Really disappointing experience. They damaged three of my sweaters, two of which were very expensive, and then called me to yell and claim I dropped them off that way, which is absolutely not true. Instead of handling it professionally, the owner, Zach, was defensive and unprofessional. For reference, we spoke with Milt & Eddie's and they explained that if an item looks damaged before cleaning, the operator should call the customer before starting. That's basic professionalism. If you want your clothes treated with care and honesty, I'd recommend going somewhere else, like Milt & Eddie's. read more

I went here today to get a queen comforter dry cleaned. They were going to charge me $85 and I had to prepay first, which usually isn't the case for any dry cleaner service. I knew the price wasn't correct and way too high. I shopped around and found Alameda Dry Cleaners in the Pavilion shopping center. It was $60 and they have a special promotion of $10. And the lady said you only pay once you pick up! Which is usually the case. So buyers BEWARE! Never go to this place, unless you want to pay exorbitant prices and unethical practices. The team is very kind and always delivers fast work--one time, I ripped a seam of a formal dress I needed to wear to an awards show that night, so I brought the dress here (my first visit), and it was ready in less than 2 hours. They saved my life that day! The seam fix was about $20, a hem on a bridesmaid dress was about $80, and they fixed a hook on a different dress for free--I wouldn't say it's cheap but it's pretty typical for LA and I've never been disappointed with the service or the speed! read more

ugh. this is the dry cleaners that used to be over by red maple on riverside drive... the ones that used to scream at everyone for parking on the street by their business? i didn't know the dry cleaners had switched hands from the previous company and took some sweaters and a coat here. big mistake. i found out quickly that they were indeed parking police dry cleaners. i decided to give them another chance because new location, new attitude? that proved incorrect. they are still rude and called me several times to change my quoted price for various items. a sweater is not a coat, btw. items were cleaned on time, but despite the prime location, i will not return. there are much better (pink) options for dry cleaning in town. read more

TL;DR - take work whether they are capable or not, ruins items, owner Zack denies any wrongdoing and is incredibly rude Dropped a straw fedora off to be cleaned recently and it was completely ruined, but Burbank Dry Cleaners refuses to take any responsibility. I understand a hat is not a traditional piece of clothing, which is why when I dropped it off I made sure to ask the owner Zack whether he felt comfortable being able to clean it, and most importantly, that it would keep its structure and shape when done. I asked that last part and whether he was sure a good 3 times. He said it would be fine, but he would need to sew the band back on because it may come unglued, which didn't seem like a big deal. When I picked up the hat, it was a shapeless lumpy mess, and exactly what I asked them NOT to do. I almost thought it was a prank it was so far removed from what I requested - it looks like someone just tossed it in a washing machine. The crown has lost all shape - the pinch on the front is gone, the crease on the top is gone - and the brim is wavy. Even the one thing Zack told me he needed to do - sew the band back on - he did a piss poor job of and positioned it too high so you can see the seam of the hat. See my pictures for the before & after. Of course when I asked to be refunded for the cleaning and maybe even for them to pay to replace the hat, Zack couldn't have been more rude about it. He immediately got defensive and refused to admit that he might have done anything wrong or offer any recompense. He alternately claimed there was nothing wrong with the hat and it looked perfect despite me showing him photos the contrary, or that this is what is expected to happen when he cleans it and wouldn't acknowledge the fact that I asked for assurances otherwise. His tone shifted from condescending to jerk accordingly. And if y'all think I'm being a Karen, I recorded the whole conversation, though I guess there's no way to share it here. Just look at the other negative reviews and you'll see a pattern in how they handle these things. I can't believe Zack felt comfortable assuring me they could clean the hat and that it would come back looking the same. I would much rather he be honest and just say he isn't sure they have the capability to clean it and keep it in the condition I asked, so don't want to risk ruining it. Instead, they are desperate for a buck and will take anything, probably because their customer service is so crap they are driving their business away. And this is after another recent trip when I had to make them clean an item again because they ignored the spots I pointed out - so even when it comes to more traditional dry cleaning work they have become lazy and subpar. read more

When Zack or his staff greet you at Burbank Dry Cleaners you feel like your visiting close family. The dry cleaning and repairs they have done for me have always been of the highest quality. Recently I brought in an heirloom stitchery table runner. It had stains on it from long term storage. I took it in knowing the stains might not come out. First a gentle process was used due to the possible sensitivity of the fiber and it did not take out all the spots. I spoke with Zack in person and he was willing to try something additional with my understanding that it might cause damage. He would give it his special and individual attention. He did and the table runner came out perfect. I am grateful. If the table runner had not done well in the second process, I would still be grateful to Zack and his team for willing to take the time and care in my behalf. The tailoring job itself cost almost as much as my evening dress and it didn't seem at all like it was done by a professional! They have a sign on each of their hangers that says "20% off for new customers", but find every excuse to avoid giving you the discount. I even asked if they can apply the Yelp discount on their page and they said they accepted it, but again NEVER applied it!!! I don't even need to go on and tell you how terrible my experience was.
