn't find one that seemed to care. I work in the road, so I am constantly eating out and the past month my route has taken me past this Burger King. I always get the no.9 with onion rings. This is the first BK that I've been to in a while that has been consistent. The onion rings were actually hot and crispy and looked like rings. Other spots they'd be mush. The chicken sandwich is hot and juicy, not over mayo'd, not over lettuce'd. The drive thru window is pleasant and the person at the window is very nice. Overall a great experience, I'll continue to come back to this BK u til my onion rings start to be mushy. It's the small details. Thank you BK. read more

Obviously it's fast food so it's not the best service/ food quality won't be the best. But inside there are ants on the food. That's just gross and this place needs to get cleaned because if they're on the front counter imagine where else they are. read more

Why is this location open till 12am. Anytime you go late at night, you get the worst service ever. The staff are just pissed off to be there and more pissed that you are placing an order. Last night after a high school football game, we ordered 3 meals. The young man asked us if we wanted ketchup probably 4 times during process. We said no each time. We got our 3 drinks and a heavy bag. We did not check the food until we got home. One of the sandwiches was completely missing. Our dipping sauce was missing and the bag was so full of ketchup! Sad. This has to be one the worst places in the world. SO, I'm sick and having some breathing issues. I needed a drink a so my wife pulled into the drive through. Simple 10 piece nugget and a drink. The nuggets were for our son. We were told $3 and some change. We pull up and have the man a $5 bill and the man asked "would you LIKE some cheese sticks" the wife said ok. He then said $6+ she oh no thank you. We then watch the guy walk to the side with the window open and hear him say this cheap lady ordered chews ticks but when I said the price she didn't want them.... wtf !!!!! Cheap lady ? First of all the way it was presented was as if they were offering it as a sample. Secondly we aren't big cheese stick eaters and thought meh it's free let's give it a try but nothing we would ever buy. So, the manager walks back to the register with the guy and I asked if she was the mgr. she said yes. I then said ma'am. When the cashier walked back and told said what he said to you it was rude, disrespectful and a lie. She went on to tell me how and what he said all over again leaving out the important details about being "cheap". I kept asking for my money back and she kept speaking over me. I don't get it. This is kind of the norm for this Burger King always slow, rude and just plain unprofessional. We drove up the street to Wendy's and wow they are top notch !! read more

Okay everybody knows I'm not a fast food fan when it's crap food(love me some Mom & Pop FF joints, any day of the week)Not been to a BK in a decade & a half if not more cuz their food is crap..(my opinion) Now I've eaten Jack-in-the-Box back in the 80s.. A monster taco & onion rings..420 friendly good of course(I will go out of my way to stop and grab one of those little combos if I see a Jack In The Box during our travels).. So I was thinking it would be close to that when I heard BK was doing a run at Taco's.. All I can say is IT'S dog and cat food mixed together & in a greasy taco shell of hell.. Worst food ever... I bought 2 just to see..I took a bite out of each and then the rest went to the Paws(dogs).. Their onion rings are made out of minced crap fried to look like a Onion Ring..No real onion flavor.. I tried to put ketchup on them & that didnt even make ya want to eat them.. Still GROSS..Since the Paws can't have onions (onions make your dogs anemic=bad mojo) They went to trash.. If you're a b BK fan they're all yours..( no hate or disrespect) I won't be going back & taking them away from you.. If you're not a BK fan my suggestion.. STAY the HELL AWAY, don't even try it.. Approx: 0930. Just picked up 4 freshly cooked sausage, egg, cheese croisanwichs in drive through. They were flattened like pancakes...all.of.them. I know they have had staffing problems recently, but I could always rely on a croisanwich to at least look like a light,airy croissant bun and not smashed flat, at this store. So it's obvious to me, there has been a change in staff preparing the morning sandwichs. This is by far the SLOWEST drive-through i sat in the drive through for over 30 minutes with only 4 cars ahead of me. Then when I finally made it up there of course my food was ready...it was COLD and they got the order wrong. Just spent 28 minutes at the drive-thru without paying for our food or getting our order. 4 minutes was spent sitting at the cashier window which remained closed the entire time. There was a cashier and manager who would not make eye contact and pretended we weren't there. The line in front of us was about 4 cars deep; behind us it was even worse. We saw multiple cars leave but we could not exit until we got to the cashier window. If the franchise owner can't adequately staff the restaurant, then why bother opening for business. The reviews for this particular BK location are mostly negative so BK corporate needs to get on the franchise owner. read more

