Everyone at Burden is incredibly friendly, and willing to take the time to explain things thoroughly. I had a problem diagnosed that ended up being very expensive to fix, and they suggested taking some time to think about it, since the problem didn't affect the performance of my car. They also didn't charge me for diagnostics even though it took some time on their part to look into the issue. It's so refreshing to find a repair shop that cares more about their customers' needs than just making money! I also ordered Honda wheels from them and they had them on the exact date they said they would, and gave me a courtesy call to let me know I could come by to pick them up at my convenience. I used to go to the dealership but I found this place online and gave it a try. My experience was cheaper and friendlier and overall better service. Price I reasonable and service is very great and fast. I changed my both brake pads, Oil change and Relay of AC for below $350. It is reasonable deal with 3 years or 36,000 miles warranty. read more

Accept no substitutes. It is not a stretch to say that one of the reasons that I continue to buy Hondas is because Burden is there to maintain them. My wife and I have owned 4 different Hondas over the years and only trust them to Burden Auto Care. They are honest mechanics - I know that is usually an oxymoron but there have been a number of times that we have asked if we needed a repair and a less scrupulous business could have charged us for unnecessary work. They will tell you what you need to fix now, what can wait until later, and give an estimate on how many miles you can hold off. Their estimates are fair and they always ask before taking on any repairs that they didn't discuss with us first. Too bad they only service Honda and Acura, I can't take my BMW to them :( I take my husbands Acura TSX to them and their service prices are very reasonable. Trust me when I say their prices are reasonable, we used to take the car to Acura dealership before, and you won't believe how much money we paid the dealership for the things we didn't need. Like other service centers these guys don't find problems that don't exist. They don't try to sell or push stuff to you that you don't need. Only honest advice. I love Burden's! I had work done by another shop and realized that there was a problem with the repair. The original shop couldn't figure out what was wrong and I found Burden's on Angie's List. They diagnosed the issue (a defective ball joint) at no charge and recommended taking the car back to the first shop due to the cost of repair. I was very pleased with the entire interaction regarding the problem and had the oil changed while the car was there also - I really wanted to give them at least some business after they spent time and effort to assess the problem. The first shop agreed with the diagnosis and replaced the part. However, there was a new problem after the new part went in. I went back to Burden's planning to just have them fix it no matter what it was. Instead I got another diagnosis on the new problem which was yet another very costly fix caused by improper installation of the new ball joint. I took the car back to the first shop once again but wasn't convinced that the owner understood the issue when I explained it to him. Then the scheduling became difficult and I finally gave up on them...back to Burden's. In the end it was a VERY costly lesson, but I absolutely trust Burden's with my car and my safety. They always recommended trying to utilize any warranty from the prior shop, even when I 'just wanted it fixed.' They are well worth the extra drive - read more

On a Saturday morning I ran over a battery in the middle of the expressway. It made a terrific sound under the car and I pulled off the road to see that part of the bumper was hanging by a thread and it appeared that there might be greater damage. I called Burdens who told me to "come right over." I was pleased to learn that despite a dented floor panel and broken stone shield there was not serious damage. Fantastic, knowledgable service! I had a check engine light on, and a faint odor of leaking coolant. A new gas cap, and two tightened hose clamps later, I'm out the door for under $30 in less than an hour. These were simple repairs, yes - but other shops would have made them into much bigger issues. Ok, so Wendy and David Osborne are the real deal. Their lobby/waiting area even look like a Honda service center. That said, they do the right thing by their customers. We were told by a local dealer multiple things were getting critically close to needing service. We found Burden on Yelp, and decided to give them a try for an oil change.
