This place lost my business forever due to the owner being SO rude in the parking lot. I parked and wanted to grab coffee prior. I got interrogated. Owner has gone crazy he stands in the parking lot and tells people they can and can't park in his business due to him not recognizing me. lol please go someplace else. read more

I briefly pulled into this parking lot because the alley was completely blocked by a garbage truck, and I was trying to avoid blocking a nearby driveway. I had been there for less than a minute and hadn't even gotten out of my car when I was approached by someone who I believe was the owner. I completely understand that this is private property and that they have every right to ask someone to leave. My issue was never with the parking policy--it was with the way I was treated. From the moment I parked, I felt like I was being watched. Instead of a polite conversation, I was met with an unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and condescending attitude. When I explained that the alley was blocked by a garbage truck, I was simply told to "go the other way." There was no attempt to show even basic courtesy. What was especially disappointing is that they didn't even know whether I was a customer or someone intending to do business there before speaking to me that way. A simple, respectful, "Hi, just so you know, this parking is reserved for customers," would have accomplished the exact same thing. After this interaction, I looked through the reviews and noticed that I'm not the only person who's had a negative experience related to the parking lot. That was disappointing to see because it suggests this isn't an isolated interaction. There's nothing wrong with protecting your parking for customers. There is something wrong with treating people disrespectfully when a polite conversation would accomplish the exact same thing. read more

DO NOT GO HERE HOSTILE, AGGRESSIVE OWNER If I could give this place negative stars, I would. The owner is shockingly rude and aggressive. I was quoted $125 for five items, which is a rip-off. I fully intended to pay (even though I should have confirmed the price upfront), but when I checked my clothes, every single item still had stains. When I told him I wasn't paying unless the clothes were properly cleaned and asked to take photos for proof, he aggressively ripped the clothes out of my hands and began yelling in my face, telling me to "get the f*** out" while refusing to return my still-dirty clothes. I felt unsafe and had to call the police. When they arrived, he lied, claiming he offered me a discount (never happened) and accused me of trying to steal, which is absurd considering he was holding my property. The situation escalated so badly I was on the verge of a panic attack. Save yourself the stress and take your business literally anywhere else. read more

Love this place! Family owned and ran. Ample parking, handicap accessibility. Unlike other cleaners they get it right! Detail oriented Business with a Smile read more

Very disappointed. My clothes came back wrinkled and still had stains. Won't be coming back. Drop off clothes on Monday, they said ready by Thursday. I came Friday -- still not done. Waste of time. read more

Older Persian man in there was extremely unprofessional, rude and threatened little girls for using his parking lot for a milisecond to reverse back into the street. He started asking weird personal questions to girls about their cars and made them extremely uncomfortable. They were both underage. I was all witness to it. Not surprised about the negative reviews. So unprofessional and just weird. read more

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS. I arrived to an empty parking lot and was sitting in my car taking a phone call for literally less than five minutes. An older man came out of the business and immediately began harassing me, saying I was on private property. I took out the clothes I was planning to have cleaned and told him I'd be taking my business elsewhere. Completely unprofessional behavior. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I think the man was shocked someone pulled up to his business since the lot has been empty and will most probably stay empty. They have a photo of a talk show host acting as if they have reputation lol. Do yourself a favor go to milt and eddies 2 seconds away. read more

An efficient, professional and friendly place. A great alternative for larger and more expensive competitors in the area.

Shocked at the service I recently had last week here; rude manager / man - he made very rude remarks to be when I came by to inquire about some dry cleaning and pricing. Was aggressive; went elsewhere - do not recommend. read more

Most of the people who write those one star reviews are completely false, and are likely writing them because of competition with other drycleaners. Instead you should go there and see for yourself how it is there since there are a lot of positive reviews for this place. I have taken me and my family here multiple times and the workers there never dissapointed me. Overall a nice drycleaning service with good kind staff and the prices are pretty decent! read more

Nothing but professional when it comes to Toluca Lake Cleaners. Definitely has become by go-to cleaners in the area. Staff has also been great every time I have stopped by the store. read more

These guys do a great job with affordable prices. The team is very friendly and make me feel like a friend instead of a customer. Would highly recommend for your dry cleaning needs. read more

