This place is a must. I got the bun bo hue and bo ne. Both hit the spot. I don't live nearby but wish I did cus this is one of those places you'd go to again and again. I feel like bo ne is somewhat hard to come by, as in not all Vietnamese restaurants have it, so to find this gem was great. So much flavor and not oily!

I originally left a 3-star review to be nice, but I'm updating it to 1 star. The owner was rude and unprofessional, which completely changed my impression. The food didn't help either. The bún bò broth was watered down with barely any flavor, and the bánh canh was thick, gummy, and had a metallic taste. The only thing I enjoyed was the bò né. Overall, not worth the price. There are much better Vietnamese spots in Duluth--this is definitely not one of them.

My husband and I stopped in on a busy Sunday and despite the crowd, we were seated right away. We ordered the BBH, Saigon Pizza, and Xiu Mai. Every dish came out flavorful and well-prepared. The Saigon Pizza was a standout with its crispy rice and unique blend of flavors still on our minds. We appreciated the generous portions and left feeling completely satisfied and even had leftovers to enjoy later. All in all it was a fantastic dining experience with great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

This is my second time here, I think my first time here is during their soft opening period, August 2025. I was with my friend for a girl's day date. Was greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant. It doesn't have much seating, maybe 10-12 tables? I was seated right away and he brought the water, setups, and menu. I waited for my friend to arrive before ordering, giving her a chance to look over the menu. I already knew what I wanted... the Bun Bo Hue (it's what I got last time and really enjoyed it). It comes with a giant plate of veggies that I add to my bowl, along with some shrimp paste, chili crisps, and lime. I stirred it all up, made sure that the vegetables are soaking in the broth. The pork hock and beef were super tender and they gave you a generous portion of it. Very flavorful and definitely hit the spot on this cold day. My friend got a Thai tea and Bo Ne. The baguette that came with the dish is absolutely amazing. Crunchy on the outside and super fluffy on the inside. I took a piece of it and dipped it in my soup. WOW!!! Next time I go back, I'll be sure to ask for a baguette for my Bun Bo Hue. She said the Thai tea is not overly sweet, which is enjoyable. I would like to try other dishes on the menu, but I just can't pull myself away from what I like. Maybe next time!

Went on a Saturday at lunch time and ordered the Bun Bo Hue. It was very flavorful and hit the spot to satisfy my noodle soup craving. The menu is small but I do want to come back and try the Banh Canh.

Delicious food, fast friendly service and decent prices. The portions are great. I doubt you'll finish the bowl. I got Bun bo hue and Saigon pizza. The pizza had a great rice toasting on the bottom. The meat on top was real savory. Noodles in the soup are perfect.

My sister took me and the family to this cute little restaurant specialized in Bun Bo Hue and it didn't disappoint! We got seated and ordered within 5 mins. We each got a bowl and it was so delicious! I love the broth and the amount of meats and topping they give! The price is a little bit more than average but it is truly quality! I will for sure come back!

Not yet. This is a generous rating b/c it's a mom & pop during their soft opening. =. Ambiance is popular, busy, rushed and chaotic. They are in their soft opening phase and still have many kinks to work out. Their wait list is not orderly, poor time estimate by 96%. Likewise, there is NO Order on when your waiter will make it to your table. The waiter served tables that were seated AFTER us, before he made to our table like 10 minutes. Definitely not FIFO. They NEED to move stainless water cups from their buss dolly and away from children's reach. Same goes for their condiment dishes on the counter. We witnessed 2 different families' children touch and play with them and the staff weren't aware! +. Food is authentic Vietnamese street food. Menu is small... mostly soup based. I felt like having brunch so I tried their bo ne. It was nicely presented but quite salty. Partly b/c they forgot to serve my roll even after asking for it twice. Even with the half warmed roll, it's not a dish I'd have again. My friend had their name sake, BBH and doctored it up to her liking. She found it very similar to how she had it in Vietnam. +. Price is little higher than typical pho restos around Atlanta. Approximately $20-$30pp. -. Service is friendly but unsatisfactory. Our wait was about an hour due to their mishap. Then the wait service was lacking and bumPy. Missing roll that took 10 minutes, while my food got cold. We weren't provided flatware, dishes weren't served at the same time but 15 minutes apart, etc. Unsanitary cups and condiment dishes. These aren't entirely staffs' fault but clean serving dishes shouldn't be in reach of any children. The staff weren't aware the children had played with them and also shouldn't put clean cups on the shelf below dirty dishes. +. Parking is free and shared with other merchants. It'll be a long while before I'd try this place again. It took over 2 hours for an average meal with too many mishaps. Bring your patience if you visit. MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane -- Disgusted - Don't bother =. Missed the Mark +. Good ++ Better +++ EDIBLE... WHERE have you bee my LiFe!

