These beverages are called "Frozen Cokes" and "Frozen Fanta" (blue something or other and cherry). Pulverized ice, sugar, flavoring and some kind of color for $2 - any size. I got off the Saugarties exit and drove straight into the drive thru at this McDonalds. Moments later and just over $2 gone (think the tax was 14 cents), I had my "Frozen Coke". My inner child danced and I got back on the road. Then, a little over a week later, I was on my way to NJ and stopped here with my fast-food loving companion to both use the restroom and grab actual fast food. The review on the Big Mac was good and I did eat some of the fries (hot and crispy - the way they're supposed to be). And, of course, I had my frozen coke. So, if you're gonna hit a McDonalds, this one seems to be pretty good.

I like the taste of this salt here and seem to not get enough that I seem to overdo my visits. As far as the soda's go, their small size soda is the same size as a Large soda over at McDonalds. Yes, prices have gone up slightly in the last couple years, but it's still well worth the price since you can get free refills if you bought your drinks inside. Although service is quite crappy for my parents everytime I go in with them, things are a different story when I enter by myself. Whenever I go in, I don't have a problem with service inside. Things come out rather quickly and communication is great, food is covered and things that had problems for my parents are nowhere near as problematic when I'm there by myself. Seating is also a factor. They do have several seats here at normal heights,but other times it's hard to find a seat and you are almost pushed to take a bar-stool like seat on the sides of the restaurant. More regular seating would be beneficial here.

The toppings held up well, even when I reheated my second burger the next day. The fries, unfortunately, fell a little short. They were a little under-seasoned and a bit flat and soggy. They were still definitely edible and decently fine, but I'm used to other Five Guys scoring extremely high with their fries. I hope next time I go they're better, because then I could raise this place to a 5/5! Overall, I'd totally recommend here for anyone who's hungry for burgers and in the area.
