Good wings, cozy atmosphere and great pours of Guinness. Nice location, just off the Main tourist walking street. Prices, food and service are all good. Recommended for a quick bite and beer.

This place should have had a great ambience, but instead I felt it lacked it overall. We sat in a cozy corner which was great until the staff kept coming out of the back of the restaurant through one door which repeatedly banged very loudly every single time! The staff also gathered around near our table to get instructions for their day. We had a nice view out our window onto George Street til the bartender walked outside and shut the windows! The order of chicken wings lacked anything special. They were dry and lukewarm warm at best. The only reason we would go back is for a Guinness because you can't go wrong with that.

My friend and I spent the day in Saint Augustine and we stopped here for lunch. The hamburger I have to say was actually very good and cooked to perfection. Though a little small on the size compared to the price overall it was very good. Our waitress was great, though I wished I had her name. She was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and very patient. We sat outside and I have to say despite the heat, but under the shade made it actually very nice. This is somewhere I would definitely return.

Worst food I have ever eaten. My aunt pulled a piece of plastic out of the burger she was eating. The chef should have never served the food. The chicken wings were extremely dry . The chicken sandwich looked like it had dried blood still on the chicken breast. The food was digusting and over priced. Don't not eat at this place you will regret it . I would give this place zero stars

Super cute location. Love the outdoor seating area and inside love all the bits of history. Of course the food is on the pricier side but it is expected in the area. Service was phenomenal. They were super busy but very attentive. Everyone enjoyed what they ate. The only big negative was the price of a glass of orange crush. The kids all ordered it and it was $10 a glass. A beer was only $8 and a cocktail was $12. Just don't seem right. But didn't know the price until the check came.

Another lucky find - this time in the histroic district of St Augustine. We were looking for lunch and looking for something different. We've been eating well on this vacation and were looking for something "not too heavy", "no chain food", etc. Stumbled on the Bull and Crown Publick House and got a table on the patio. I opted for Shepherd's Pie while the wife had the "short ribs stack on Cibatta bread". Her sandwich came with a generous portion of fries. Both of our meals were excellent; the service was excellent and it was pretty reasonably priced. I probably won't be back in St Augustine anytime soon, BUT, when I do get back here - I'll be going to the Bull and Crown again.

I sort of wish we had sat outside but it was slightly too chilly. We sat at the bar inside and the bartender was lovely. However, the ambiance was nearly non-existent. At least outside people watching would have been available. The drinks were good. I just had a Modelo, so super simple. My friend had a Rosemary and Juliet. It had a fresh sprig of Rosemary and pink peppercorns floating around. Tasty! I did like seeing the fresh herbs at the bar. They looked like they were just picked. We both had a salmon BLT. It came with cold salmon which was... an interesting choice. It tasted fine tho. The sauce - I think some kind of aioli - was amazing and the absolute best part of the sandwich. Fries were good but nothing to write home about. The worst thing about it - there is no bathroom here. You have to go a few doors down to their sister restaurant? Wild to me they can operate without one there. All in all it's just an ok place. One thing I will say is that it is not overpriced like so many of the places in this very touristy part of town. So, if you're just hungry and need to eat something and not spend an arm and a leg - and likely get in and out quick - it's a fine spot for that.

Stopped by for lunch today with my wife and we totally enjoyed our food today. We both ordered Cobb salads and she also had a drink called the creamsicle and I got the whiskey flight and we enjoyed both. Bailey our server was pleasant and friendly and made us feel comfortable while we were there. I like the fact that this restaurant is let friendly and will be brining our pup out the next time we head out there!

We had a delightful experience. Stopped for lunch on our way to Fort Lauderdale. Drinks were amazing and the Salmon Bruschetta was delicious. It paired so well with my dry martini! The music was great and our host was very friendly!

Came here on our stop to St. Augustine, starving for some lunch. Food was okay nothing spectacular. Wings were tasty, came with 8 pieces. Burger was big. They have an outside and inside but the inside doesn't have any AC, so definitely hot regardless where you sit. Service was fast and attentive. The bathrooms are not on site but a little further away

During a weekend golf trip at World Golf Village we decided to visit the historical sites, shops, pubs, and restaurants of St Augustine. While looking for an interesting place to have a meal, we noticed Bull & Crown had a nice outdoor seating area with a table available as we walked by. A quick check of their menu was enough to get our appetites going. Service was quick and efficient. Our food came out without any issues and was well prepared. We ordered Shepherd's Pie and a Short Rib Stack sandwich. Both were very good and I highly recommend the Short Rib Stack sandwich. Plenty large enough to fill you! A very pleasant place to sit and talk while watching the world walk by.

This is an authentic feeling British Pub right on St George Street. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of drinks to choose from. Wine, Beer, Cocktails. We had the Tropical Punch. The drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. It's easy to find stop by for a refreshing beverage in a cool pub.

Big burger - my friend and I shared it and were very happy and full. It was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The servers were very friendly and accommodated us sharing one meal. Clean restaurant.

Place is a joke for what they charge. Will not be returning, which is sad because was excited to try such a unique location.

