THEEEEEE best restaurant that I've dined at in Atlanta in a loooooooong time!!! It's got every element one could hope for when venturing out for a fun dinning experience! First of all the food was artistically well rounded. It was creative, delicious, and full of color! Secondly the service was outstanding! And thirdly, the ambience was aesthetically pleasing. I felt like I was back in Miami at one of their posh restaurants. The decor is simple and earthy. Tons of green plants throughout the room, complemented with black, brown and gold colors. Dishes you must try: smoked hamachi Brussels sprouts Oysters(great whites, Massachusetts) Flounder crude Cocktails: Spicy tequila- ( don't remember the name) The only thing I was disappointed by was the wagyu dish. The mushrooms and vegetables were delicious however the meat really didn't taste like much of anything. I wanted to love Bully Boy but...it was all just okay. The menu looks amazing, no shortage of things that I wanted to try. I got the mushroom empanadas ($10) and they were okay. Fried nicely but the flavor just never really showed up. I also got the crispy Brussels ($9) which I was most excited to try because...duh. But they arrived way passed crispy and right at the corner charred and burnt to shit Avenue. For my entree I got the 60 second steak ($22) it was cooked to perfection but again the flavor never showed up. It was like...someone just whispered salt and pepper in the cow's ear at some point and that's the closest to seasoning it ever got. Bully Boy is situated in the parking lot just in front of Two Urban Licks. They offer complimentary valet which you'll access by pulling up the ramp to Two and then you can walk down. Rideshare is really the only other option since street parking over here is virtually non-existent I will say that in keeping with being part of the TWO family the service here was top notch but based on the food, next time I'm over this way I'll just go next door to Two Urban Licks and OD on salmon chips. read more

The bar is rather small, so get in where you can. Started with the oysters and their BOURBON #1 both very tasty. For dinner: banh mi style crispy calamari to start, blue crab fried rice, and main lobster frites. Everything was really good. I enjoyed the main lobster frites the most, dip your fries in the sauce!!! Blue crab fried rice is an omurice style a nice way to have it and presentation was cute. Very cute place located at the beltline! Small and you need to make reservations! It's a great place to hang out with friends, bring a date, bring your parents although I'm not sure it's the best place for children. It's located right next to two urban licks and I think they have the same owners. It's definitely valet parking and again make reservations specially on busy nights. They're known for their seafood. I'm not a huge fan of oysters but I ate some here and they were quite delicious. I wouldn't keep eating oysters because it's not my thing but I did enjoy it. The food was also exceptional and the drinks were on point. The service is great. It's well decorated inside with a good ambience. Supper club strikes again! Last night our monthly supper club met for dinner at Billy Boy. SOOOOOOO GOOD! I had the tequila #1 drink on the menu as recommended by our server and it did not let me down. Perfect balance and not overly sweet at all. I feel like we ordered almost everything on the menu! And we loved most of it... Highlights: - 60 second steak was UNBELIEVABLE. I honestly have no words to describe just how delicious this dish was. Do yourself a favor and order it. I know this place is known for their seafood, but dammit this dish is a star! - Brussels Sprouts (I know...gross usually) we're off the chain! These Brussels were deep fried (makes everything better) and topped with some vinegar of some sort. They tasted like a salt and vinegar chip! - Tuna wraps were the perfect balance of spice, fat and fresh. They were interesting and super delicious. - Duck Bao was seasoned really well! One person in our party was not a fan of the duck fat left of the breast but everyone else loved it. - Beef tartar was out of this world!!! The flavor was so bold! I would come back for that alone. We weren't a fan of the calamari. The batter was light but I think the oil it was fried in wasn't hot enough because the calamari was super oily. Also, I'm pretty sure they didn't salt them as they came out of the fryer because they were practically flavorless. This place is awesome! BUT parking is a disaster. Valet has always been an issue at Two Urban Licks, but now that Bully Boy has opened and they share one valet stand, it has gotten 100000x worse. I was waiting in the valet line for over 30 minutes (to put that into perspective, it only took 15 minutes for me to get there from my house...UGH). I had a great experience with my bestie here. Bully Boy is located in a small rectangular establishment