First of all bun and blanket is amazingly delicious. I went to bun and blanket today while having a couple brews at paperback, and I placed my order the gentleman that took my order. Read it back to me and it was correct. When I received my chili cheese fries, I said no onion, but they had onion on them. I was willing to pick off onions, and then I realized there were too many. I went back to the food truck and spoke to another gentleman which I presume is either the owner or the manager and he was so accommodating, he fixed me up with a new chili cheese fries and it was beyond delicious. I would give this place more than five stars. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. You have definitely got to go check this place out. read more

'For the win' is just around the corner and you would be better off going to bun & blanket instead. The first time I heard about this place was through a very good mutual friend from Saro, aka the traveling greek. I tried their burgers for the first time, and, let me tell you, this place is amazing. Their service is top notch l, the owners are super friendly, and the girl working the register and taking orders is funny and very friendly. The food is beyond this world, and the taste is extremely delicious. I am very picky about what I eat and trust me, and believe me when I tell you this place is a must to check out if anyone is in the area. They parked their food truck in front of a bar called paperback in the city of glendale. I always want to help all my friends succeed in their ventures. Where are all my burger fanatics?!!! You have to try this food truck. You can't just eat here once, there's always something new and exciting on the menu. I've already tried the smash burger, the Gogi burger, the falafel burger, the birria tacos and the gogi fries. Everything is fresh and made daily with so much flavor and high quality meat. The taste is always amazing and consistent. They also have vegetarian options and they have dog friendly options! How amazing is that? The price for the fries at $15 is a little north of what we'd want to pay for a side, but other than that I have nothing but praise for this food truck. The burger is simple and hits the spot. I took my sons there yesterday for the first time and it's one of the best smash burgers I've ever had. The patty is cooked to perfection. The edges of the burger are those crispy, delicious edges you want in a smash burger and yet they don't completely flatten the patty so it's more juicy and robust. It's the perfect combination of texture and flavor. They clearly take pride in what they're doing. A lot of care and intention are put into creating their signature burger. From the bun to the pickles, the quality in the ingredients stands out. The loaded fries are fire too. On top of all that, the guys running the food truck are genuine, kind and down to earth. The burgers were good not great (I think a "build your own condiments" would've been better than the provided K/M) the grilled cheese was exactly what you would expect from a kid'a grilled cheese. Our family looooves breweries. One of our favorites is Paperback Brewery in south Glendale. The bun and blanket food truck is always there so serve some of the best smash burgers around. Pair that with beer and you're set for a night of laughs and good vibes. We've eaten here upwards of ten times at this point and we are always a large party. Not once have they messed up our order and each time we are left satisfied. They have a good selection of burgers and fries that once again pair well with the beer. Highly recommend. I was skeptical of the rating, but after the first bite I knew it was no exaggeration. I spoke to the owner after I finished my single patty smash and gave him my compliments. He told me they use a wagyu/angus blend and work very hard to provide the best burger possible. I told him they were living up to and beyond expectations. The burger is so flavorful even without any toppings. The meat is delicate and practically melts in your mouth with each bite. My only mistake was not asking for no ketchup! I am not a fan of it on burgers, but the burger was so good I basically didn't mind. They put on just the right amount of everything and no single item overwhelms. The burger itself is the star. Fries were fresh out the fryer and dusted with cajun spice. Perfectly crisp and a little bigger than shoe string. Hopefully they get a wider drink selection - some flavored lemonades would be great for the summer! And if you're a beer drinker, the bun and burger food truck is camped out in front of a cool brewery where you can grab a table inside. I'm going to say something quite controversial... the fries with the special sauce are better than in n out. I know, I know, that's a bold statement and as a life long Angeleno almost blasphemous, but if you've tried them than you know they're legit. A group of us went to paperback brewing in Glendale and we're excited by the smells emitting from this truck. We knew it was going to be legit, at first smell, and secondly by sight. We all had the double smash, shared a side of the special fries and got my son a single. Everything was so good, in fact my husband, friend and son went back for another round of burgers and another round fries. It all was so good we ate without taking any pics. On to the best news, since our first visit, Bun and Blanket have become the resident truck for Paperback. We have been back once since then and weren't really even hungry as we had a late lunch earlier that afternoon. My son took down a burger, which has become his favorite burger. I've had the bulgogi fries (and probably some other variations) a few times as well. The truck is outside of paperback brewing. I'm talking layers of flavor, IG-worthy aesthetics, ingredients are fresh and well seasoned. Explosions of flavor, texture, presentation right on. Sauce is plentiful, nothing is skipped, grateful for the napkins as they are necessary. Very much worth a trip if you're not local. I am a happy eater. read more
