Almost 20 years ago, I bought an old Jeep that had a glove box lock, but no key. Luckily, it was in…read morethe unlocked position, so I was able to use the glove box. A couple of years later, I removed the lock and took it to 3 different locksmiths in an effort to have a key made. Each one fiddled with it, but eventually gave up and none had a replacement lock. Then, fast forward 15 years later, I decided to try again. I took the lock into Lockology and the gentleman told me to leave it with them. The next day I was amazed to get a phone call that it was ready! I went to pick it up and found that the new key worked fine, but the mechanism was really stiff to open and close. The gentleman immediately addressed the issue and a few minutes later, the lock was working perfectly! Final charge was $18 with 2 working keys! Lockology definitely has my future business!

I needed my rental property rekeyed and made an appointment with West Valley Lock and Key. A lot of…read moreother companies give you a 4-6 hour window and still show up late (in my experience!) so I was very happy to get a one hour window. The tech was a little late but the company was very responsive when I called to find out when he would arrive and I was told he was wrapping up another job. He called me immediately after to give me his ETA and was very apologetic for being late. No biggie, like I said, most locksmiths I've used have been a lot less accommodating for appointment windows and on top of that, this place is much more affordable. Their trip charge was significantly lower than other quotes I got and the other fees were very reasonable as well. The tech was very professional when he arrived and super quick! They offer a discount for return customers as well. I need a locksmith at least once a year and this will now be my company of choice!

The agent just seemed better at communicating. He was nice, and showed up quickly. Explained everything well. However, he left a mess! He had to drill the lock to open it and left the drill shavings and lock pieces on the floor and doorway. For a service I paid almost $200 (including tip) for, I'd expect a professional job and a cleaned work site. All the tools you have in that truck and you don't carry a dust pan and hand broom?! I found this extremely unprofessional and rude. Basic clean up of your job should not be my problem, should come with the overpriced service. Do better.