in front of Two Urban Licks. I enjoyed the ambience and the hip hop classics playing in the background (because that always makes for a good dining experience, right?). We shared some oysters and a few dishes. The raw oysters were quite yummy. The Florida red snapper tartar was fresh and delightful. The brussels were great side dish. Our server recommended the calamari since they were out of the BBQ Georgia White Shrimp. She said it's the best she has had. We would beg to differ. It was my least favorite dish. It just didnt work for us. The star of the show was the blue crab fried rice. The Japanese omelette is split open tableside on a bed of delicious blue crab fried rice and topped with thai lime nam jim. This is right here.... so damn good. I dream about this dish. I'm going back just for this fried rice. We talked about it all night. The table next to us had the lobster frites and that also looked delish. Love the vibe at this relatively new spot - it's in a great, trendy location adjacent to Two Urban Licks. Inside, it's intimate (not a huge space) definitely trendy, putting you in the mood for a couple cocktails. The food was on the same level as the ambiance - it was well presented and definitely tasty. Our favorite thing was probably the duck bao - it was the perfect size and the flavor profile of the duck, the bao, and the crisp veggies just went so well together. If you're really feeling yourself (we were), you can try to tackle the lobster frites. It's a ton of food, but delicious. The only thing I'd say is I wish there wasn't as much sauce on the lobster - I'm a big lobster fan and it felt a little overpowered on some bites, but definitely still worth it. This restaurant is HOT & NEW. A friend of mine recommended the spot because he knows the head chef from another place. Ambiance = Beautiful decor. Artsy with an industrial feel. I get what they did using Eastern Seaboard materials like huge thick ropes that would be on a ship. Dim lights. High chairs and booths. Middle of the restaurant is a "Community" style large/long table for bigger parties or splitting smaller ones. Menu = Unique. Seafood heavy of course. American with a twist. You won't get any Ranch dressing here. They keep it classy and specific to their dishes. Truffle butter and oil used a lot. I had the Rabbit Patty Melt. It was so delicious and tender. Very rich. Great portion. Double patties and cheese. There was a horseradish mayo and pickles that set it off. Just enough to kick but not make your nose burn. Fries could use less salt. I can tell they drop them hot, garnish them and do a quick shake of the salt. It settles on top fries. My buddy ordered the Lobster Frittes (sp??) Yummy! The sauce has a mushroom taste of course with the truffle something they add. Also, he had the side of fries. Same issue with the salt. Overall, it was great. Couldn't tell you the price, his treat. Attentive wait staff. We even spoke to an owner who greeted us. Not perfect because parking is hard and I wouldn't be able to find this spot usually. This restaurant is a lovely edition to the other restaurants on the Beltline. If you're into seafood, you need to get here ASAP! The seafood is sourced from the East Coast and you can tell the difference in how fresh and delicious it is. We made reservations (highly recommended) so we were promptly seated upon our arrival. The menu goes in order from appetizers to main courses (from top to bottom), which you can tell by price point. Surprisingly, this place is not crazy expensive which is definitely a bonus, considering the type of food on the menu. The menu is made for sharing so also note that this is a good place for groups. We ordered a nice variety of apps to share but my husband and I shared our entrees since our friends had a late lunch and weren't really as hungry as we were. For the apps, we ordered the bluefish dip, calamari, duck bao and brussel sprouts. My faves were the bluefish dip and those brussel sprouts are to die for!!! OMG! The calamari was also good but we didn't really care for the sauces that came with them (cilantro aioli and some other red sauce). I would've preferred a marinara or tomato based sauce. I don't eat duck but my husband said the duck bao was really good. For entrees, I had the Royal Red Shrimp (shrimp unique to Florida that taste like lobster) with the Squid Ink Tagliolini. That was simply outstanding! It was so much going in that dish but I loved the tomato based sauce as well as the basil and a little bit of a kick from the chili peppers. Be careful though - one bite I took had a good amount of the chili and opened my sinuses ALL THE WAY UP! My husband had the Lobster Frites which is basically lobster (served on the half shell) and french fries. The star of that show is the truffle cream that comes drizzled over the lobster. I love truffle anything so I was in love with that dish. The lobster was from Maine and