We were invited to a Yelp Elite Valentine Event. The location is beautiful. The walls have beautiful murals on them. You must walk up and order your food and then it is brought to your table. We ordered the Tijuana trio the chicken flautas, steak flautas, and blackened chicken tacos. Brian: Blackened Chicken Tacos - Shells were soft and the chicken was flavorful. steak flautas - They came with pico, sour cream, guacamole. The steak was tender and the shell was soft. They were good Tj: Chicken Flautas - They came with pico, sour cream, guacamole. The flautas were amazing. The flautas were more than enough food to take home. They also come with chips and salsa

I went during the week around lunchtime It was calm & quiet.Everyone was very attentive making suggestions on the menu. Those atom bombs were my favorite cream cheese & jalapeno wrapped in dough with a sweet chili sauce .They have a wide variety of hot sauces to try and buy

Lee M was our all around girl when we visited Tijuana Flat in Ponte Vedra. We felt so welcome, and Lee gave us the royal treatment. We felt like a king and queen. Flautas were hot and tasty. However, the Juana in Tijuana were those atom bombs filled with cream cheese. Oh, what a sensational flavorful atom bomb. We quenched our flavorful treats with an orange soda and a cold one. Tijuana gives off a Mexican vibe but state side. Thanks, Yelp, for having this. Thank you, Tijuana, for the tasty meal.

Update. I had gone in to pick up an order for someone else and the manager was right there so I asked him about my previous problems since no one would email me back. Even with that comment saying to email xyz. He told me that they changed the recipe for the chimichanga and if I want it how I got it back in the day I need to ask for no queso. I went ahead and ordered 1 the way we talked about with no queso and it was good with a crunch! No wet mush! We also got a steak burrito which was good too! I do wish they grilled the burrito or something but overall it was yum.

Customer service was a 10/10! The cashier was friendly and informative. She was helpful. One worker brought the food to our table since we were seated. And later checked on us. The food portions were great! I really love the hot sauce bar even though I don't use hot sauce. They have sweet Thai chili sauce at the bar! I love love that stuff. My floutas were good. I do wish they were a bit crispier. I love the chips that come with the meal. Also, I just love the indoor decor! Local artists is so cool!

The food and service and the place is so great!! I will say from the time we walked in we were treated with kindness and they gave great suggestions!! The app of the trio was fresh and hot and the guac was fresh and so creamy!! We had both the chicken and the steak flautas. I will say the steak was great think fajita that's fried and the chicken had good flavor. All paired with chips and all the fixings so much food!! The sauce bar is my fave the Georgia peach is my jam. Go go go to nocatee and enjoy!!

    So good!

During COVID-19 we've been ordering in takeout. We were craving Tijuana Flats, so that's what we ordered. Their online ordering system is easy. I placed my order (beef chimichanga, with queso and a side of guac), and my husband got a burrito. We opted to do pickup. Went to the front counter to check to see where our order was, and they said they didn't have a ticket, waited a few minutes and saw a bunch of different orders on tables, based on which ordering platform you ordered from. Our order was there, just under my husband's first name. We got our meal home and everything was made the way we liked it. I popped mine in the oven for a few minutes, because we don't live right around the corner. A few minutes in the oven was perfect, as the chips came out crisp. The guac tasted super fresh. The chimichanga was delicious, crisp outside, and the beef was nicely seasoned. Pros: -Ease of ordering online -Orders were correct -Food tasted good Cons: -My inability to take a photo of my meal -There was some confusion regarding online orders Tips: -Make sure if they have tables set up with to-go orders, to check and make sure it's not under your first/last name.

5 stars for good service, super clean establishment and friendly staff. This specific location has lots of light coming into the restaurant and a lovely outdoor area to sit outside if desired. Food came out super quick, only observation, they didn't have trash cans on the outdoor area or indoors, they did have someone cleaning tables and taking all trash from people.

