The tech was a little late but the company was very responsive when I called to find out when he would arrive and I was told he was wrapping up another job. He called me immediately after to give me his ETA and was very apologetic for being late. No biggie, like I said, most locksmiths I've used have been a lot less accommodating for appointment windows and on top of that, this place is much more affordable. Their trip charge was significantly lower than other quotes I got and the other fees were very reasonable as well. The tech was very professional when he arrived and super quick! They offer a discount for return customers as well. I need a locksmith at least once a year and this will now be my company of choice!

The technicians were courteous, but unfortunately they did not appear to know how to properly repair the issue. They spent approximately three hours working on the lock. In the end, they told me they had to loosen the entire door handle assembly to get the lock working temporarily and recommended replacing the entire handle, explaining that it would be very expensive. I was charged $1,227.45 for labor only--no replacement parts were installed. Although I wasn't happy with the price, I was relieved the door could at least lock. Unfortunately, by the very next day, the lock had failed again. I contacted Key One Locksmith and was told they couldn't return until 3:00 p.m. the following day, which wasn't an option for our business. I then called Lee's Lock & Safe in Encinitas. Their technician, Jon, arrived promptly, identified that the previous repair had been done incorrectly, corrected the problem, and had the lock working properly. His total charge was $274.75, which I found to be much more reasonable for the work performed. Afterward, I called Key One Locksmith to discuss my concerns. I was transferred to someone named John, who initially identified himself as a manager. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, he became argumentative and raised his voice. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, he stated he was actually a technician, questioned how I had obtained his number, made what I felt was an inappropriate comment referencing me as a woman, and then hung up on me. My biggest concerns are: Being charged $1,227.45 for a repair that failed the next day. The quality of the work performed. Literally within 2 mins of reaching out to Azlockouts, Joseph responded, asked for my location on and was at my apartment complex within in 15 mins. When Joseph arrived however, he thought it was a car lockout job. He said no worries, my friend Peter can help. He called Peter right then and there and told me he'd be to me within 15 mins. I did not ask for a rate .... just didn't think about about it. Peter arrived within the quoted timeframe and immediately noticed an issue with my lock. It was a secure lock, which meant it needed a drill to be open. Peter said he would try to get the lock open without a drill first, that way he wouldn't have to re-key the lock. He tried that for about an hour or so. After multiple attempts Peter said I'm going to have to use the drill, but it'll cost an extra $20, which brings my total $80. Cool... I had no choice! Once Peter used the drill it only took him a few more minutes (about 30) to change the lock. Once he was done I paid for the services through Cash App. I sent $80, that's what Peter quoted me. Once Peter received the payment he said "Oh wow! You left me a tip". I said ... ummmm Peter you quoted me $80. He said oh yeah I forgot! I'm inclined to believe the real quote for services isn't $80, or even $60 .... but what's a girl to do with your stuck out of your apartment. After searching and calling the manufacturer I decided to call TG to drill out the lock to get it off. What a solid guy TG is; affordable (he gave me the lowest quote out of 5 locksmiths),highly skilled, professional and fast! I called him Wednesday afternoon and he promptly showed up at my house a 2:30 at our scheduled time. He did a clean job and we removed the seat (he even helped me with the Allen bolts) within 10 minutes. TG is now my go to guy for any lock needs.

Again, still blocking traffic, as cars barely had enough room to squeeze around him I never was able to get a quote out of them over the phone. However, they were the third locksmith placed I called, and I was just happy to get someone who was able to come unlock my car. Do not recommend.
