This is a very cute place for little ones and their guardians. My first time there was quick and easy to register and start the fun! They have a variety of toys to rotate around and plenty of items for imaginary play, like a house and kitchen. The slides and anything that encourages bouncing were the most popular items. The 1.5-hour playtime with the entry fee is great, but I highly suggest checking their website for hours and the event calendar, as the play area can reach full capacity. It also seems like a very popular event venue, so the entire place could be booked for a private event. I would like to see a tiny improvement of more frequent cleaning especially where the littles one are, because they crawl and pick up small debris. read more

Came here with our toddler recently and he had a good time! The price tag for admission was pretty affordable at $10, and like most other play places in the area, parents were free :) It's not a huge play space but my toddler enjoyed going down the slides, cooking in the kitchen, and generally running around everywhere. I guess this place's shtick is that they sell beer, but we came in the morning so that was a no-go :) However, my wife did get a latte and she thought it was decent! Employees were generally helpful, although they were on their phone a lot and weren't super outgoing and friendly. It also wasn't super busy, which I appreciated since some of the other play spaces in the area can get very crowded. Overall, I do think we will add Bumble Brews into our toddler rotation since he had a great time. read more

First visit here was to celebrate the grandson's first birthday. The little shop was closed for his party. There was a special room set up with a table for the birthday cake and food that was brought in for the party. There was also a good selection of teas and coffees, plus wine and beer available for purchase. There were benches, chairs and couches for adults to sit on if you chose not to join your little one on the floor. Two bathrooms were available. Facility was clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly. The kiddos had a blast playing with and on the age appropriate equipment and toys. Nice variety and spacious area for play. Bumble Brews is the best play place in the area. I have been taking my baby for the last 10 months and she's learned so much in our time there. She loves it and gives me a big toothy grin when we park in the lot. The space is well sized, clean, and there is a variety of toys/structures for different ages. We came as a crawler and took our first steps here. They have a variety of drinks and snacks to choose from, ask for the Jamie special if you want a fantastic iced coffee drink. I don't know what's in it but it sure is fantabulous. I've made friends here, and I know I'm not alone in this. Blair, the owner and Jamie, the manager get to know you and really care about their customers. This is a place where all are welcome and you can feel that right away. We love the open play cafe. The hours are 8-1 and 4-7 and you play for 1.5 hours. If you come frequently, there is also a monthly option. Parents and caregivers can purchase delicious coffee drinks made with Larry's beans or beer or juices or sparkling water. There are juice box options for the little ones and some snack items. The seating in the front area is also great for snacks and games and then you take off your shoes and play in the open space. There are all kinds of toys, a little kitchen, a slide and other objects to climb and jump. Our 2 year old loves the space and has a big smile on his face every time we approach the door. We have been multiple times and I only have positive things to say. I have a newly one-year-old and with this heat and two big dogs, Bumble Brews is a God send. It's nice to find an indoor facility where we feel safe. Everything is kept very clean. Bonus! The owners change out the toys frequently so each visit is unique. I truly value the ability to allow our little one an area to roam around without worrying about the dogs knocking her down. Freedom! We picked up lunch on the way, ate together at the adorable table setup they have. Then, my husband and I enjoyed watching her play while sipping some rosé. What could make for a better day?! Bumble Brews is the best! My husband and toddler had enjoyed the location previously, but they were also able to come to our rescue as a birthday party location on short notice. Incredible experience from start to finish - kind and quality service all the way. The idea itself is just wonderful. Kids get the opportunity to play and explore the cute and clean play area while parents can get a break within view and easy reach at the attached cafe - which serves a variety of snacks and beverages. The birthday package is such a great deal - you get the dedicated space for up to 50 people. And the staff (including the lovely owner!) were so great - especially patient with the few rowdy older siblings we had attending the 4 year old focused event. Bumble Brews was perfect for our son's 3rd birthday party. We had ~14 children and ~20 adults and there was room for more. The kids had a wonderful time, as expected, but the adults also really enjoyed watching their kids play without having to worry about them getting hurt or running too far away. The coffee and snacks there were fantastic. The staff was super helpful and flexible with our party and our group the entire time and made it so much easier than previous parties we have hosted at other sites. All of the feedback from party guests was extremely positive and many and planning to use this location for their next party. Highly recommend. read more

