Green Chile Tortilla Burger made with a Boca Burger
    Jeffrey C.

Been traveling for two weeks and really just wanted a good veggie burger. We found this place when we got to town. I got the green chili and cheese burger but substituted the patty with a Boca Burger and a side of sweet potato fries. Hubby had the green chili tortilla soup with tofu. Both of our orders were very flavorful and fresh tasting. My fries zesty and crispy. Our only complaint that kept my rating from being a 5 star one was the prices. We felt they were slightly high for a burger joint. But, The staff were friendly. The place was clean. And They have a nice outside patio area.

back again to try their hamburger and fries. Even though the one the other table looks so good. Hence the reason we returned in the same week, but it really wasn't anything special.

Most of the staff doesn't speak English, so it's difficult to place your order. I signed up my email on their site and they sent me a coupon for a free taco. A lady, looked to be the Manager, didn't speak English but didn't want to honor it. She has RBF. I don't think she knew how. I got it, they just didn't ring it up. The person taking my order was friendly. The vegetarian green chile stew and veggie taco were delicious! The jicama salad was spectacular!! Food takes about 20mins to receive when they aren't very busy. It's way overpriced.

We needed a quick meal within walking distance arriving into town and this place stood out for the name a colorful design. The interior was colorfully and artfully decorated. The food was better than average Mexican/Southwest food. I had a really hard time understanding the workers there and had a difficult time ordering, I think it was a combination of all the noise in the area and my inability to understand the accents (usually I'm pretty good but this was off my scale), maybe the ordering process could be simplified.

Plastic boxes, please use paper. This is pure waste.

I love the Staff. I love the food, but this new plastic packaging has to go. Get back to paper.

The food is here unbelievable!! It's a cute small secluded spot, has gorgeous lighting outside and you can smell what you're about to experience from the parking lot. They don't have servers so you order at the entrance and they bring your food out when it's ready. Everyone was nice and they were busy! I went with my partner and we both ordered different things to share. I got the Mexican burrito with steak and he ordered the half chicken plate. Everything was so delicious and perfectly spiced, the rice and beans that come with the chicken plate were also great and paired really well. My burrito was really good and it hit the right spot after a long day. They're a really long time small business and just make the best chicken ever. Highly addictive and I highly recommend!

We stopped in to Bumble Bee's today for a 'snack' (basically a very late lunch) at the recommendation of an artist we met at the Santa Fe Railyard Sunday's Artisan Market. She had described the place as a great local spot serving up really fresh food, sourced from local farms. When we pulled into the parking lot around 3 pm on a Tuesday, we were surprised to see so many cars, including 2 at the drive-thru window. After parking, while walking towards the inside, and noticed the fun drive-thru sign noting Bumble Bee's is the "Worlds Slowest Drive-Thru," since all the food is made fresh and to order. We went inside expecting table service, but this place has more of a kitchy, local fast-food restaurant vibe. You order at the counter, get a number, pick a table (inside or out) and then they bring your food out when it's ready. During your wait, you can enjoy the art all over the walls and the bees and decorations hanging from the ceiling. For our lunch, we ordered 2 bowls of green chile stew with chicken, 1 bowl of green chile stew with lamb, a fresh lemonade, a chocolate shake, a fresh horchata, and a squash and goat cheese quesadilla. We waited maybe 15 min for our food to come out, and were surprised at the portion sizes! The green chile stews were full of meat, potatoes and green chiles, plus were topped with pieces of tortilla chips, sour cream, salsa and shredded cheddar cheese. Hearty enough to be the only thing you eat all day! And the meat was cooked to perfection, tender and falling apart. Really great. The quesadilla was also fantastic. The combo of squash and goat cheese was delicious, and though we weren't able to finish it all, we brought our left overs back to our airbnb and look forward to finishing them tomorrow! We really enjoyed visiting this local gem during our brief stay in Santa Fe and would love to go back and experience more of the extensive menu! Definitely off the tourist track, yet easy to find, just around the corner from the Georgia O'Keeffe museum.

