Good! I got two burgers and an order of the small Cajun fries. My burgers were perfectly done and the workers were accommodating with my needs (I have celiac and Five Guys everywhere are infamously great about cross contamination.) The toppings held up well, even when I reheated my second burger the next day. The fries, unfortunately, fell a little short. They were a little under-seasoned and a bit flat and soggy. They were still definitely edible and decently fine, but I'm used to other Five Guys scoring extremely high with their fries. I hope next time I go they're better, because then I could raise this place to a 5/5! Overall, I'd totally recommend here for anyone who's hungry for burgers and in the area. It's good for the price and pretty yummy! read more

My Bacon Cheeseburger Burger palace perfect! Dasher fast and fab. Store forgot my peanut butter and chocolate Milkshake. I could tell soon as Dasher handed me the bag it was light! I had to ask Dasher to look first after I tore seal on delivery bag open, I had to ask Dadher to look in bag first. I've never had one of these Milkshake before and was really looking forwards to tasting it. Yea but, hey human being here. I'll call Doodasher tomorrow. Get charges fixed. I can't believe I'm actually crying over peanut butter and frozen chocolate no spilled Milkshake now. Holy moly. Ignore me please. I put nearly everything on the Bacon Cheeseburger except the kitchen sink plus an extra smash. And after I learned how to handle 3 smash burgers it was so good! Thank you 5 Guys and hope you have a good day and weekend! Yup. I took 2 pictures of my Condo burger tower. As there wasn't any Milkshake. Zero Milkshake pics. I'm sad but I shall live. Bacon Cheeseburger was so good. Thanks. read more

Good burger. Good fries. Good shake. Place was clean service was good No sourkrautt for hot dog ... I was disappointed.

Really that spot i wont lie to ya...thanks for a million extra fries in that wet ass brown bag. Does me just right everytime

I like Five Guys. Today was no different. I (5 star) love their fries and I (3 star) like their burgers. I'm a big guy but still, I suggest the Cheeseburger Jr. The meat to bun ratio on the regular has too much meat for my liking. Order one (1) large fry and feed your entire family for a week. These are awesome and throw on some Heinz ketchup and maybe some malt vinegar to mix it up. Eat right out of the bag. The appetizers are the peanuts and they are decent and plentiful. Don't fill up on them even though they are free. The soda machine has 1000s of combination choices so I'll Come right out and say "Mello Yello with Cherry". Be brave! Oh and no, I don't want to try your shakes but thanks. It's fast food but will give you the greasy burger fix you need. Kingston location is fairly clean, conveniently located but the parking is a bit tricky. The lot is somewhat small so you have to do some maneuvering. read more

Five Guys - Burgers Near Me - Kingston, New York

I don't understand how every other five guys has great fries, and this place always the soggiest fries I have every taste. Mushy and undercooked everything single time. Never had a bad French fry at any other five guys, this place I have had good fries twice since they opened read more

Awesome! In the restaurant space it isn't hard to succeed: all you have to do, is have juicy fresh food and welcome the customers. This Five Guys is barely 2 weeks old when I stop by. Peanuts were not offered, but they had the bags laid out. The 5 guys staff here, are friendly and say "hello, how are you?" All around classic East Coast burgering. This joint in Kingston, rocks. ****** ROUND UP: For take out, personalization, and quantity, Five Guys is the way to go. This Five Guys lacks a little consistency though. If you're looking for meals and are willing to compromise customization for quality, hit up one of the many other surrounding eateries. Compared to other Five Guys: 3/5 Compared to other fast food in the same area: 3/5 Compared to fast food and burger chains all around: 2/5 "Fine," all around, but don't expect to be wowed or for it to really hit the spot. ******* Service: 4/5 Not really a service-heavy restaurant (I mean it's fast food). Very quick and efficient. Atmosphere: 2/5 Regular Five Guys white and red. Kind of depressing. Bad halogen lighting. The tables and chairs didn't look inviting and mostly looked a little... sticky :/ .I know Five Guys doesn't do drive through, but there's a reason no one's eating in here. (This is all in comparison to other Five Guys I've been to.) Cleanliness: 3/5 "Clean enough." Not as clean as most of the surrounding fast food joints, such as the Taco Bell. The metal counters and things were wiped down, but like I said, there looked like there was a sticky dust on the windows. It's been cleaner before and that also made it seem less depressing, so maybe I'm just posting this on a bad day. Product: 3.5/5 (Using Five Guys and Fast-food as a litmus. No comparison to fine dining etc.). While I had a bad experience today, my other experiences with this place have been about the norm for any five guys I've been to. Plenty of fries, however you order them. Same as most FGs. The vegan burgers are a little small, hard, and sad but that's consistent of the brand, not this location. Lots of options just like any, and they usually are only out of two ingredients at a time consistently (usually not the same). The draw of the FGs brand is quantity and lots of personalization, which can be found here. Quality..... eh go elsewhere. There are better burgers all around. -------- Bad Day Experience 2/5 Just a review for today b/c they wouldn't let me post my check in. Service and atmosphere, the usual. 4/5 Cleanliness: lower than average for a fast food place in the area. Lower than it's been on other visits. Actual food: 2/5 (I mean it didn't make me sick, but it was worse than usual). Come on Five Guyssss. Usually one of my favorite places to get fries, but today a big disappointment. I got a large Fries and large soda to share. What ever happened to filling the bag???? There were barely any fries. They were spicier than usual (which I don't mind at all), but it felt like I was getting the amount of spice that was intended for the amount of fries I usually get. On top of that, the soda I got was almost flat and tasted watered down. Big disappointment today :/ read more