Went there for a children's party. Very clean. The funky monkey latte was amazing, way better than Starbucks. Met the owner while there and she was nice as was the other gentleman there. I enjoyed the small business so much I purchased one of their T-shirts. It's really soft and has held up well so far. Will be back for coffee and drinks for sure. I love this place! If they had a membership program I would totally sign up. I have a one year old baby boy who had a BLAST today here. It's very very clean, has a nice selection of toys for different age groups, and a good selection of drinks and snacks. Perk was how friendly the staff were towards me and my son. It is geared towards younger ones (6 and under) so keep that in mind if you visit. I'll definitely be back, it's nice to finally find something my son can do and still feel comfortable because they are handling the pandemic very well. Super disappointed. Drove from Raleigh to bring my kids and feel safe. I heard they were requiring masks and limiting capacity. HOWEVER, in reality, all the adults buy a beverage and then use that as an excuse not to wear their mask as they WALK AROUND among the children. The staff does not ask them to please stay seated a table while they enjoy beverages maskless. They don't care. Very very disappointed. Won't be back and will spread the word. read more

My 1.5 yr old had a blast! The staff was very kind and made a delicious dirty chai! They have socks for the littles and shoe covers if you don't have socks on. One of my favorite aspects was the bin for toys that had been in a child's mouth. Bumble brews is a super unique and fun place for toddlers. The owner has worked really hard to develop fair and inclusive pricing and policies so that this is truly a bargain play space for families. The staff are SO courteous and welcoming, even when the place gets busy! If you need anything you simply have to politely ask and they will let you know how they can work with you. Love this place! I'm pregnant and bring my 22 month old here and he always has a blast. I like the 90 min play time blocks (just long enough to play with most things and then leave so he's still interested in coming back). You can tell she cleans well between play sessions. The coffee (lattes) are delicious. I feel the pricing and quality of coffee is comparable to other cafes. You don't have to be a patron of the play place to get your cuppa joe here :) And I think the pricing is fair ($8 for my one kid) and I know there is a membership option now that would make it more affordable. I also like that child capacity is limited to 10 children. It's just enough in the space to feel like you can be separate from others if you want. Right now during the pandemic all adults have been wearing masks (not sure about age requirement because my kiddo is too young anyway). I briefly chatted with the owner and she seems to be bringing new things into the play space periodically so that's also a plus! There's a climbing/slide thing, a play supermarket, various cars and tracks, little people things, a jumping gym, a book nook, baby toys area, soft climbing area and more. This was my first time here. Pictures online looked great but when we arrived for open play it was pure chaos. It felt like there were 30-40 kids PLUS their caregivers all in the same space. My son is two and there were older kids maybe around 6 who were running around being really rough and throwing pillows around hitting the younger kids. No parents stepped in. It was so loud and so crowded it was just too much. Kids who were clearly sick were also everywhere (their parents wiping their runny noses like they didn't even care their kid was getting all their sick germs everywhere). Suggestion to the owners regarding open play: Split out the times based on age so younger kids can have open play separate from the older kids. Have parents sign the waiver indicating their child is not sick and if they exhibit any sick symptoms, they will be asked to leave. This place has so much potential.. The staff was great and the play items were nice. I think the private parties would be awesome here but I won't come back for open play. read more

Great place! The coffee was delicious and they had so many different toys for the kids. Sunday was a popular day to visit. Wish we could have stayed longer, but private parties were booked ahead of time so we stayed an hour. We are regulars at this place for a few reasons. It is one of THE ONLY kid friendly places that opens early (even on sundays)! The coffee is always great, they have many snacks and amenities for families to be comfortable while they are visiting. We love Bumble Brews! They clean after every play session and are currently enforcing limited session sizes. They check temperatures at the door. When the family and I go- we'll sip our "brews" and put our masks right back on. There are plenty of little areas to enjoy your snacks and drinks while staying distant.
