So I sent it back to the kitchen for the 3rd time. This time it came back slathered in huge gobs of butter, melting all over the eggs. Now, I had mentioned that I can't have massive amounts of butter because I have a gallbladder condition. So I sent it back for the 4th time. This time, the manager came back with the take out plate piled high with all the pieces of toast I had rejected. It was a huge mess. The manager kept saying he was trying to help me. Help me how? Land me up in the hospital with a gallbladder attack? The next thing I knew was that he was sounding like he was going to throw me out of the diner. I took the toast that remained and threw it in the garbage (actually, the manager took most of it and threw it in the garbage.) Of course, by the time I got home, the food was stone cold. I know we are all under a lot of stress lately. Gas prices have been the last straw. But professionals are supposed to contain their emotions when dealing with customers.
