Sadly, a lot of machines and dryers are broken, and the place is super small, so it can only really handle 3 people at a time. Most of the broken ones are labeled but not all, so I lost a few coins and there wasn't anyone there to tell. Also, the strobing effect of the fan near the dryers is very unpleasant. The machines that do work work well, and the dryers do a good job and don't require you to add a lot of time. I managed to dry a month's worth of laundry for $2.50, which is less than my apartment complex charges for one dry cycle. I guess that's why some woman came in and only used the dryers and took up of them... If I lived closer, I might come back just to support the nice owners. But there's a mid coin laundry right around the corner from me, so it's not really worth going out of my way.

Affordable, cleaned and dried my clothes well, but overall I believe it was the owners aura and talents that will bring him tons of business. His creativity, knowledge of business, designs, and music taste, definitely keep an eye out for what he has in store. I would definitely come here more often if I had lived nearby but more so I place this review to overall state that I would recommend The Fresh Cycle to anyone needing to get your clothes washed / dried. Also there is a coffee slash 'mother of all tasty menus that will have you indecisive of item choices right off the bat but maybe overspend' shop next door so you get best of both worlds! This is the worst experience I had at a dry cleaners. I understand situations happen - what's more important is how the business takes care of matters afterwards. I called the next day at 8 am to share my concern and as I'm speaking to the employee, they do not want to compensate for the damage to get the buttons replaced but instead, asked me to drop off so they can replace them at their store. If it was a non-designer item, I don't have a problem getting the buttons replaced. However, a designer item is expensive and should uphold the same quality. That is why it's called a designer item. My complaint is clear, my jacket is damaged from the entire front, wrist area, and shoulder area. It's not just one button, all of them are damaged. The owner, Zach refuses to accept any of my video/pictures and would rather have me drop it off at the store so they can examine or come to my home to see "how they can fix it." Got a hold of the owner, Zach and he begins speaking to me in another language which I thought was quite rude and was very unprofessional. No apology offered, no compensation offered and was coming off in an aggressive manner which I did not appreciate. I will never be visiting this business again.

Without questioning anything, he told me I can still get my money back. Damn, this type of excellent service threw my worries out the window, and for sure made me comfortable to come back again. Also parking is very open since if you don't find it in the lot, there's plenty of street parking, atleast around the time I arrived. Overall experience was easily a 5 and machines were all clean, ready to go and in working order. I am a regular at all my local dry cleaners and I usually like to try different places to make sure I am getting adequate service and fair pricing. As a first time client I am always well aware of how a business usually will go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. This usually will diminish after a while depending on the establishment. Let tell you that Rex Cleaners takes none of these subtleties into consideration when dealing with new clientele. The receptionist rarely looked me in the eye when speaking to my, a normal greeting was never said, and it felt as though I owed them something instead of them providing great service. In all, as a Burbank resident I highly recommend you steer clear of this establishment if you expect service, let alone good pricing. read more

I asked if it could be fixed since I needed it by Friday. Instead of correcting their mistake, I was told they "didn't have time" and to come back next week. I explained that next week wouldn't work because I need the dress by Friday. She still had three full days to fix it but refused to. Mistakes happen, but I expected them to stand behind their work and take care of a loyal customer. Unfortunately, I left feeling like my time and loyalty didn't matter.
