I never post on Yelp because I hate this platform completely BUT... I was parked at CVS in Kingston right by Taco Bell and my car battery died. A police officer parked next to me while I had the hood of my car open and he didn't offer any assistance. I flagged him down to ask for help and I was told by him that he wasn't allowed to jump my car for liability reasons (I thought it was "to protect and serve"... maybe I'm incorrect)? Anyway--- I didn't order any food but I went in to the business just to ask for help and the staff was super sweet. It's taco bell... what else can I say? Every so often I just like to order a cravings box, it's cheap, fast, and convenient. I came here once in the drive thru, and I gotta admit it was late, so maybe the employees were just tired, but they messed my order up. They gave me the wrong craving box meals I ordered, forgot a couple stuff, honestly I think the guy behind me got my order. I didn't realize it till i got home, tried calling the place but no one picked up. I called the next day the manager apologized, and said they were actually short handed that night. He did offer to replace my whole meal. Went there a couple weeks later, and got my order at no cost, no problems. This place takes the fast out of Fast Food. You will wait, and wait, and then wait some more. There never seems to be a dedicated cashier. Just a random employee will wander over to the register for a couple of minutes and wander back to the kitchen and disappear. They seem to do their very best to avoid communicating with the customers. There is also no one dedicated to expediting the orders. If you order online the pickup for online orders is behind the counter. They just seem to let orders stack up back there without saying anything. Meanwhile you could be standing there waiting to pick up your order only to find you've been staring at it behind the counter for the last 20 minutes. They just didn't bother to call out your name. Just terrible experience. Whoever the manager there is should be fired and replaced. read more

The food was terrible. A few tiny little pieces of chicken I my crunchwrap supreme. Was mostly tortillas not worth almost $6!! I don't know if it's a problem with the person taking the orders or a problem with the people making the food but it's a big liability issue having people give you food that just simply do not give a fuck or dont understand I have allergies to tomatoes and I emphasized a few times that I don't want tomato or lettuce just simply cause I don't like lettuce and I try to go so I have time to eat before work but when I get my food I assume that they did their job that they get paid more than I do to do so when I get to work and go to eat my food to see my order has tomatoes and lettuce both just staring at me I'm gonna be fairly pissed and yeah I could've told them I had an allergy but I shouldn't have to tell them my health problems for them to do their job and I get it I used to work in food service to but it's not hard to follow directions like if you don't like your job enough to not care about customers then get a different job read more

I'd give this zero stars if I could, but apparently that's not an option. Usually when businesses post their hours, I will never show up right when their about to close. ('Cause ya know they have to clean the kitchen and all, and god forbid they're there past the actual serving hours) This one apparently closes even before the hours shown... and if you wait outside they will ignore you. I called them and all I received was the most ill mannered employee ever. Very rude, especially since my friend and I had to drive over an hour to get there for a simple "White Castle" mission burrito. Even the simple times we actually did go inside for some food, we were hit on by the cashier and forced to feel uncomfortable while waiting for food we already paid for. It has been over a year since I lived in NY, however this is the best Taco Bell that I ever ordered from. I worked near this establishment for 3 years and even though it was a 30 minute ride home, I frequented the drive thru to get dinner for me and my husband. Without fail, the food was always superior to other taco bells. Everything seemed fresher and that more time was taken to inspect items for quality. Every time you go to taco bell, it's going to be a good day. Like every other day, today i went to taco bell. I saw the free doritos locos taco offer was today which made my eyes light up. i ordered my free taco, a burrito, and a $1 happy hour drink (all for 3.49, great deal) at the drive thru . i was with two other taco bellers in the car, thus making three separate transactions in one car. We all ordered our free tacos and a burrito. After i payed my $3 order i sat anticipating receiving my tacos. The lovely lady working the drive thru hands me my bag and we quickly drove off because of the long line. upon further inspection to my bag after we had left the beauty of taco bell, i discovered my order was wrong. however, i was not upset because everything at taco bell is good. today, my $3 got me 4 tacos and two burritos. man o man i needed this today. the taco bell gods knew i'd never forget this. i do feel awefull for the order mix up though. i hope the people behind me ended up getting their six items i stole. i thought of turning back and telling the taco bell worker how sorry i was for taking the wrong order. However, with our current situation with corona and the fact that i know they couldn't give another customer an order handled by another car, i decided not to. the drive thru line was very long so i didn't want them to think they needed to get me my food. so, i made the decision to go home. i don't know if it would have been easier to confront taco bell, but i did what i did, and i will have to live with that. i am not in any way mad or upset with taco bell, i simply couldn't be. i will take this as a blessing and thank the taco bell gods for blessing my day read more

Staff is genuinely friendly, food is consistently well-prepared. That is a rarity in fast food and Kingston's Taco Bell deserves a lot of credit. I have yet to eat five star fast food from a major chain but this is probably as close as it gets. read more

They don't seem to know what they are doing.