cooked to perfection, as expected. They only had one thing for dessert which was a homemade Kit Kat dessert. It was delicious. However, it came with a guava sauce which they could've done without. It didn't seem to pair well at all with a rich chocolate wafer dish. I would've preferred caramel or even some type of berry or cherry complement. Aside from the food, the only reason why I gave this place 4 stars is because the parking situation here is ATROCIOUS!! They have a complimentary valet but it seems to be understaffed and very unorganized. It was such a cluster just trying to get into the valet line and, logistically, it just doesn't seem like they have this down to a science yet. If I were you, I'd go out of my way to find street parking (which will require you to walk across the parking lot) or take Uber/Lyft. This place still needs a ton of work. Went on a double date to check out Bully Boy and left disappointed. The menu sounds amazing.. we wanted to order one of each item, but unfortunately poorly executed by the staff and executive chef. Think they need a few more months to figure out serving process and consistency of each dish before it comes out of the kitchen. Our group ordered the following: Scallop roll - the dish looked great coming out and when you bite into it you just get a ton of sand and grit. Pros: - food served quick (with the exception of the 42 ounce steak that my husband ordered...‍) - all of the food was tasty. We ordered raw oysters, brussel sprouts, mussels, crab fried rice (tell the server to take it easy on the soy sauce that they add or skip the soy sauce all together), duck sliders on a Korean bun, shrimp, and the 42 ounce steak (please plan to share this huge steak with 3 or more people if you're ordering all multiple dishes, it comes with a huge side of potatoes, carrots, and green beans) Cons: -a bit pricy, if you care, check the menu out ahead to time so that you can plan. Two food disappointments in our group were the blue crab fried rice (which the two in our group said was very bland), and the white shrimp (probably would have been better as a bbq; bread was good though). I've been telling everyone about Bully Boy. I am not a fan of Two Urban Licks -- it feels way too much like dining inside of a club sometimes, too dark and loud. Though Bully Boy is owned by the ppl who own Two Urban Licks, it was a very different experience. Everything about our meal was fantastic: the drinks, the food, the service. We ordered the 60 second steak, crab fried rice, steak tartare, yellow fin tuna wraps, and fries. Hands down, the crab fried rice was one of the most amazing things I've put in my mouth in awhile. The presentation is amazing. I won't say anymore bc you should order it and see for yourself. I didn't try the steak but was told the sauce itself was worth ordering. We ordered a side of fries and my friend insisted that it was one of the best fries he's ever had. I've already made reservations to come back in a few weeks. This place was awesome and I don't give 5 stars very often. Atmosphere was very nice. A couple of people were here on group outings, while others on dates. In my opinion it's a bit loud to have a romantic date night. Food was delicious. Some portions were bigger than others. At the suggestion of our waitress we ordered 2 larger dishes (steak and crab fried rice). The steak option was delicious but more of a smaller plate than larger plate. The crab fried rice was amazing! My favorite thing we ordered. As for appetizers the blue fish dip which was good as well. For drinks, the #1 tequila was good. Thai style fish had strange vegetable salad side - felt like there were three separate items, the fish, the sauce and the salad. Each was good but didn't relate. Oysters were oddly not good. My friend and I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday night. The valet line was really long because they share it with Two Urban Licks next door which caused us to be a little late for our reservation. It wasn't too much of a problem because we were seated right away. We ordered these shareable items: -Charred Tucker Farms Carrots: These carrots were the best carrots I have ever tasted! Charred to perfection! -Nantucket Bay Scallop Roll with Shoe String Fries: The roll was full of flavor and the bread was delicious. The fries had dill on them which tasted great. -Blue Crab Fried Rice: We wanted to love this dish but the sauce that was poured on top was overpowering and we could not taste the flavor of the dish. The waitress poured WAY too much on top. There already seemed to be sauce cooked in with the rice. TREE NUT & GLUTEN ALLERGIES - BEWARE Went to this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago, our group warned them before hand of several severe allergies, and they were super careless about them. After one of our friends disclosed she was deathly allergic to tree nuts, our oysters had pink