Five Guys - "Large" Cajun Fries - Burgers Near Me - Kingston, New York

Always friendly, genuine and efficient. The burgers are great and the management is generous all around.

Thank you for opening your dining area again to customers. It seems like that has increased my presence many times over the last week and although your prices are still high, I see things on your menu that a lot of other places nearby just don't sell - kosher hot dogs are one of these choices. Although when I come in, I don't sit down or stay long, I do sit and wait and watch my order being filled after grabbing my large beverages from the CocaCola FreeStyle machine - another plus from this place that isn't common in Kingston. I'm trying to cut down on my sugar (cutting down on the shakes) and salt (fry) intake, and have found these machines to be a godsend in this changeover period again. I listen to what's said on the door about wearing a mask upon entry, but I don't feel right the way it's worded with masks and food - since you can't feed your face without removing the mask yet, you can't legally remove the mask without a stiff penalty by being caught and that just not right at this time. I've found the hot dogs to be weird looking (cut fully down the middle and spread almost flat on the special hot dog bun cut specifically for Five Guys), but taste absolutely delicious. Made to taste, and even adding sauces you wouldn't think about if prepared at home, I'm beginning to like them here. A few weeks ago when the dining was curbside-only I tried them and thought they were disgusting the more I'm trying them now, I've re-decided my opinion. Also, what happened to your Five Guys-branded free roasted and/or salted nuts? All three times in the past week, I've been on the lookout for them, but have yet to see them again. I mean it's better for my health that their not there, but I do like eating a few while waiting for my meal. read more

The food is very good at Five Guys, and worth the extra money. The location here in Kingston is located across from Burger King, and one plaza down from McDonald's. But the difference in quality is obvious. The Bacon Cheeseburger is made to order, as are all burgerrs and hotdogs. The topping selection is great. read more

Food is bussssssssssss., lil greasy at times but give a good old school shake shack vibes . Cajun fries HIT.,

Great hamburgers and the fries are to die for. Always fresh. The help is polite. What a great place

Only two (2) stars.....not cause I didn't enjoy my burger (I did) but because my wife's burger didn't come prepared as she had ordered it. Store wasn't even at all busy and I stood right there as the burger was clearly ordered. When the order was done and she unwrapped it, was no resemblance to what she told the guy. After telling him, he gave her the missing components (lettuce, tomato, sautéed onions) and was left to her own to reassemble the burger. My personal expectation is that a fast-casual place like Five Guys will get it right, every time. read more

I have always been a fan of Five Guys, love the burgers, much better than Wendy's, etc. However, I stopped in yesterday and was absolutely shocked by the high prices. A double cheeseburger, small fries and a drink came to a whopping $17 dollars! My god, what a ripoff! No need to gouge the public with prices like that. The food is good, but no way is it worth 17 dollars. I guess I have to cross this place off my list, until they bring prices back down to reality. read more

