I locked myself out, was very much distressed after a tough week at work. Couldn't reach my cats to feed them. Dylan was a lifesaver - he was calm, cheerful, and extremely professional. He was able to get into my house, no problem, but I was especially grateful for how he handled the situation (my stress and helping me stay calm). I would definitely recommend, had a good chat with him about my cats and his passion for dirt biking read more

Got a new digital lock put on an older rotary dial safe. These guys are fast, professional and affordable! I would recommend highly.

Fast friendly service. Lost my keys landlord uses them that why I came in. Easy to park. Not expensive for the services I needed.

Dylan is the man! I had an issue with my push bar mechanism at my store and Dylan end up helping me fix it and saving me a lot of money. He didn't have to do that. He could have sent a tech out and charged me a lot more but he went out of his way to get me the part I wanted and the advice I needed mostly over the phone. Great experience for me! read more

These guys are the best in the business! Cam is great!! Everything I bring in gets fixed better than I expected and everything I buy is awesome!! I just bought a new safe and it's AWESOME!! Thanks sooooooooo much Bulger! Keep up the great work! read more

I asked for a quote on replacing a lock and they told me $99. When I received the invoice it was for $215. Turns out the quoted price was just for the service call and didn't include the replacement lock and keys. I would think if a customer asks "How much to get a lock replaced?" you would quote the entire price, not just a piece of it. Feels dishonest. read more

Just stopped at Bulger safe and Lock on lake city way in seattle and was helped by Dylan. Dylan solved two problems for me that numerous other people seemed unable to do, Not only did he solve them with a smile, he was efficient, speedy, understanding of the issue and offered Excellent customer service. I say to Dylan's boss, "keep that boy on and give him a raise!!!" Thanks Dylan read more

Great fast service. I always bring all my lock business here. I've never had any issues with the quality of their work. Highly recommend.

Brought in a simple tailgate lock to be re-keyed and was told it would take them TWO WEEKS because, "automotive locks just aren't a priority" WTF? My business isn't important? To hard for you guys or not enough profit in it? HORRIBLE customer service! read more

Bulger Sage & Lock has the largest selection of Medeco locks in our area. We stopped by today for the first time hoping to find what we were looking for. Cam at Bulger Safe & Lock was very helpful today in making our selection of new locks. read more

My experience with this locksmith was extremely frustrating. (They are the "approved" locksmith for the flat in my condo building or I never would have continued to try to work with them.) First complaint, locksmith service is abysmal: I had an after hours (6 pm) lock out situation due to an attempted burglary's mangling of my front door and lock. I left multiple voicemails (3) on the main line for Bulgar and on the emergency line and received no response for several hours. They are not truly 24x7 but seem to have hoodwinked buildings into believing that they do have people on call. Second complaint, customer service is also abysmal. We "patched" the problem last night using another locksmith, and I called Bulgar this morning to get someone out to ensure that the flat was safe and an additional style lock installed. The woman who answered the phone claimed no knowledge of the multiple calls placed last night. She was also not interested in knowing. In short, she was rude, unknowledgeable, and unwilling to get a service tech out to the building. She's likely the owner or a relative or friend of the owner as her attitude was so poor that any normal employer would never allow that behavior to be the "face" of the business. Soonest she could get someone to visit was 4 days from now or next week. My recommendation: Avoid this place and find another company. There are other long standing locksmiths who have a physical storefront, are qualified and reputable locksmiths, and are interested in customer service. read more

If you have Bulger come to your house for a job, keep a record of the time they spend performing the work requested and ask for an itemized receipt. I received an unitemized receipt with only a round number, $500, for parts and labor. I had to call several times before I finally received an itemized receipt. They charged me for 75 minutes of labor when they actually spent 40 minutes doing the labor. I asked for a refund for the difference and they said they would send a check the next day. I'm still waiting. The bottom line is they should give you an itemized estimate in writing BEFORE they come out to do the work. read more

Had them put in a latch on my garden door. Cost me ridiculously 300 dollars for a tiny latch, and it didn't even work right after 2 days of rain. When I called them to have them reinstall it, they actually claimed that it was not the latch's fault and it's my garden door that was bad quality. Therefore they said the 90-days warranty doesn't apply. Horrible money-sucking company. Don't use them. read more