peppercorns (cashew family) everywhere; when we followed up with the waitress, she was curt and rude when we called her out and asked her why our food still had the specified allergen on it. I don't think they would have given a shit if any one of us ended up in the hospital because of a lack of effort on their part. It was like we were out of line for acknowledging that they had basically ignored us telling them about the allergies we had at the table. Our other friend at the table had celiac, and they had no clue what was or wasn't gluten free. They told her she couldn't have the rice and that they couldn't do the rolls gluten free, but then brought her out said normal rolls (which she refused), then brought her out a randomly gluten free (?) roll... then tried to charge her for a bunch of food she never got. There was also super delayed/forgotten orders, and we sat down while the restaurant was pretty dead. People who sat down after us were getting their food quicker. Overall, a careless establishment with bad service. We thought they were a new restaurant so we tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but after finding out the place had opened in 2018 and was associated with TWO urban licks, we were appalled. On top of all of this, the server went ahead and tacked an automatic gratuity on the bill... almost as if they knew they'd be missing tips for terrible service (and almost annihilating one of our friends - she would have ended up in the ER with severe symptoms). The food was fine but not worth the god awful experience. Save your time and money and dine at MF Sushi or Tomo for the same price, or choose an establishment that takes food allergies and its customers seriously and provides better service. read more

Short review: Lively, with good food and good drinks. Another fun addition to the Beltline restaurants I've been here a couple of times since it's opening. This restaurant is sorta hard to find. It's located right next to two urban licks on the parking lot side. Unlike the other restaurants around the area, bully boy does not overlook the beltline, but it makes up for the lack of views in it's own way. The vibe in the place is very boisterous, it always seems to packed with people. They have a good selection of hip hop music playing the background. The windows are decorated with neon lights that contrast the soft lighting inside the restaurant, the tables have a great wooden cork feel and complement the earthy looking plates and cutlery. Overall the ambiance is very fun and lively . It's probably a bit too loud to have a date, but it's the ideal place get some food before you party with your friends. Parking: it's located on the beltline so you basically have to valet if you want to park close to the restaurant. there are also paid parking and street parking options, but be prepared to walk a block or more if you choose to do this Food: The menu items are primarily seafood based. Price ranges around 8-22 dollars for most menu options- but there are lobster and steak items if you really want to go all out. dishes are served family style, they don't come in any particular order and they are meant to be shared with the table. my favorite dishes were the mussels, oyster sliders and the rabbit patty melt. The duck bao and the mushroom empanadas were also pretty good. I'd probably avoid the chicken wings(as a rule i don't recommend getting chicken at a seafood place), there are just better chicken options in Atlanta. You can miss it if you blink and that would be a tragedy. Sharing space , and valet with their sister restaurant two urban licks it's tucked right before the valet ramp. Let's note a few things. Their staff is phenomenal .. from the manger "boss lady" as her staff referrers to her with every sense of endearment to their amazing bar tenders dare I say mixologist because my tequila 1 was incredible, to our spunky server who kept up with the boys of our group and every joke. The playlist makes you wish it was still the early 2000s and cd burning was a thing. The oyster sliders are by far my favorite. Add a side of Brussels and fries for balance you know. They have happy hour oysters for $1 before 7pm. Totally worth. It valet is $2 not shabby at all. Someone at the table got the wings and I want to try those next. The appetizers were okay and pretty standard for a small plates restaurant, two of the sushi rolls we had were amazing while the others were okay. All the stars are well deserved...they crushed it last night. It isn't just for boys nor just for bullies. The vibe is cool, don't be fooled by the shipping container entrance. The drinks are solid and appropriately named...Tequila #1 is a treat. They serve all the food family style, it comes out when it's ready....not necessarily when you want it so order accordingly. The menu is pretty darn good, lots of options and we tried nearly all of them including some oysters, wagyu beef tartare, duck baos, mushroom empanada, brussels sprouts, lobster frites, crab fried rice, and the garden salad. Everything was prepared perfectly and was delicious. The lobster frites were hearty, we enjoyed the fries so much we ordered a whole plate. The crab fried rice with the omelette on top is amazing, especially cool when they open it up at the table and the soft scrambled eggs unfold over the rice. Cons: 1. The bathrooms are funky. There are only two of them and the locks and lights are poorly located. 