I have a fav dry cleaner that I've gone to for years; however, it's too far for me to go to regularly. So, I went to a couple dry cleaners in this area and all did not meet my standards. Then, I found Aviva. 1st - the customer service is great. 2nd - the price is reasonable. 3rd - speedy pick up time. 4th - my clothes were clean, pressed, and pristine (exactly to my liking) This is now my new favorite cleaners. read more

Very nice people running this place. And prices are very reasonable. Will definitely come back to them. They do wedding dress presentations too and they did a nice job for us. read more

I live nearby and I thought of giving Aviva Cleaners a try. I needed to get two new zipped sweatpants hemmed an inch and a half. The counter attendant was polite and checked with the tailor. The tailor did not bother to check the work and told her to tell me it would be $42 for each ($84 for both). I declined and went to Sterlings Cleaners that is less than a mile away. The tailor personally attended me and quoted me $25 for each ($50 for both). I accepted and left it with her. Despite Aviva's good reviews on YELP, I left disappointed with the quoted high price. First impressions are important! I do not plan to go back there. read more

Dry cleaning was great and reasonably priced. However, in January, I had taken a pair of shorts in to be fixed. The silk pockets had torn and I brought a piece of fabric for the pockets. They also offered to sew the back pockets closed. Was charged $30 to fix. Brought another pair of the exact same shorts a little while later, for the same repair. Was charged $50. I questioned the price for the same fixes. They agreed to reduce payment. This weekend, I take the shorts out of storage and find that the back pockets weren't sewn shut on first pair of shorts. On the second pair, they sewed the pocket liner in backwards and left a hole in the pocket. I should've double checked before I left, that's on me. but I'm not inclined to go back for alterations. read more

They got back to me right away and did a simple hem on 2 pairs of jeans for only $14/pair. Exactly what I was looking for x

Aviva Cleaners is great! It was my first time getting a dress hemmed here and Jerry was so friendly and helpful with my dress. The prices here are so much more affordable than other places and I will continue to come here for all my services! They're also really quick and my dress only took 3 days to do They have a list of services and pricing on their menu and they have a texting system as well if you don't want to call. Overall I'm just really impressed with them! read more

The work was done ok - but in the easiest way possible. It wasn't cheap and for the price I'd expect a bit more attention to detail. Like, the dress I got back fits ok? The top could use some adjusting but they said straight out they didn't want to spend the time on it so just did the waist. They didn't want to tailor another dress I had because they'd have to add a zipper Well?? add the fn zipper and charge me for it? Lazy. Tailors really do themselves a disservice as a whole when they just want to do the minimum most easy alterations. I'm still looking for someone who looks at their work as art and not assembly line. read more

I've brought my clothes here for nearly nine years, and they've consistently done excellent work. I've tried other spots in Burbank (including the fun and fancy Milton & Eddie's), but honestly, this place is better-- IMO a real hidden gem. Aviva a modest storefront tucked into Magnolia Park across from Gun World and next to that always-busy children's dance studio. Despite the dance madness, parking is somehow never an issue. What really makes this place stand out for me is the owner, Jerry. He's an exceptional tailor with an extensive background in altering coats and precision work. I've trusted him with everything from $800 coats to $350 pants -- often with nervous, overly detailed fastidious instructions (because, let's be honest, with alterations you only get one chance). Jerry has never once let me down. He just gets it -- the proportions, the seams, the little details that make clothing look right. His workmanship is impeccable, especially when preserving original hems on jeans or reshaping/shortening coats, shirts and pants. Most tailors refuse to make alterations that change the original design of a garment; Jerry can, and he will -- beautifully. Once or twice I've had minor issues when other staff handled an alteration, but they always fixed it quickly and without charge. Jerry's own work, though, has been flawless. For that reason I try to only have him alter my items. Dry cleaning here is solid and reliable, and pressing is excellent but Jerry's personal touch and work ethic are what make this place special. He's there from early morning until around 8pm, often hand-delivering finished items himself. He's kind, honest, and endlessly hardworking. I highly recommend this business! read more

Less than 24 hour turnaround for an alteration. I expected to pay more because it was so quick and it was the lowest price I've paid for a bridesmaid alteration!! Thank you guys!!! read more

Great! They do wonderful alterations for a reasonable cost and dry cleaning is great and fairly priced. (Used to go to milt and Edie's but their prices are astronomical now!) So grateful I found this place. read more

I sent a yelp question about having curtains hemmed. Jerry was quick to reply. I called and spoke to him by phone for additional questions. He was very knowledgable and extremely kind explaining to me the process and what he could do and up front with the cost. I will definitely recommend this business to my son who lives in Burbank. read more

I'm so happy I found Aviva Cleaners! They do great work, have fair prices, and are easy to get to. Nice quiet location with a parking lot in the magnolia park neighborhood of Burbank. I was calling around looking for a place to clean and preserve my wedding dress -- Aviva quoted me a price that was a fraction of the other cleaners in the area. They did great work with my wedding dress. I also had them dry clean a different white dress I had stained with red sauce and they got the stain out beautifully. So happy I stumbled upon this place. read more

This spot has a friendly staff and does good clean work. Very reasonable wait times and prices.

I found out about Aviva while reading a yelp review for Milt & Edie's where they said Aviva down the street was cheaper and better. Sounded good to me, so I gave it a shot. I brought two long dressed to be hemmed and a skirt to be dry cleaned. Total was $44 ($10 for the dry cleaning and $17 each for the hemming). Aside from the prices being incredibly reasonable, the hemming is perfect! Two dresses that sat in my closet because they were too long are now wearable. The skirt looks like new. When I first came to drop off the dresses the tailor was not there but they said to come back in 15 minutes, which I did. He was super friendly and they have a dressing room for you to try clothes on for him to pin. I dropped everything off on a Friday and they were ready Wednesday after 5 pm (after I told them no rush). Pretty quick (for the tailoring at least) if you ask me! Free parking lot behind (and also street parking in front). Around the corner from Porto's. This is my new go-to cleaners! read more

Brought in two pairs of pants (dress pants and a pair of yoga pants) for hemming and they hemmed both perfectly! $12 for each, which is a great deal. I came in with mud all over a very nice suit and they got it all out. They also have very reasonable prices.

They fixed the hem of my gown and they did that well. The free hand stitching on the chest was not so great but I'm glad they did their best to reduce the bust size of the dress. read more

I had a dress altered here a few months ago, and when thrifted a vintage green skirt suit with a lot of potential I had to go back! The tailor really understood the vibe I wanted (The Nanny) and got the whole suit finished in less than a week for a very reasonable price. read more

I've been loyal to Aviva cleaners for many years because they continue to provide the best service and best prices. Highly recommend them!

Brought my clothes here to get washed and got them back looking like I washed them myself. The are peeling badly and had to drive out of my way both times to them done. Holes in one of my sweaters and the sleeve torn on one. Both only a few weeks old. Asked for a call back and nothing, got a refund for the original cleaning until I found the holes. read more

Their tailoring is AMAZING and quick. I used the first-time customer discount and got four items altered, including a tricky taking-in of a vest and shortening of a handkerchief hem dress, and two pairs of pants. Everything was perfect and less than $80 all together, which is unheard of. I will recommend to everyone I know in the area. read more