The bar meanwhile was completely open and it is seat yourself. We both ordered chicken wings, extra crunchy with the whiskey rub on them. The rub is a little sweet, but we requested them to hit it lightly so that we didn't have as much sweetness on the wings. We also got an order of the pork rinds which are cooked fresh and you can ask for a dusting of the whiskey rub on those as well. They were very good, but they are a large order so definitely be prepared to share. I also got a cup of their beer cheese soup - I would not order it again. The texture was a little off for me and it felt like it was probably at the bottom of the cooker. The first bartender we had was OK, but felt like he was just going through the motions. The second bartender that took over our service was much friendlier and checked in on us periodically.

Our server, Colleen, told us the historic building used to be an opera house. We went for an early dinner on a Friday evening and the restaurant was packed. The menu has a little of everything and there is a huge bar with a long list of beers and a full array of liquor. We ordered drinks and asked for a few beer samples. A few of us chose beers and my husband had the "CYO" create your own old-fashioned with Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Demerara and black walnut bitters for $15. He said it was terrific! We also ordered the County Line Boiled Peanuts which were really good, and enough for the 4 of us to share for just $7.00! Everyone enjoyed their main courses as well. I had the Black N' Bleu salad, $25. It was full of perfectly cooked steak and Bleu cheese crumbles, as well as fresh spring mix, multicolored tomatoes, picked onions and peppers. Yummy! My husband had the PK Burger which came with an egg on top. He enjoyed his as well and said that the burger patty itself was delicious. He also had a fresh side salad so it came to $22. Our server, Colleen, was friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Prohibition Kitchen and I will be back the next time I'm in the St. Augustine area.

Walking in, I loved the vibes! It gave modern tiki bar feeling, it was clean and felt very warm and inviting. We sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender and a very extensive and beautiful leather bound menu! I loved that haha! They had everything from classic tiki drinks, to modern, to drinks by liquor type, etc. It had the food menu, some information about the bar and how it came about. We ordered a few drinks: Bushido Rhapsody (DELICIOUS), Stars & Sarsaparilla (husband liked it) and their currently rotating tiki drink - Escape from Black Mountain, which serves 2 and is served in a cool mug of the bust of Pedro Menendez. You can purchase it as well! It was so good and felt never ending between the 2 of us drinking it. For food we ordered a couple of apps - Cajun Chicken Eggrolls and the Montenegro Meatballs. Both were fantastic!! If we didn't already have dinner plans, we would have stayed here for dinner! Definitely will be coming back here next time we are in town and every time after that!

I had maybe the most bibimbap of my life here, and that includes contenders from a number of restaurants in the Atlanta area. It was truly perfect. $8 for adding tofu (maybe 1/4 block lmao) is one of the funniest things I've ever seen financially, but hey it's a tourist area and it was absolutely made with skill & care, so I wasn't even mad. Seriously, I wanted to hug whoever cooked it. It is so worth it. Everyone else at my table was thrilled with what they got - burrata sandwiches and a fish sandwich. Not a good beer selection, it's very cocktail focused. Not my thing but yeah I will absolutely be back anytime I am in this wonderful city. This is not one to skip

I had driven by this place so many times and thought about dropping in. I finally made the trek…read moreover there as a midway meeting point to meet up with some friends in town. Let me first start with the customer service! They don't have a voicemail and I had called whether to confirm they were open the day we were going. The phone number advises texting. So I did. And they texted back so fast and were so helpful in making sure we would have plenty of time etc. And the service there in person was even better. We did come in on the later side but didn't feel rushed or like a bother at all! Grateful for that! Most of our party ordered the fish &chips... because what the heck else do you order at a pub?! lol. I was pretty impressed! The fish was crispy on the outside and good and flaky on the inside. Everyone was a fan! One person did have the bratwurst and had good things to say. I had a bite too and thought it was pretty good (brats aren't really my thing - but for someone who likes them, I can bet that you'd like this one!). As for drinks... The pour on my Guinness was perfection! Other people had ordered Smithwicks and I thought that was delicious as well! One other person had a glass of wine and was complimentary. I didn't try it myself. I'm not sure what this place looked like prior to the Wobbly Whale moved in but it seems like they upgraded and made it all new again. It does seem very classic British pub as far as the ambiance. It's a cozy gathering spot. I did see they have a trivia night and I intend to be back for that. Maybe for some more fish and chips too!

This is one of those few restaurants that I couldn't tell you how many times I drove by and thought…read more"man, I really want to check that place out" (especially during the previous era / ownership with the heavy British theming), so I finally decided to entertain myself. There was plenty of parking behind the building and upon entering the ambiance was okay, but the overall lighting was a bit bright. I was expecting a cozier vibe inside considering they're going for the whole "pub" thing. The small militia of staff were friendly and attentive enough. The draft Miller Lite I ordered was reasonably priced, but the entrees were a little steep. I ordered the "American Werewolf In London" (good burger / great movie) and there was some to be desired. I will say though, the fries were very good. One more thing: this place needs more random decor on the walls and ceiling. - Lou Sassle
