Saucy dog and Fries - Reg

The food is to die for, they have a Boylans Cream soda dispenser and that's honestly perfect. Boyfriend and I are visiting from south Jersey and this was a totally new place to us, we will absolutely be coming back when we are up here again!

Looking for a fast casual meal with some pizzazz while passing through Kingston? Look no further, this is your answer! The fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese, coleslaw and more, was absolutely amazing. Both the lamb and cheeseburgers also hit the spot. The shoestring fries and vanilla shake were the perfect add on. If you're looking to have a beer with your meal, they have some good options too. Quick, easy, well-priced, and delicious. Couldn't ask for more!

    Dirty Bird

Day two of lunch breaks in Kingston. I'd been eying this spot since Monday and decided to give it a go today. I ordered the Dirty Bird which was pretty good. I was pressed for time so I had to eat quickly and boy was it hot, fresh out the fryer. Their fries are amazing, kinda remind me of 5 Guys fries without all the grease. Im looking forward to going back to try their burgers. Great food, great service, nice place.

    Large fry and nuggets

Was up in Kingston for the first time and found this place on Yelp. Helpers, you didn't disappoint. It is a very inviting corner store with tons of light which is welcoming. The menu is on the back wall and the items a pretty clearly listed. After confirming with the girl at the counter I went for the Dirty Bird. The sandwich was excellent! The chicken great and the pimento cheese was a great addition. It was kind of a mess, but the best kind of mess. My wife for the chicken tenders. There were more than enough for her and for me to sneak a couple of bites from her. Tender and juicy with a really good coating on the outside and served with a side of BBQ sauce. But the fries, oh man, the fries were great! They were thinner cut hand-cut fries and they were cooked perfectly! Not oily, crispy and dark, just like they should be. I ordered the large bucket and it was a bucket. They fill it and fill an additional quarter of the bag. They were perfectly salty and I couldn't stop eating them. This alone is a reason to stop in.

    Double Lamb Eater with Fries
    Dan M.

This was a spot that had burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, milkshakes and a few sandwiches. They were very limited, and the food was made to order. All of their burgers were cooked to a medium temperature unless instruction was given. All of their food was supposedly made and sourced from the best ingredients. I went with the double lamb eater ($12.35) with fries. I told them I did not want fries but was given them anyway for an extra charge I believe, not a big deal as they were crispy and seasoned nicely. The lamb eater consisted of 2 lamb patties with lemon-oregano mayo, lettuce, tomato, and pickled red onion. This was tasty. The lamb patties had nice flavor while the mayo enhanced the meat as a whole. My only complaint would be the sogginess on the buns due to the number of toppings inside. Will I go back? I would.

Very overpriced for what they have. They also charged $3.50 for a cup of water. (I was told to push a grey button; I did. Out came seltzer.)

We enjoyed the Figgy chicken sandwich (fig jam, plentiful greens, cheese and chicken, bun could have been better quality) with salad (pretty fresh), and the Caesar chicken sandwich with fries. The server (owner?) was very friendly and explained the menu, saying specifically that the chicken sandwiches are made to order. There were only two other occupied tables on a Saturday afternoon and the food took a little while to come out (not very bad but not super fast). It also seems like a place that should be crowded but wasn't. Coffee was self service. They also had a pumpkin pie in a plastic container (didn't look homemade) in the front. There's a little children's play area in the back. And the unisex bathroom was very large. It's located on a street with lots of shops and other eateries (pizza etc).

Our waitress was very nice, really chill, checked in once but if we had flagged her over I'm sure she would have been attentive more but we just didn't need anything. We ordered two different versions of their chicken sandwiches and they both were amazing! I ordered the club and substituted out for the Big Mac sauce, it was ridiculously delicious! The owner/chef I believe came over after our food was served which was really nice to check in and offered some future suggestions that we'll be sure to take her up on. The food was cooked to order, super fresh and a lot of details that made it a perfect bite! Cute place with a variety of seating options, the old brick work pops through in some places which adds a really nice historic charm to the place. We'll definitely be back to give a few more menu items a try!

The breading was perfectly crispy and the mozzarella was unbelievably creamy! Then came the entrées... Bacon & Brie Omelette. The eggs were unbelievably fluffy, loaded with flavor, and the combination of crispy bacon and creamy brie was phenomenal. Add the cheesy hash browns, and I was already wondering why I hadn't come here sooner. Crab Cake BLT... Wow. Packed with crab, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was outstanding. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right. And can we talk about the portions? You definitely won't leave hungry! To top it all off, our waitress was incredibly sweet, friendly, and attentive. Great service always makes a good meal even better, and she absolutely did. If you're looking for a brunch spot, Uptown Bar & Grill absolutely knocked it out of the park. Great food, great service, huge portions, and flavors that keep you talking about the meal long after you leave. Easily a 10/10 from me. Now excuse me while I dream about those mozzarella sticks...

Even though they were vacuuming in a neighboring section that had already closed, the noise was loud and distracting enough to take away from the experience. It seemed like poor timing, especially during the most important part of the game. Overall, the food and value were solid, but if you're trying to create a place where people come to watch big sporting events, this wasn't a great look. I wish there were a better spot to watch a game in Kingston. Community discussions about sports bars in Kingston often echo that sentiment, with many fans saying the area could use a stronger dedicated game-watching venue.

After a considerable wait I spoke with an individual who assured me that my order would be completed as discussed. In fact, he would speak personally with the 'chef' to insure so. Here's the cutch- I never got my burgers. I got the standard plastic clamshell salad(which i didn't order) , soggy fries with a spoonful of soggy, slightly spiced sand.... which i assume was that chili i paid extra for... and.... get this.... the clamshell box with the bun that I CAN'T EAT as I had expressed.
