There was always a balance between the ultra smooth, not so sweet, Chantilly like cream filling and the sweetness that is derived from the chocolate laiden pastrie cap that all made for the perfect bite. Sad to say this is not the case anymore. Smooth has faded to make way for a grainy, inferior filling. If we are paying a premium price shouldn't it be better then Entermenn's? The total was $45 which at first I thought was a little steep but when we got our to-go order and saw the sizes I was blown away. These subs are MASSIVE. And DELICIOUS!!! I could barely finish half of a half at first. I had the rest for dinner and then shared the other half for lunch today. It's a sweet spot to stop for a quick bite on the way or to take on the road with you. They also have pizza by the slice for an even quicker option which can be taken on the road or they have a few tables to dine at. They have an excellent selection of drinks in the coolers like Italian flavored sodas, Brazilian sodas, and your typical Arizona teas and coke or Pepsi products. We were so impressed and sort of disappointed we'd held out so long on stopping by this place. Highly recommend. Portion sizes are large so that is something to consider but the prices are fair and the quality is top notch. I chose take out so I placed my order and then went shopping next door. They had bar seating and tables and one bigger table for larger parties. It's not a huge restaurant. The meatballs are good here. You can get them as a sandwich, with pastas or just meatballs alone. They also have vegan version as well. The store is pretty good. Frozen stuff including their meatballs and lots of other stuff. Hot sauce, chips and more.
