2018 Chevy Traverse 2nd key, called at 2:15, arrived and finished by 5:30. Other Locksmith's left me hanging for 4days with no answer or return call/email. Nathan, here is your response to my review: Response from the owner 15 hours ago When you called we said we'd take care of any damages that we might have caused with the soonest available opening which would be about 48 hours from now. Now this has nothing to do with money. Even if another customer called and offered us a treasure trove, we would also give them the first available appointment. We can put you in touch with the rare customer we have caused damage, ( in some cases ,by far exceeding the cost of your door panel, and they will tell you that we took care of them no matter the cost). If you'd have a little more patience and not curse at us on the phone with vulgar language, we'd gotten this taken care of. That is a pretty flowery version. I agree I got upset and lost my cool, but It's pretty tough to say, hey, your door panel has to flap in the breeze for 2 days because they have other appointments. Especially after the $200.00 I Paid for the service and the needlessly broken panel. But, I will not disagree. I lost my cool and was wrong in that regard. So, here is your chance. Will you take care of the panel? I looked at it yesterday. Your tech broke the plastic cover over the latch and stripped three of the plastic inserts that hold the panel on. They won't lock in place. This man has to be the most honest business man I've ever met. I have an older Mercedes that needed an extra key made. I called Nathan and he came out a few days later. I've been told that these older Mercedes FOB's are notorious to replace BUT Nathan took on the task (for half the cost of the dealer). He had a real difficult time making one up after trying for hours to make. He told me he needed to come back as the ignition was now not working. A couple of days later he come back (MOST WOULD HAVE WALKED AWAY AT THIS POINT) and put in a used ignition part. It wouldn't work after HOURS of trying. He bought another used ignition part and AGAIN, this one after hours would not work. I had just paid him his fee and now was thinking he would walk away and leave me hanging. NO!!! This man went ahead and instead of buying another used ignition part he went to a local dealer and purchase a NEW ignition (retail cost is around $600). He did not charge me a thing for these parts or these many hours of labor. The new part was just put in and I have to tell all - this man is a very ethical business man and I must thank him from the bottom of my heart to finish this most difficult job and I'm now a happy camper. PLEASE ALL - USE THIS MAN if you lose a key and you won't be disappointed. He'll get the job done even if (as in my case) he loses money (probably a good $1000 in my case) in the process.