Good food, good pricing. Not gonna just jump out and say that its hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. No, nothing like that, but I will rave about how fresh and delicious the food is (for a fast food joint). Menu is pretty basic, hamburgers and fries (hence the name). Even selections for kids with hotdogs and such. Pricing is well within reason, considering you can choose any and all toppings you wish to have on your food (all free and included in pricing). No combo meals here. Just straight out al la carte items. The fries are actually well done, nothing overly salted, or wilting in texture. Fresh, hot, and crunchy. The perfect fry more or less. A "small" is actually rather decent for two people, anything larger than that, you might as well share amongst your group of friends. Burgers are freshly pressed, not frozen patties and are served two per bun. You'd probably be expecting single patties like most places, but they raised the bar with that one. Served on a nicely toasted bun, makes for a great meal. Only disappointment I found from this experience was the extremely small and very difficult parking lot to pull in/out from. Its pretty much bottle necked into one direction in or out, and almost impossible to make it across the 4 lanes of traffic that are traveling both directions from the very busy populous. Other than that, over all good food. Good atmosphere, and I'll probably be back again; or maybe even at a different location. Worth the money to satisfy that burger craving. read more

Are you fucking kidding me? I usually don't start my reviews like this. People who know my reviews know I usually start the colorful language a few sentences in. WOW!!! For almost a year, I've read my NYC Yelpers rave about Five Guys..."best burger ever!", "greatest thing on earth", etc...you get my drift. I feel like an asshole because I WAITED over a month since they opened in good ol' Kingston to give them a try. WHY? WHY did I wait SO LONG? There are very few places (in my humble opinion) outside of NYC that makes a really great burger. Five Guys started in DC? Why did it take them that long to get up here?! I had the bacon cheese burger with EVERYTHING on it. Why not? Go big or shake your ass home...Yeah, I shook it home with the best burger I've had since 97. The fries were on point...let me re-phrase...my sack-o-fries were delicious as hell man!! I will stalk this establishment til the end of days. Futhermore...I know Sam Jackson Lager is a figment of Dave Chappelle's imagination, but I wanted one to have with this burger bitch!!! I haven't had an orgy like this in my mouth since I first had Skittles son. Now if someone brought back Smurf-Berry Crunch, my life would be complete... read more

All of our burgers are cooked well done and juicy (or something of that nature) says the sign next to the register. "Well done" and "juicy" tend to be placed in the oxymoron category when dealing with burgers. By well done, Five Guys must mean "crispy, delicious outside with a moist, slightly pink center" and I am baffled by how they do this. Beyond the excellently cooked burgers lies the toppings and the excellently prepared bun. Ketchup, mayo, mustard, barbecue sauce, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos, pickles, grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms, etc etc can all come with your burger for no extra charge, just choose what you want. Along with the toppings you receive two patties. Proportionally speaking, this is a great decision on the part of Five Guys since two patties compliment the abundant toppings perfectly. What this burger does miss is a signature special sauce along the lines of In-n-Out or Blue 9 down in the city. But sometimes simplicity beats all when it comes to burger and I'd rather the focus be on the meat instead of a sauce that masks the mediocrity of many burgers. But before you even get to your burger, you must fish through a sea of fries in your brown bag to reach the treasure of a meal found below. I ordered a regular size and was given multiple scoops of perfectly cooked fries. Cripsy on the outside, tender, real potatos in the middle, definitely some of the best fries...ever. Could have used more salt, but I do enjoy how the establishment allows the costumer to make that decision regarding salt intake. If it wasn't for the price (I paid a solid 8 bucks for my meal), Five Guys could come to southern California and wipe that smug smile off of In-n-Out's face. And let's hope it does, because I leave the Hudson Valley in a week and don't know what I'm going to do without a regular trip to Kingston. read more

I tried this place after hearing a lot about it and was not so impressed. I requested my burger be cooked to "medium", but it was overcooked, dry, and not so tasty. The fries were a mushy mess, not done well for a place that only cooks burgers and fries! It overpriced as well, IMO. The atmosphere inside was raucous and chaotic, run by teenagers. Not my idea of a place to enjoy a meal. I would not return. read more

