Nice experience. Hubby and I each had Boosted Bumper Burgers, which are cheeseburgers topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and bumper sauce (which is a mayo based sauce with seasonings and dijon mustard--if my tastebuds are right!). Delish! They offer additional toppings at no charge (other than a fried egg which is .99 cents) The burgers were like smash burgers--crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. Cooked just right. The fries were served hot and seasoned with cajun like seasoning. (Salted fries were also an option.) Food took 5 minutes from order to delivery to our table. Restaurant was clean. Employee behind the counter was very nice and helpful. We'll definitely be back when we're craving a burger.

Signed up for a deal at this place a little while back but never used the discount because I thought it was in a completely different location but was notified that they were running a buy one Bumper Burger and get one for $1 special for National Burger Day which seemed like a good deal so I made the drive over to Route 59 and got there a little after 3pm. I got 2 Bumper Burgers with everything (including grilled jalapeños, onions and mushrooms) and spicy bumper sauce but with one on a bun and one in a lettuce wrap. Both tasted great and were just the right amount of food for a late lunch where we didn't necessarily want to ruin our dinner. The $5 Bumper Burger is a decent value for the price but you're probably better off just getting the double patty "Bumper 2 Bumper" option and especially so if you've got a big appetite. Also ordered some chicken tenders for my nieces which were a good size and had a delicious breading. The habanero sauce I got with them was a tasty sweet-and-sour-like sauce that was not too spicy and made me end up stealing a couple of bites back from them. Made me curious to try their other sauces as well. Fries were delicious too. I usually don't like Cajun seasoning and will get fries just salted instead when possible which I was going to do again but I found the smell of the fries actually pretty alluring when I walked in so I asked for a light amount of seasoning and ended up really enjoying them. The inside of the restaurant was clean and had a steady stream of customers coming in and going through the drive-thru as I waited for my order which did not take long. The service was polite and helpful. As I was leaving I noticed that there milkshake offerings included unique options like pistachio, mango, mokaccino, lotus and Nutella and had wished I had noticed that before but I guess I can always just grab one next time.

I've passed by this location many times and recently stopped by for the very first time. I've visited the Lombard location a number of times. There used to be ample parking, they are adjacent to the Texas Roadhouse so you can hear the random country music playing in the parking lot. I ordered a bumper burger and made it a combo. The cashier confirmed if I wanted the smaller size single patty or what they consider to be a regular size...I was hungry so I went with the regular size. I enjoy the additional toppings you can get for no additional cost...I went with grilled mushrooms and grilled jalapeños on top of the regular everything toppings with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, American cheese, and signature Bumper sauce. The bumper sauce was similar to a tangy mayo sauce. For fries able to choose salted or seasoned...went with seasoned. Chose to dine in and they brought our order to our table. Everything was very delicious and well seasoned. The restaurant is a long rectangular shape and the seating area seems kind of far from the area you order from. It appeared slightly inconvenient for staff to walk all that way to call out a number or order and guests couldn't really tell if their order was ready right away because of the distance and there isn't an open wall to the order area from the dining portion of the restaurant. Otherwise would definitely eat this again!

Drove by this place many times. I was finally in the area at lunchtime and tried a burger and fries. Excellent flavor! I love the free toppings!!! It took a little time to get my food, but it was well worth the wait. The meat has a great cracked black peppercorn flavor. I will be back to try the chicken tenders too.

Love this place, one of our favorite Burger & Hot Dog option in the fox valley area. Really good service, clean facilities and very consistent quality. Thank you

The first time I stop at any establishment with the word "Burger" in its name, I will order their burger. It's a given for me, like saying, "Okay, show me what you got." That's exactly what I did at Bumper 2 Burger in Aurora -- and show me they did. Believe me, they make a nice burger here! I opted for the flagship Bumper 2 Bumper with everything (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, American cheese, and their signature Bumper sauce), substituting grilled onions instead of raw, while my wife opted for a standard Bumper Burger, minus lettuce and onion. We split a regular order of fries, which proved to be enough for the two of us. The burgers were freshly made, moist and flavorful, with fresh toppings, all served on a branded potato roll bun. The fries were hot, properly salted, and quite tasty. Service was friendly as well as timely and the place was clean. We will be back!

Don't get me wrong the burger is juicy and delicious but the fries are just to die for. I love how crispy and well seasoned they are! Luckily this is near my home and I will eat here frequently.