"The stars at night are big and bright...(clap,clap,clap) deep in the heart of Texas" With our recent move to Saint Johns, and COVID lessening our adventurous spirits, we haven't had a chance to really explore our new surroundings. It was our first visit to the Nocatee Town Center and there is a lot happening there! This was also our first visit to Tijuana Flats, so we can check off two adventure boxes for this one. This was also our first Tex-mex place in a really long time, so we broke a lot of new ground with this outing. The restaurant is colorful and clean. The server was polite and was willing to answer any questions that we had about the menu and even give us some suggestions. As we waiting for our food we got to explore the myriad of sauce options. Unfortunately, they were out of the Georgia Peach & Vidalia hot sauce, which I really wanted to try, but there were still some good ones left. They also had social-distancing reminders on the floor, which was nice to see. Fast-forward, we got home and dug into the food. I ordered the steak fajita tacos. They were good, but I think I was expecting something a little more fancy based on the really exuberant marketing of the new product. They were, essentially, tacos with fajita steak and vegetables. I don't want to downplay, they were good, but I guess I was expecting a little more. That said, I think it can be a really versatile offering and could be offered on a bowl of lettuce for a low-carb option. I digress, all-in-all, I think that if we're getting the bug for Tex-mex we will definitely visit the restaurant again and try some of their other offerings.

While I LOVED the Ham and Gruyère melt, it was nicely toasted but cold :(. It wasn't warm, like at all. The flavor was still amazing though so I ate it as is. The salad was also surprisingly flavorful! I was able to save half for a leftover lunch and can't wait to order it again sometime. I needed a to-go cup to and had to go track one down from the host stand while waiting a long time for our food. My child got the kids half waffle. I always wish it was a full size waffle since they love to order the waffle but usually get hungry shortly after since it's half and it comes with the teeny condiment size fruit cup unlike some other kids menu items. Usually even the teeny cup is filled quite a bit but today it was 3 pineapple pieces and one grape . The bacon was really soft and not crispy so it wasn't eaten. The drink came without a straw, so I had to go get one from the host stand since our server didn't stop back by until the food was brought out and I didn't have any luck getting their attention before then. The most annoying part today was being a charged a new "packaging supplies" fee on a to-go order for another family member. I know it's only $.50 but to me, that's the cost of doing food business and wasn't disclosed before ordering. Today's whole experience would have been rated even lower, especially compared to my other visits if it hadn't been lifted up by how great my meal tasted and the fact that we usually love to come here. Hoping next time is better - and now we won't order to-go meals any more.

But the chips themselves were a little lackluster. Not a huge deal though, and they were really just a vehicle to get guacamole and salsa to my mouth lol. Everything is better with some bubbles! We also did end up ordering some ceviche and that was great! The ladies behind the bar were wonderful. Fun to chat with a little and great service! When La Nopalera decided to over-expand and their quality went downhill, Casa Maria was a good time out. Last night, my wife and I went for the first time in ages. I can always tell when a restaurant actually cares about their customers by the music. For an authentic experience, many will play music that matches the culture and ambiance of the food. For instance, the best Thai food I've had in Jacksonville is the Blue Orchid on Atlantic, because not only is their decór Thai, but the music they play suits the atmosphere. Now, when you walk in to Casa Maria, your hit with a very hard Sports Bar vibe. The music is 1980's, and the walls are covered in TV's, Jacksonville Jaguar logos and colors, and big 'DUUUUUUUUVAL' across the menu. It is no longer a Mexican restaurant... it's a sports bar that serves passable Mexican food. We ordered a California burrito with chicken to split, after we finally managed to catch our waitresses attention. It came quick enough, but the chicken was dry and over-cooked. Honestly, I've gotten better food at a food truck. The constant noise of songs like "Careless Whisper" and "Mr. Blue Sky" made it incredibly annoying to have to sit there, along with the TV "wallpaper". Maybe I should be happy that they don't have Day of The Dead decór everywhere, like every OTHER Mexican restaurant has decided to do. Not going back. Highly recommend you save your money and find a small Abuelita-style Mexican restaurant to give your money to,

Now, this location has a slightly different menu than the one in Savannah but still has a few of their popular dishes such as the Treylor Park Nachos Grande, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, PB&J Wings, and Treylor Park Pot Pie! I always order the Treylor Park Nachos... it's a massive tray of waffle fries plus a healthy amount of toppings such as pickles, fried chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese with chive ranch & balsamic gastrique. I mean it's a meal of WAFFLE FRIES with enough for myself, to share, and leftovers for when I get home from the drive there! LOL! The Treylor Park Pot Pie is really good too. It's basically chicken pot pie filling in a fried burrito with some pico de gallo on top. My friends ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes... which she loved and was a first for me. Verdict: I liked them.