My family and I have been coming here for years now and have nothing but good things to say! Quick turnaround time, amazing service, and just the sweetest owners! I highly recommend them and have referred so many others who can vouch the same. Thank you Toluca Lake Cleaners for always providing fast and consistent service! read more

I recently moved to the area and came across this cleaners and I was already in love just by the outside being pink! Such a cute fun place. Their service is amazing and the owner happened to be there and she's a very sweet lady. I wouldn't trust any one else with my clothes! 10/10 recommend for anyone in the area read more

This place is the worst. They have ruined numerous items of mine and have never been apologetic or understanding about it. Destroyed my YSL T-shirt, completely ruined it. He says it's my fault because it's an old shirt. I purchased it a few months ago. The workers think they can never do any wrong. Completely disrespectful. After trying to talk with the main worker, the man was rolling his eyes on me, while I'm explaining the situation. He acted like a two-year-old kid. Pretty much a coward. Would never recommend this place to anyone that cares about their clothes. Over priced and the absolute worst dry cleaners in LA. If you don't believe me, go see for yourself. read more

Tom at Toluca Lake Cleaners is the best. He has such a nice attitude, is always kind to us and helped us get our wedding gear done ASAP. We've been going to them for years and I just wanted to pop on here and say they are the best. Me, my husband, and my mom (when she is in town) all use TLC and definitely recommend them. read more

I've been going to this place for many years and 5 star doesn't justify their quality of work and customer service. Great people with wonderful and friendly attitude. Hands down the best service we have received in the area and the only place you should trust your delicates and suits and... Truly hidden gem of Toluca Lake! read more

OK If you need to get great service this is the place to go! I have been coming here for over 8 years, Dachia and her amazing staff are super accommodating, as her in-store tailor, Nazik is a miracle worker for adjustments or renovations for my clothes. As a director of an internationally touring dance company, they keep my looking my best and my dancers looking great in their costumes! Thanks everyone, your the BEST! read more

Highly recommended! Run by a very friendly staff who put a lot of effort and care into it!

The staff was absolutely wonderful. Very welcoming. They took the time to make sure I was getting the services I needed for my clothes. They also took the time to get to know me. When I came back to pick up clothes, they remembered me, and had my clothes waiting for me by the time I parked my car and came inside. Would definitely (and have) recommended then to everyone I know!! read more

Toluca Lake Cleaners is a family owned and operated business. I have been bringing my clothes here since 2012 when I discovered them. The job is always done quickly and professionally. I took my uniform here for the first time. Very friendly staff, and they greet you very nicely. I dropped off my uniform and was told it will be ready the next day and it was the next morning. Toluca Lake Cleaners - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Burbank, California

Toluca Lake Cleaners is our go-to for FAST dry cleaning and alterations! I take my dresses there to get altered and my husband takes his suit. They're always super friendly, fast, and priced very reasonably (especially for this area). I would highly recommend them! read more

I usually go to Milt and Eddie's but I needed to get some pants hemmed so I searched up tailors near by and found Toluca Lake Cleaners. First off, parking is super accesible which is a plus for me because I despise going to places with difficult parking. They were also able to take in my pants to get hemmed and have them ready in such short notice. I took in a coat to get dry cleaned as well and when I went to go pick up all my items they gave me back $40 that I left in my coat. I didn't even realize I had left money in my pocket. Honestly, very sweet and trust worthy people. I will no be going to Toluca Lake Cleaners for all my dry cleaning and tailoring needs. read more

Best dry cleaners in Los Angeles. For years I have been taking my business suits, shirts, and some pants for alterstions. The fast, courteous, friendly and above all professional service is commendable. You are greeted by the friendly employees, and the proprietor who happens to be a professional business women 100% involved in the day to day concerns of the business, is always there to address any concerns you might have. Not like some dry cleaning business owners who sit in a corner and tally up the receipts. I recommend Toluca lake cleaners to anyone. read more

Bad attitude and service - definitely would not recommend. The owner is a very negative person.

