The person working the grill yelled at me and my son on three separate occasions. At first, I thought it might have been a misunderstanding or just trying to be heard over the noise, but it continued. The last instance was especially frustrating my 4-year-old had just come out of the bathroom and was happily running to his mom, and I was yelled at to make sure he stopped running from the bathroom to the seating area. I've been to many places with my child and have never experienced anything like this. Because of that, we won't be coming back.

We wanted to order to go for friends and had to order it at the same time since they were closing, but they were kind enough to double bag to keep it hot. Also since they were closing we got our food wrapped to go, no options for trays, which was challenging for the kids but we made it work. Also, a mouse ran by but i think it came in from the outside and ran right back outside- they have to eat too i guess. The food comes out super quickly. Love the refillable fountain drinks with real cane sugar!

It's true the wait times are long if it's busy, but that's where my complaints end. Produce is always fresh, service is friendly, and the menu is limited, which I think is one of its virtues. I'm gluten free and I can get either a GF bun or lettuce wrap, meat or Impossible or veggie burger. Fries are solid, shakes delicious. If you pre-order or prepare for a slightly longer wait, you won't be disappointed. Fast food is now incredibly expensive in addition to being heavily processed garbage. If I'm craving McDonald's, I'll go get that, but my cheeseburger was $9 and better than anything I've had in the area. I'm usually down to wait a little longer for a much higher quality product for around the same price.

A little quaint gem (a bit eclectic) that serves comfort foods in a friendly atmosphere…read more Their menu consists of various chicken sandwiches (fried, grilled or cauliflower), burgers, all day breakfast, soups and salads. We enjoyed the Figgy chicken sandwich (fig jam, plentiful greens, cheese and chicken, bun could have been better quality) with salad (pretty fresh), and the Caesar chicken sandwich with fries. The server (owner?) was very friendly and explained the menu, saying specifically that the chicken sandwiches are made to order. There were only two other occupied tables on a Saturday afternoon and the food took a little while to come out (not very bad but not super fast). It also seems like a place that should be crowded but wasn't. Coffee was self service. They also had a pumpkin pie in a plastic container (didn't look homemade) in the front. There's a little children's play area in the back. And the unisex bathroom was very large. It's located on a street with lots of shops and other eateries (pizza etc).

Our waitress was very nice, really chill, checked in once but if we had flagged her over I'm sure she would have been attentive more but we just didn't need anything. We ordered two different versions of their chicken sandwiches and they both were amazing! I ordered the club and substituted out for the Big Mac sauce, it was ridiculously delicious! The owner/chef I believe came over after our food was served which was really nice to check in and offered some future suggestions that we'll be sure to take her up on. The food was cooked to order, super fresh and a lot of details that made it a perfect bite! Cute place with a variety of seating options, the old brick work pops through in some places which adds a really nice historic charm to the place. We'll definitely be back to give a few more menu items a try!

This whole time, I really thought this place was inside a cozy hotel about 2 blocks over. Guess you learn something new every day. We pulled up on a Thurs. around 4 with no res. and got seated real quick. Restaurant K. is airy, chic and gives a relaxed vibe. The menu is on the smaller side, but honestly, there's something for every eating style. We kept things light instead of diving into something heavy. Our spring greens salad was really good: hefty mound of mixed greens, lima beans, string beans and a hint of dill to make everything pop. Hubs had the double-stacked burger with white cheddar on a potato bun and loved it. I had high hopes for the hush puppies because they sounded amazing on paper- but they were doughy than corny and threw me off. Then came dessert. Again- sounded great on paper. It kinda feels like desserts get a "reinvented" treatment here(?). For instance, the strawberry shortcake was deconstructed: a few chunks of white cake, some diced strawberries and whipped cream. Totally unexpected. I ordered the 'Fun-Fetti Dunkaroos' with madeleines because they caught my eye, but they're smaller than standard. The food isn't bad at all. We were just caught off guard by how some of our selections were prepped. What really saved the evening were the cocktails. They were beautifully made and had a lot of strength. No watered-down nonsense here! Plus, our server Karina(?) was super sweet. I asked if I could try the passion fruit purée to see if it was the real deal for one of the cocktails I ordered and she brought me a little sample. Passed the test!