Got for a work lunch. The Philly was goooodddd!!! Not enough photos of other items so I "had" to order the Philly just so I can post pictures!! Just the right amount of char on pieces and good black pepper amount!

First time at Bumper 2 Burger, and it was a very positive experience! Food we ordered- Bumper burger w/ fried egg: One of my favorite burgers from a chain restaurant. Extremely juicy but not greasy. Definitely add that fried egg for a flavor boost! Regular seasoned fries: Decent portions and VERY good quality. I love my fries chunky and soft on the inside, and this is definitely it. Spicy chicken tenders: Fresh chicken tenders and has a kick to it. I've had better chicken tenders elsewhere tho. Service was decent. Food was brought to our table within 10 min. Plenty tables and space inside, and they kept the area clean.

This place is very ok. The food and milkshakes are good, but definitely not worth the price.

I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years, visiting about three times a month, and I always order the same thing: the Famous Chicken Gyro (#14, no tomatoes) with a fresh, made-to-order sack of fries. Until now, I have never had a problem. On 12/15 at approximately 5:10 PM, I came in and ordered my usual and dined in. When I bit into the gyro, after getting past the honey mustard, the chicken was hard, crusty, and completely dried out--clearly overcooked from sitting too long on the rotisserie. While disappointing, I didn't make a big deal out of it. I finished my fries, which were still hot and fresh, and calmly showed the cashier the gyro. I spoke quietly and respectfully and explained that the chicken wasn't good. She was polite and said they would remake it. I thanked her several times and explained that I normally don't complain, but I was hungry and on a short lunch break. I asked if I could take the replacement to go since I was running late. As I grabbed my jacket and returned to the counter, I overheard the cashier telling the two cooks something along the lines of, "It's not like that--he's a nice guy and comes here all the time." I took this as her trying to explain that I wasn't trying to get free food, just that the gyro had been poorly prepared. When I returned to work and opened the replacement gyro, I was shocked. There was a broom bristle placed inside the chicken gyro, hidden under a large amount of honey mustard. I have spent a significant amount of money at this business over the years, and I am beyond angry and disappointed. Putting what appears to be a dirty broom bristle--used to clean floors--into a customer's food is unacceptable, unsanitary, and malicious. Because of how this was handled and how I was treated, I will never return. I am filing complaints and sharing this experience publicly so others are aware. This is not about a bad gyro--it's about employee behavior and food safety, and I hope ownership takes this seriously.

I also ordered a small side of Greek fries but it was underwhelming. The feta wasn't very good and the fries were watery at the bottom of the container - maybe because I got takeout and the condensation made them moist. Got takeout and they were perfectly warm and crispy by the time I got home. My husband got a Philly cheesesteak which was also perfectly warm once we got back to eat! They're situated on the south end of strip mall home to a Rosati's and a Subway. They opened in mid-April 2024 (the space used to be All Star Diner) and the banner outside almost seems temporary. Hopefully they're here for more than just a short stint because..... The gyros sandwich ($8) was great with a good portion of seasoned gyro meat, onions, tomato, and tzadziki. Fries were fine, same style as Mcdonalds and just as salty, which I liked. I'm typically a crinkle cut guy, though these tasted better than they looked. The 'dinger' ($10) disappointingly did not come with fries--as all other hot dogs did--but I still enjoyed it. This unique Southside item is a tamale inside a chili cheese dog with onions and sport peppers. Though tasty, I wouldn't get this again (ridiculously carb-heavy) and will stick with a loaded chili cheese dawg on future visits. Both times I've stopped in for lunch, they had JERRY SPRINGER on TV! Hole-in-the-wall places like this serving hot dogs/gyros/etc are some of my favorite ones to hit up around midday. I took my order, snapped a picture of the truck so I could remember all of the relevant information and headed to my friends apartment to try this hot dog out. The hot dog I received came on a slightly dry regular non-poppy seed bun. The application of mustard was a bit heavy, but the relish and onions were well applied. The relish used was not the standard neon green Chicago style relish, as a result this relish was a tad more sour than most. The sausage itself was a skinless hot dog, and was well heated. This is my first food truck review, as I spot more food trucks I may do more. While the hot dog wasn't great by restaurant standards I didn't go in with high expectations. As a result I wasn't really disappointed. At only 1.99 for the hot dog, the price wasn't too bad. I can't say I'd recommend it, but if you like food trucks it would be worth stopping at.