Let me start off by saying that Vietnamese food is my top cuisine of all time. I LOVE Viet food! And have tried many places in Orange County, Bay Area, and Atlanta! This is the best Bun Bo Hue that I've tried!! If you like spicy flavorful soup, then you should try this place. The broth isn't as oily as other places I've tried. It's light and leaves me feeling good after. They give good amounts of meat and noodles per bowl. Service is always fast and the people here are nice and friendly. Ambiance is casual, clean, and lively.

(4.5 stars****) For starters I want to recognize the staff here, the workers are SO kind and attentive, it really makes a huge difference! Now, the reason I give this place a 4.5 instead of 5 is the fact that they're called Bun Bo Hue kitchen but I thought the Bun Bo Hue was pretty bland....(in my opinion) Along from the broth, the meat, noodles, and veg were all amazing the sizzling steak plate and Saigon pizza were DELICIOUS. I would definitely recommend the Saigon pizza it was so crispy/ flavorful 10/10

Came in for lunch and got greeted right away. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was fantastic! I got the Bo Ne (steak & egg skillet). Everything was so flavorful, I cleaned my plate. Very relaxing atmosphere with positive vibes. 10/10 will come back again

The restaurant is in a plaza, so there are plenty of parking spots. The restaurant doesn't have a big sign yet, but you can see their logo and name on the front door. I took my parents here for lunch, and it was packed, probably because today is a holiday. They're still in their soft opening period, so the operation is a bit of a mess, but the staff are very nice, friendly, and working really hard to make up for it. They're definitely understaffed. There's no host, no waiting list, and no proper line. It's first come, first served in the sense that if you see an empty table, you can seat yourself. If you're waiting outside and someone else walks in and sees an open table, they can take it, even if you've been waiting longer. So if you're visiting as a group and the restaurant is full, it's best to have at least one person wait inside to grab a table as soon as one opens up. There were only two servers covering the entire restaurant: taking orders, bringing water, utensils, and food. It would save everyone time if napkins, utensils, and condiments were already set at the table. But maybe they're still figuring things out. Right now, the tables are completely cleared between customers, so every time new guests sit down, the servers have to run back and forth for all the basics. Since it's a soft opening, the menu is very simple, just five items and soft drinks. Our table had three people. After placing our orders, the chicken wings were brought out and left on the table, but we had to wait quite a while for two sets of utensils. They were so busy that even though we asked multiple times for the third set, it never came, so I ended up grabbing it myself from the utensil cart. We tried 3 out of the 5 dishes on their menu: - Bún bò Huế: Tasty, but a bit too spicy. It's supposed to be spicy, but maybe next time I'll ask if they offer a milder broth option. - Bánh canh: The broth was good. The noodles were a bit too thick and large for my taste. The shrimp and quail eggs were fresh, which I appreciate. Many places use canned quail eggs, but this restaurant uses fresh ones. - Umami wings: Not greasy, which is great. I liked that the flavor wasn't overly salty or seasoned. You check out at the cashier, but when they asked for my table number, I realized there were no numbers on any of the tables. A server had to come with me so I could point out our table, and he could identify the number. Even then, they got the order wrong. I listed everything we had, and he read back something completely different. I had to repeat our order several times. Luckily, I had included a special note with our order, and they were eventually able to find it, but it was logged under the wrong table number. All in all, the food, especially the noodles, was good. I'll likely return once things are more organized or when it's less crowded. For now, takeout might be the better option.

Want to start off by saying that we had such great service here- our waitress answered all our questions and was very attentive. Ambiance is good as well. Lots of parking available. We got a couple of things: - Pan fried pork buns: The bun was nice & fluffy with a crispy bottom and juicy meat filling. The sauce it came with was great too- perfectly sweet & vinegary. - Dry beef mixed noodles: The beef was super tender, and the noodles were flavorful. This is meant to be a cold dish, but my mom was a bit hesitant about that and they were more than willing to serve it hot! (I definitely recommend having it cold though haha) - Szechuan Numbed Pepper Broth: Got this with fatty beef. I know some similar places let you put the fillings into the broth yourself, but ours came already assembled (which is what I personally prefer). We loved how mala this broth is, probs my favorite dish we got. Also loved the texture and lightness of the rice noodles. Lots of great fillings like quail egg, spam, wood ear mushroom, cabbage. - Korean Kimchi Broth: Got this with pork chop (though actually it was pork ribs). This is a great choice if you want a tomato-y broth that has a hint of spice and acidity. Another instance of the great service because the pork ribs were kind of hard to eat with our utensils and when we asked if they could possibly cut it up, they did not hesitate to do so. Also, the pork was (again) so tender! Would, no doubt, come back for another meal here. 10/10 would recommend!

Their heaters must've stopped working because it was uncomfortably cold inside. We asked to be seated to one of the tables at the far side of the room (entry/exit door is in the middle). We ordered noodle soups and dumplings. The broth flavors were good maybe not the best I've had. Overall solid broth flavor and ingredients too. Soup Dumplings were stuck to the paper and couple of them broke while picking up. We ordered one steamed and one pan fried but both orders were steamed. We sent back the wrong order; no apology for extra wait or anything like that. Overall service is somewhat typical casual Asian restaurants where you have to wave them down if you want something, which is not very good if they're expecting 20% tips. If you're looking for a causal soup place, this is a good to OK place. I probably wouldn't recommend it as a top 5 option for Asian soups considering the many other high quality options in Atlanta.