Ok so I didn't expect much from this drive through place close to home. So here's the thing, for someone who alway eats healthy and never fast food, what I had last night was a revelation. Hope it's not a one-off... circumstances caused me to call in on a Friday night and the stews are excellent. Almost finished it off before grabbing a quick, last pic. Flavorful, generous serving was scrumptious. The half chicken dinner was not overcooked and was damn good according to my girlfriend. Can't wait to have another go.

Food was average, and the establishment was more like a fast food joint. Pro: Have several vegetarian/vegan options Con: The service and flavor of the food were average, again, more like a fast-food place. The main ingredients were skimpy for a burrito and salmon tostada (burnt tostada). Recommendation: If you are visiting SF and want to experience NM's Mexican food, try another place.

The steak tacos tastes like it's steamed, the salsa has way to much garlic and the ambiance not the best but the horchata was good.

Unfortunately I was highly disappointed by food and service. I ordered fish and shrimp taco. The food wasn't bad but it's didn't come with a side of salsa or any sort of sauce. I was surprised to find them close even though online says that they are open at 11am that day. I checked on google and it was suppose to be open. I called and they said that they are open but waiting for alcohol to be delivered at 3pm. Did they assume that every customer coming in is ordering alcohol? As far as I understand this is a restaurant that serves food and alcohol and not a bar. Shortly after my arrival, there was a large tour with 12 people showed up. I could see that the waiter was a bit flustered because he also had to tend to other customer as well as the tour. I guess this is where the tour take people for authentic taco experience. In my opinion these are more toned down gringo tacos. My taco didn't come with a side of sauce like everyone else. I also noticed that the tour all received a side of salsa which I didn't. I'm not sure if the waiter forgot. I had to flag down the waiter a few time because he also forgot my drink. I also ordered an agua Fresca watermelon and it wasn't made of real watermelon but flavor syrup from the bar. I wished I had known that it wasn't real melon. 2.5 stars for the food and 2 for service. Again food wasn't terrible, but certainly wasn't close to be the best.

I have been coming here for thirty-five years, and it blows my mind that after more than three decades, it keeps reaching new heights while fiercely retaining everything that made it legendary in the first place: the unbeatable high quality, the remarkably affordable prices, and those effortlessly cool, historic vibes. It is a rare, beautiful gem that refuses to compromise its soul, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This visit was extra special because my fiancé was a first-timer, and he was instantly converted, falling just as madly in love with the magic of this place as I did decades ago. On this particular afternoon, the lines were wrapped around the courtyard and the energy was absolutely electric. It was hella busy, which is a testament to how beloved this institution remains. Rather than waiting for a table, we decided to grab our food to go--a move that turned out to be pure perfection. We took our feast over to the historic plaza square, found a spot to sit, and ate under the shade of the trees while listening to live music drift through the air. With a beautiful, cool mountain breeze rustling through the plaza, it was the most quintessential, magical Santa Fe experience you could ever ask for. As for the food, it remains an absolute revelation. I ordered my enchiladas "Christmas" style, split right down the middle with both their famous, deeply savory red chile and their bright, perfectly spiced green chile. The first bite instantly reminded me why no one else can touch what they do here. The blue corn tortillas were tender, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the chiles carried that robust, earthy, authentic New Mexico heat that warms you from the inside out. It is a flawless execution of culinary tradition. To be able to deliver that level of world-class, scratch-made perfection at a price point that still feels incredibly generous is nothing short of a miracle. Whether you sit in their enchanting, labyrinthine dining rooms or pack it up for a picnic on the square, The Shed is the absolute pinnacle of the Santa Fe spirit.

They moved us to the other side of the pillar which we originally didn't mind but then quickly realized there's no lighting there. So we were eating dinner in a very dim lit area. After reading the reviews, we were excited to try the fish tacos, tamales, and fresh chips and salsa. Unfortunately, none of these really were superstar standouts for us. The blackened fish didn't have a ton of flavor. I found myself searching for a salsa that had a little bit of salt and flavor to spruce up the fish taco. I ate one of the three and my husband ate the remaining. The tamales tasted fresh and the ratio of protein to masa was great. We ate the tamale mostly without the mole sauce, which we didn't really care for. The salsa and chips that came out as an appetizer were fine. The salsas were different and flavorful. I wish that when they dropped off the different salsas (which they do on a rotation) they would have explained what each one was.