Was told they're out of bacon, manager said "we've all been waiting, you need to get some patience." To a customer in front of me. Speaker box is broken on drive thru, they only keep one door unlocked on the entire building (had to walk all the way around). They were perfectly and 100% okay with 4 customers walking away from their business. This is an amazing example of management that has no business experience, and horrible unprofessional behavior. Absolutely hands down the worst Burger King I have ever been to. The only reason I come here is the price. The customer service is terrible. There's trash all over the floors/counters. Flies land in your food constantly if you dine in. They never get your order right either, check before you leave. 100% of the time they are out of Mocha Iced Coffee. I've been working in the area for over a year now and have been checking back every few weeks to see if things have gotten better. They aren't. I REALLY hope someone in upper corporate reads yelp and does something about this store. Or Just trash it and replace it with a Chik Fil A. read more

We stopped here on our way to St. Augustine and had the most pleasant experience. The customer service was so great, even though there were only two people working. The only downsides were that it was hot inside (no a/c) and the fries weren't really fresh. The lady that took our order was so patient and helpful. I would definitely return here. read more

I had to grab a quick bite on the run...I regretted my choice. When I pulled into the drive through, I gave my order, and another order was automatically on the screen. The cashier quoted a different price than what was on the screen, so I proceeded to the second window. I received my value sized diet lemonade and then my whopper jr. no mayo, no onion. I noticed that the sandwich indeed had mayo, so they remade it. The second sandwich didn't have cheese, so I had to go inside. The manager quickly apologized, but she didn't offer anything for my trouble. This is the worst Burger King ever. It's so bad that when giving directions to your house you can say "take a left at the Bad Burger King" and everyone knows exactly where to turn. When you order the odds that you can get what you want are not in your favor. Most times they will be out of something or the machine will be broken or having maintenance done or being defrosted etc etc. if you can place your order it's likely the order will have some issue missing items etc. The one thing about this Burger King is the consistency. They have been bad since I got here in 2015 and I'm never surprised at the poor experience with most visits. read more

I stopped by here this morning to get breakfast. I ordered a Bacon Egg and Cheese biscuit meal through the drive through. The hash browns were burned (that is better than underdone) but they tasted like they had been soaked in motor oil (my guess is that they have not changed the oil in the fryer for months). The coffee was cold and only half filled but the biscuit was so hot it literally blistered my thumb. It was also soggy and tasteless. Apparently they prepare this in advance and microwave them. The service was faster here than it is at the International Golf Parkway location where they seem to hire zombies, but the product was not better. I try to avoid BK for breakfast because their breakfasts, to be blunt, are lousy. Their burgers are good, but service in St Aug is lousy. Stay away from BK breakfasts. I repeat, the biscuit was so nuked that it gave me a blister on my thumb. When you are driving, you cannot just drop something that hot into your lap. read more

Definitely the nicest Burger King I've ever been to. Brand spankin' new, and it's located right near the main Palencia entrance, although it's off to the side by it's lonesome. Plenty of parking, and the place is super clean and nice when you walk in. They have really nice electronic menus on the walls, and one of those new Coke machines where you can make a million different drink combos. Pretty fancy! Service was great when I was there, the cashier was super friendly, got the order right, and it didn't take long to get the food. The food? Ever had Burger King? Tastes EXACTLY like that. I don't eat fast food very often, however I do crave the taste of a flame-broiled double whopper with cheese every once in a while. Not too crazy about their new thick cut fries, I loved their old ones, but they were still tasty. I would give this place a five star rating if compared to other BK's- new and clean, service was great, and the food was just what you'd expect. However I have trouble giving five stars to any fast food drive-thru. However, if you're in the area, and you're craving some Burgers, definitely stop in and you'll drive away happy. read more

It took us 10 mins to be able for someone to take our order. Once we got our order token, we had to repeat our order bout 8/7 times before they finally got it right. I had ordered a coke icee, I went to take a sip it tasted sour as if the machine hadn't been cleaned or if it's just been sitting there for days and they finally decided to turn it on and use the coke. I'm 5 months pregnant so I wasn't to happy bout that. I had a Hershey pie and they thru it with the hot food and it was all melted. Much like their tv personality politician, I scoffed at the sight of brown lettuce on my chicken sandwich, which must have passed a dozen eyes and no one thought, "Hey! That lettuce looks like last week's disregarded rabbit food! We can't put that on a sandwich!" Instead, "f-it" was the response and management didn't give a crap either. Very dirty inside, where we entered due to a line of about 12 vehicles in the drive thru. The few tables that were not closed off were dirty with crumbs and food and drink smears. The area behind the counter was also dirty and littered with paper wrappers, cups and misc. refuse. Did not stay to eat, due to the unsanitary conditions inside. read more