This restaurant soft-opened in March 2024 and officially opened in April 2024 in the old Breakers Korean barbecue space near the defunct Gwinnett Place Mall, and I-85 at Pleasant Hill Rd (exit 104). It's spacious, but can fill up quick. We arrived at noon on a Saturday and there were still plenty of open tables. However, by the time we left, shortly after 1pm, it was packed with people looking for tables. Someone jumped on our table as we were getting up to leave. This is not a sit-down restaurant. Instead, you order at one of two touchscreen kiosks at the entrance and then wait for your number to be called to pick up your food. Everything is self-serve, from condiments to hot broth. You also bus your own table. Here's what three of us got: B3. Heo [sic] Naengmyeon ($16.99) - spicy sweet potato starch noodles with raw fish (should be spelled "hoe") C3-B1. Naengmyeon and Yuk Jeon ($20.99) - cold sweet potato starch noodles and thinly sliced beef pancake C1-B1. Naengmyeon and Dwaeji Yang Nyum Gui ($18.99) - cold sweet potato starch noodles and grilled pork neck D4. Kimchi Son Mandu ($11.99) - handmade kimchi dumplings My wife and I love naengmyeon. We thought Naju's version was good, especially in this fast-casual format. To nitpick, the noodles stuck together and the ice melted too fast. Regardless, I found the noodles to be delicious, refreshing, and satisfying. The spicy version came with a small bowl of icy broth on the side. The raw fish, beef pancake, and grilled pork neck were all tasty and of decent quality. As for the handmade kimchi dumplings, they were legit. Big and filling. In addition to naengmyeon, Naju also offers a variety of Korean soups (e.g., seolleongtang - ox bone soup and gomtang - beef bone soup) and LA galbi (grilled short ribs). During our visit, the pickup counter was staffed by a bunch of ajummas (Korean middle-aged women), basically Korean lunch ladies. I'd come back. This place seems ideal for a quick stop for an easy and reliable Korean meal / comfort food.

The dumplings I ordered were kinda meh too. I feel like I could boil some Bibigo or Pulmuone dumplings from H-Mart and they would have been better. But again, this is a pretty big Korean area outside Atlanta and its possible I just don't know what I'm talking about on this one. In any case, it isn't really for me, and the dumplings were not great.

The staff couldn't direct me, but a local showed me the way. It's actually located inside a place called "Sweet Octopus". Again, very confusing! It appears there are 3 restaurants in one. You can order inside of sweet octopus for rakkan ramen. The weirdest situation but it was clean inside and the staff did help me with picking out my food options. I got a sushi roll and a classic ramen. The food came out pretty fast but the taste was just okay. I was kinda shocked and disappointed. I added muscles to mine and they were disgusting. I do not feel as though downtown Duluth truly captures the amazing food scene of the city, but again, an old friend did like it enough to tell me about it. Inside was pretty spacious. High ceilings and bright. You have to go up front and order, and they'll give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. Pretty standard so far. It's not too loud, even with the music playing in the background, so not bad for hanging out with friends after the food is done, though we didn't. We were all pretty disappointed with our food. It wasn't bad, thankfully, it was just meh. We could've literally drove 5 minutes away for better, so we left as soon as we finished. The good thing is you get to choose what protein you want with your dish, which is nice. However, the chicken katsu here is thin. Also, the K-Fried chicken doesn't really mesh with the pasta. It's like a skewer on the side of your main dish. You can eat them separately and be happy enough. I was ok with the bulgogi, but I would've expected better from a Korean establishment. I haven't tried every single protein option, but I won't lie, tofu in pasta isn't the most appealing to me. For the main dishes, it was pretty bland, especially the omurice. We found a restaurant not far from the matcha shop. It felt more like a Chinese takeout spot than a traditional sit-down restaurant, so there wasn't much to speak of in terms of decor. We decided to share everything we ordered. The first dish we tried was the Szechuan noodles. The flavor was excellent, but unfortunately, the dish arrived only lukewarm, as it appeared to have been sitting for a while before being brought to the table. Next, we ordered soup dumplings, but the restaurant accidentally brought out pan-seared dumplings instead. Thankfully, they let us keep them while they prepared our original order. The pan-seared dumplings were actually very good--piping hot and full of flavor. When the soup dumplings finally arrived, they were decent but didn't quite live up to the pan-seared version and lacked the same level of flavor. Finally, our Szechuan chicken arrived. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. The chicken was crispy with a great spice profile that delivered the classic Szechuan kick without being overwhelming. It was served with fried rice, which was fine but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, the experience was good but not exceptional. The food had some strong points, especially the Szechuan chicken and pan-seared dumplings, but the restaurant ultimately felt more like a solid Chinese takeout spot than a destination dining experience.