I went in to this location to get some info on one of my older safes. The guy behind the counter was unhelpful and seemed completely uninterested in my questions. He even suggested that I apply for a job there in order to get the answered I needed! Really? I was going to ask about the availability of a tl-30 rated safe, however after receiving such terrible service, I will go somewhere else from now on. read more

I use these guys to make all of my keys for clients. No matter what I bring in, new, old, broken, whatever. They have it and can duplicate it. I have yet to find a key they can't duplicate. Not to mention they have a cool dog. Have a key you can't copy some place else, go see the guys at Bulger. read more

Lost my motorcycle keys, which if you dont know, is its own personal hell. Dealership with the key codes doesnt exist anymore, so I removed my ignition. removed the 'key-interface' from the ignition and brought it to bulmers. 2 hours and an alarmingly low 35 dollars later I had two new keys (molded from my ignition), and some much needed peace of mind. Couldn't be any happier. read more

Great service for a very hard to find lock solution. Quick turnaround on special order items I needed for the job.

Pull up 10 minutes after they close, door locked. Guy comes lets me in and makes 6 copies of keys for me. Wow! Certainly a 5 star experience in my book. Well done gents! read more

Fast and reliable service! I needed my front door lock rekeyed and Cam helped me out. Really speedy service. Would recommend!

After a series of break-ins on my service vehicles, I had heavy-duty recessed hockey-puck style locks installed . The owner gave me a fair price for the work, and the installer was excellent, showing truly fine craftmanship and extreme attention to detail. These guys are tops. read more

If you ever lost your Motorcycle keys, this is the only place I'd recommend. Amazing service and friendly staff.

Went to Bulger Safe and Lock a couple months ago and have been meaning to review them. I needed to have some additional Do Not Duplicate keys made for my work. Cam was efficient and helpful and I was in and out in no time. read more

Bulger does all the rekeys and duplicate keys for all our properties we sell. Always fast and very competitively priced. I have dealt with Jeff in the shop several times - great guy. He is very knowledgeable, always friendly, and you can tell he takes great pride in making sure every customer is satisfied. With something as important as securing your home or business, there is no other company I trust more than Bulger to get the job done. Thanks guys! read more

So I have a Subaru that has a type of key that's really fond of breaking. My key broke. Get on the 372, had down to Bulger, and show them the key. It has a key code on it, so easy peasy replication, but I did have the whole key! The gentleman made me 2 new keys, out of much harder stock, for a pittance. I've worked at a number of places that only trust their locks to Bulger. I think I get why given that they saved my butt at minimal cost and provided the best of service to a tiny need. Thanks. I'll be back the next time I need a key copy, because I'd rather pay a little more for professional work than trust crap hardware store keys. read more

I'd like to make a nice review about a local business, but I just cannot. Not only were they unable to make a copy of my key, when I asked for a suggestion in the area to one man- another interrupted and said "No. We don't know anyone else." Like, geez guy. How do you not know your competition? And if you do, why be so selfish about helping somebody else out with something that you cannot assist them with? read more

I emailed pictures of my double door to show Joe Bulger what kind of locking system and bolts I had. He was prompt in returning answers to my questions. He showed me my options and explained to me some choices concerning other doors with outside facing hinges. Mark, my installer, was thoroughly professional and could perform the grinding and fitting that was needed to install my lock set. You know you can trust a company and it's representatives when they don't try to sell you something you don't need, (especially when they show you that you didn't need it in the first place, as Mark did!) Integrity and trust is what you want in a lock company. read more

Over twenty five dollars for two keys. We had no choice but to use them because they have the copy rights to the front door of our condo building. Great way to build customer loyalty; take advantage of a situation. Will never use this place again. Two stars because the keys worked. read more

I have been going to Bulger for a few years, they have always meet my needs. Yesterday I went in to have a key copied and found a trailer hitch lock I liked. What I really wanted was to have four of the locks keyed alike so I asked if getting three rekeyed to would work and was told they couldn't rekey that particular lock but Jeff said he would call the manufacturer and see if I could get four keyed alike. This morning I received a email from Jeff saying yes it was possible, gave me the price and a estimate on the arrival time. Excellent service. read more