2. Don't drive your own car, you'll thank me later. Let's start with the ambiance; the restaurant is set aside out behind Two Urban Licks and New Realm brewing in a small space with an open kitchen and huge window around the entire dining space. It gives off classy vibes, while maintaining a cozy and honest feel to the space. There isn't a ton of seating in here, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation; but I think the fact that Bully Boy is small gives it a unique and feel. To add to the experience, the staff is fantastic. They have a great attitude and are completely engaged in making sure that your experience is the best that it can be. We had an 11 top table on Saturday night, which I know can sometimes be a pain (I used to be a waiter) - but the guy who waited on us was super chill and flawless in providing a stellar experience. At one point, I'd asked for dijon mustard, which apparently Bully Boy doesn't carry. The manager ran over to Two Urban Licks to grab me dijon mustard. They really will go out of their way! In addition, the food is incredible they have a pretty wide range of veggie centric dishes for us veg-folks. The brussel sprouts were at the top of the list for me; crispy on the outside and drenched in a delicious tangy/savory sauce. Next up the mushroom empanadas ... damn! I could have eaten 5 more they were so good. The kung pao broccoli was also a solid option. I have zero complaints and I will definitely be back for the food! I highly recommend Bully Boy to anyone looking for a good spot to have a cozy dinner with a date, your friends, or your family. Have been wanting to come here for a while and wanted to love it was a fan of Two Urban Licks. Came on a Friday when they opened it was a rainy night and we were the only people in restaurant till we left except 2 people at the bar surprised me. The waiter was not very personable We ordered 5 items to share calamari, broccoli, carrots, bluefish dip and oyster sliders The food was pretty good except carrots so hard could hardly cut them with knife Skip dessert sounds better than they are Cocktails again sound good but just ok for price read more

Bully Boy is located on the Eastside beltline next to Two Urbanlicks and New Realm. I was super excited about this addition as it is more seafood based and that area was lacking in good seafood. We came on a Friday night and were told that reservations were absolutely necessary. We came at 5:30pm as no other times were available. We were probably 1 of 3 tables. It did get busier around 730pm or 8:00pm. In regards to food, we dined family style and had the ahi tuna wraps, the carrots, the blue crab mango salad, the mussels and the crab fried rice. I want to mention that I visited about 6 weeks after they opened. The menu prices listed from previous reviewers have since gone up about $2-4 per item. We were really excited about the blue crab dishes but only thought they were okay. The blue crab mango is pretty refreshing and a huge serving. However, I had a hard time getting any blue crab. In regards to the fried rice that people have raved about. It is made omurice style aka they cut the egg on top of the rice in front of you and have it splay out. Well, the egg was good. Problem is that it was heavily heavily soy sauced to the point that all flavors were masked. On a positive note, we really liked the ahi tuna wraps and the mussels (they can go lighter on the garnish though as you can tell from my picture). We had the kit kat for dinner and I would not order it again. Service was good and the wine list was thoughtfully made (as my Father in law would like to mention). Came here for a friends birthday. The Brussels sprouts were great. The mussels were fishy and mediocre and we sent them back. The calamari was good but nothing special. The soft shelled crab sandwich had great bread but the meat was not seasoned. The fried rice needed to be cooked longer because the egg made it mushy. The fish dip was ok. A little salty. The wings (I hate to say) were the best thing Along with the oysters we tried all four). Hate to add that the service was mediocre and really slow. I let the hostess and waitress know that it was my friends birthday. One of them let me know they give some kit Kat dessert for special occasions. I guess the waitress forgot ? We paid and she said nothing after waiting 20 minutes for her to come back. read more