I have come to Toluca Lake Cleaners since they opened the doors for business. The owner(s) are well versed in taking good care of my clothes/garments, as well as being knowledgeable about the business, they are friendly and always concerned to make sure the details of the problem(s) are solved. Being family owned, they make you feel like you are part of an extended family as well, concerned not only with the work they need to perform on your clothes but the day to day concerns of family and work. It is rare to see and experience in the service industry, such an approach in treating people with respect, knowing your concerns and in general being a step ahead, making the customer feel that they have their best interest and not just to get the work done. I have yet to have a garment come back with issues, whether being not clean, pressed wrong or for any other failure of the work. I have been told on occasion that the material may not last as it goes thorough the cleaning process, or the workmanship of some pieces are not constructed well, even if they tried to be delicate with it. Its not about just making a buck but rather the concern of longevity of keeping a customer. I have trusted them since day one and as long as they are in business with this ownership, they have my loyalty. All the best read more

Well. I went for the first time yesterday, the gentlemen on the front desk welcomed me in a very bad way, or i may say he didn't welcome me at all. I had my shirts clean and i just wanted them ironed, he made a sarcastic laugh and he said $7 (i felt like he wanted to send me away). i visited 3 other Dry clean places within same zip code and they offered great prices between $2-$3. Thank you read more

This place lost over $300 worth of dry cleaning ! Came back with ticket & owner could not find my Sport Coat & a 1/2 a dozen expensive dress shirts ! Told me "someone else pick them up" I produced the ticket and I asked him how can one pick up something without a ticket? Said you can take me to small claims court! No effort to refund or even free dry cleaning read more

I took my wedding dress here to get cleaned and pressed - everyone was very nice and complimentary, and reassured me that I was leaving my expensive items in good hands. The turnaround was quick, the price was comparable to other dry cleaners in the area, and the end result was squeaky clean and perfectly pressed. read more

I've been using Toluca Lake Cleaners for at least 15 years. I am a label whore and because I am, I'm kinda picky. Okay not kinda, I'm REALLY picky! They take care of my clothes like I would if I owned a dry cleaners. Although, now that I think about it maybe, I SHOULD own one. Because, I might save some money!! I have to say taking care of my clothes doesn't come cheap. I spend A LOT of money here (it's not a $1.50 an item place) but, I wouldn't go anywhere else because, I believe you get what you pay for. In this case a reliable, (they've never "lost" a single thing of mine) business where you're treated like family, that does an amazing job. I recently moved out of the area and tried some place closer (I felt like I was cheating on them!) to my new home and let's just say never again! I drive to Toluca Lake from West Hollywood and it's well worth my time! If you're a label whore or even if you just like taking care of your things, you will not be disappointed. read more

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASES PLEASE PLEASE REVIEW ALL THE REVIEWS HERE BEFORE YOU TRUST THESE IDIOTS WITH YOUR CLOTHING!!! They are incompetent and don't care after they have your money in their hands!!!!!! Terrible Service. I hate that I have to give them a star. This doesn't allow me to give them none and the one star is just too high an honor for these idiots. I took a bra here once to be fitted for a gown I was wearing the following afternoon. The woman stated it would be ready that same day I took it in. I never received a call to inform me if the bra was ready. I returned at 4pm and not only was the woman gone for the day but the bra was still big! I was charged for the alterations nonetheless with a 'promise' I would receive a call. Nothing. 6 months later, I have an event to cater and take my favorite chef coat to be cleaned and pressed. It appeared to be pressed - not cleaned. No apologies; multitude of explanations including (1) well, you brought it here because you couldn't clean it yourself; (2) well we don't have the products to clean it all the way; (3) there is nothing we can do; (4) we cannot give you a refund although we want to; and my all-time favorite when I asked if they are proud of the product they gave me and I will eventually have to walk out of the door with the OWNER said, "Yes. Yes I am." Sadly, an elderly woman was next to me with the same complaint and they were giving her excuses, as well. When I said I will give them a bad review, the owner actually said, "Make sure you have our name correct". Arrogant s.o.b. who is just in it for the money. It appears they don't care although their sign says that they do. Once your money is in their hands, nothing matters. Nasty. Never again. read more

I wont apologize for the one star . This place is a rip off ! My husband took two dress shirts to this place... $6 each. WTF? And he left a jacket and dress when he picked up these shirts - so it was too late to retrieve those... just the jacket and dress were $36! I will never use them EVER again. My mom uses another place that is in Burbank and it's reasonably priced. ($2 a garment) Oh i almost forgot, i took my wedding dress to get preserved here. When i finally got it back they had PUT stains on the front and back of the bodice. I was furious. They of course had it cleaned for no charge. But still...its my wedding dress! read more