So...Five Guys. A chain burger place that gets raved about pretty much anytime someone brings it up in conversation. I had tried them before, and thought they were good but because they were a chain, I automatically assumed they all would taste the same anywhere I went. And so I sort of forgot about the one in Kingston. Man was I missing out. It turns out not ALL Five Guys are created equal. The one in Kingston is a GREAT location. For some reason unknown to me, the burgers are juicier, meatier and all around better tasting than any I've had before. When I crave a burger, this is what I want. I apparently associate "burger" with "Five Guys" now. Worse things have happened I suppose. I'm kind of also obsessed with their cajun fries, although they always give me SO MANY FRIES. I'm not really complaining, I just can't eat them all in one sitting since I usually have already consumed a burger the size of a toddler by the time I get to the fries. On another note, am I the only one who still gets giddy when I walk into Five Guys and realize I can put whatever toppings I want on my burger with NO EXTRA CHARGE?! This is a crazy, amazingly awesome thing for me. Especially because I'm one of those weird people who doesn't particularly like ketchup and would rather have mustard. I know, I'm a freak; sue me! Anyways, I'm gonna go back to dreaming about Five Guys and when I get the chance to go back and order a bacon cheeseburger... read more

I loved it here! The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. Before I ordered my meal, I used the restroom. It was one of the cleanest I've used in a fast food restaurant. The next thing I noticed was the staff. They were friendly, professional, and it was obvious they got along well. The manager was making sure things were getting done because I could hear her telling the staff what needed to be done. Our order was fast and everything was nice and hot! I ordered a Little Burger with everything except ketchup and lettuce. It had mayo, tomatoes, grilled onions, pickles, mushrooms, mustard on it. This is only my second time at a Five Guys so I didn't realize all the toppings they had. Glad they assumed I didn't want the sauces, peppers and relish because I would have hated that. The mushrooms were a nice surprise and so was the mustard. My friend got a Bacon Cheeseburger and loved it. Lots of bacon!!! His chocolate shake was great!! Fries were hot and crispy!! As we were sitting there, the place filled up with high school students and we then realized they were part of a chorus. They were there to perform Christmas carols in the restaurant for a charity and all sales within a certain time period went to the cause. They were wonderful singers. It's nice that this particular Five Guys was participating in it. read more

I think Five Guys is good, but not "Great"! Biased by my "In-and-Out" Burger past I was underwhelmed by the 5 Guys experience. Everyone I talk to says they felt un-well after the fatty Five Guys burger and fries; I survived without ill-effects but am not craving another. read more

Struggled between 3 and 4 stars on this one. I think I need to go back a few times to refine my review. I liked the burger and fries, I just wasn't knocked out, and I had high expectations. For a long time I've been hearing about how great Five Guys burgers are, so when I finally tried one it was a little anticlimatic. Perhaps I didn't get the right toppings ( went with grilled onions and mushrooms). I will try again soon. Definitely willing to give this place another chance. read more

BEST BURGER ! I had the cheeseburger with lettuce tomato pickle onions and mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious . if you take it out the meat and you just nibble on the meat ,You definitely tell it's a 100% beef. The french fries are definitely real potato. I would like to thank the owners for bringing such quality food. read more

I'm torn...I love the fact that you can get all sorts of toppings for the burgers (grilled onions and mushrooms, yeah!), and the peanuts are neat. The burgers are big, too (in fact, I order the "small" sizes). I WANT this place to have good burgers. But...the last three times I've gone in with a craving for a good burger...and left, still craving a good burger. I'm not sure what it is, but somehow, the burgers didn't satisfy. Whether it was the cooking process or the meat itself, something was missing. What was it? I don't know...but both Sonic and McDonalds have it, whatever "it" is. read more

Honestly the Burgers are great but the fries here suck because they don't Fry it long enough.

Literally the best burger I've ever had. So tasty, delicious and juicy. The fries are fresh. The fries are sliced and the beef is fresh too. The Hot Dogs taste very good as well. Also Cooked and Prepared right in front of you. Friendly Employees always ask if you want a sample of a shake before ordering. The Shakes are Amazing and they have a lot of options of drinks to choose from. Overall the Best experience in Burger and fry Place. read more

I am giving them four stars because they serve tasty burgers that are reasonably priced. They are made to order so you get to build your own Burger. Also, free peanuts! The staff at the Kingston location are friendly and efficient. read more

I give them 5 stars for the shakes alone! My fav. is ores cream. Bag of fries serves 3 people if not more. The little burger is larger than other fast food places & it is freshly ground. To improve things they could offer free wifi. read more

Don't order Fries! Or dried burgers either. They say they're juicy but they cook them well done. What I got was a huge sack of greasy fries and a burger that popped out of the bun when I attempted to bite it. Too much mayo?? Not the best by far.
